Tiled bathrm floor, cut & install wood baseboards, chg cabinet hardware, paint, hang wall rack, install vanity light. Versatile, pleasant, honest local skilled gentleman.
My husband and I decided to get hardwood and paint the interior of our house, and as new homeowners we didn't know where to start. We went to different places to see who had the best prices, and all the places we looked at either were ridiculously high, or they didn't take us seriously and just didn't bother to respond. Out of desperation I turned to the Internet and found Mario and Nate. I contacted Nate originally to just give me an estimate, but was blown away at his mannerism and his knowledge of his profession. He informed me that he also does wood flooring and showed me a few of his work and I must say, I liked what I saw. Although more pricier then other painters, their concern for the little details puts them above others. They take pride in what they do, and make sure that you're satisfied with everything before proceeding to the next step. At no fault to them the project is taking awhile longer due to our wood not coming on time, but they were flexible enough to work with my schedule and squeeze me in at any available time they had. They painted the interior of my house, put in wood flooring upstairs and downstairs as well as the stairs, are now building a new mantel piece for my fireplace and a new entertainment system. I wouldn't ask anyone else to do it. Bottom line, hire them. They do more then just paint, and they'll do a much better job at it. Nate is borderline OCD with his work so you know if it's not perfect, he'll fix it to make it perfect. Take my word for it because their work made me fall in love with my house again.
Backyard awning was bolted to a major wood panel ... the wood had gone bad due to water damage. Sam did a great job, fixing everything without any damage to the awning. he also replaced and fixed up most of my window trims. Very fast and clean job. He is a professional .. i would hire him again.
Can trust Barry with a key to my house while I'm at work, and my dogs love him. The work was above expectations. He's a perfectionist and even more annal than I am.My bathrooms were torn out and tiled, and new counter tops put in. I had no mess,as he cleans up before I got home and the work was completed sooner than I expected. He also tore out wood paneling in a 250 foot family room, textured and paintedand it looks beautiful. He will be putting in 500 feet of tile floor next and remodeling my kitchen. Can't wait.
The job: 1) Inspect entire home for dry rot; remove all that was identified, and install new lumber matching lumber. 2) Inspect all windows and doors; adjust if required, and caulk/seal around all. 3) Paint exterior house trim; around windows and doors. 4) Other numerous small tasks (e.g. install GFCI outlets, smoke detectors, CO detector, water heater earthquake straps, etc). Robert and his assistant did a fine job taking care of all the aforementioned tasks. I was very satisfied with the work performed. If you have home repair problems/projects involving wood, I suggest you consider having Robert evaluate your problem/project and give you a bid.
We hired Scott to replace sun-damaged dry-rotted fascia boards on the front of our two-story house in Folsom before repainting it. His guys did a great job peeling back the concrete roof tile, removing the damaged boards and replacing with new boards. Perfect execution. Not a single tile was broken. He also recommended using engineered wood which was a great suggestion to avoid cupping. I'm an architect and I work for a major general contractor, but I just didn't want to do the work myself. I had high expectations and Scott's company met and exceeded them. I would not hesitate to recommend Scott and S & W Construction for your carpentry needs.
Jeff redid the tile in my master bedroom, installed a new tub and fixtures and put tile on the face of the tub. The only thing I wish was different is the width of the "decorative" tile strip. I would have wanted it wider and would have told Jeff if he had asked. Overall, I am extremely happy with the work.
Brianna and his team were awesome and very affordable. They installed new led lighting throughout the entire home, new tile install, and some electrical work. Great crew of guys and very efficient with their jobs.
Brandon Byrne is professional, prompt, pleasant, and does excellent work! We had an old bath converted into a bath and shower. Job required removing old tile, plumbing new shower, waterproofing walls and installing new tile and fixtures. His bids were reasonable and matched the final cost of the job. Good communication and always arrived for work on time. Job site was well organized, area was covered and no messes were left behind. We are very happy with his work and can recommend him without hesitation.
I would recommend this company to anyone in need of work done on their home. I had a terrible problem with fungi inside and outside of my home. There was dry rot on the siding and trim, the plywood roof sheathing on the patio cover, the support beams suffered from fungi damage, a lot of my wood sash windows were affected by the fungi as well. Spectrum One sent their crew out right away. Not only did they remove and replace all of the damaged wood, they also fixed my leaking faucet and toilet. Thank you!!
I am in eighties and disabled. Darren has fixed plumbing issues like toilet seals, installed new fixture in kitchen sink, and toilet flush handles. He cleaned and stained red wood deck off master bedroom and installed a step and hand rail on one side. He also built a yard waste container enclosure with trim. Plus he has done several jobs requiring a ladder. His work has always been top notch. He is good at cleaning up after a job and is polite and articulate in presenting his pre job guaranteed estimate.
From the first time I met with Nick Bossio of Solid General Construction , I felt that my wife and I were in good hands. He was patient, personable, and knowledgeable; his price was fair. To say that my intuition proved to be correct would be an understatement. Nick, his brother Zack, and other employee Jesse did outstanding work in removing the old siding from the front of our home, installing new Hardee cement fiber siding and new trim, painting the new installation, and hooking up new exterior lighting. They arrived promptly each morning during the promised period when there was no rain, and finished the job on time. They added extra touches, such as caulking every conceivable nook and cranny, installing metal flashing at the top of the horizontal trim, and affixing routered wooden mounts for our exterior lighting. The resulting curb appeal of our home is remarkable. The finished job exceeded our expectations. Nick and his crew are masters at their craft. It was a pleasure to welcome them to our home, and a great experience to have them do our work. We recommend them to anyone needing siding installation or any kind of home improvement or remodeling project.
I contracted Environmental Builders to prepare my home for sale. This involved repairing and replacing siding, painting, fixing doors, plumbing and replacing flooring. Everything was done in a professional, yet friendly manner. The inevitable problems which arose were handled by Mark and he made sure everything was done right and to my satisfaction. He far exceeded my expectations. I would recommend Environmental Builders to anyone planning a construction project, no matter how large or small.
