Introduction: I offer professional drum instructions. My lessons are for ages 2 years old to 100 years of age. I have over 25 years of experience in teaching in the Monterey Peninsula. Learn, playing mechanics, stick techniques, music and rhythm theories, sight readings, ear training and lots of songs.
for the last 5 years I have been teaching band classes. And now teach bass and guitar. Also have been repairing drums for 30 years, and now repair basses and guitars out of Midtown Guitar Co. in Santa Cruze.

I started learning how to drum at age 51! It was a great experience working with Seinen! She made learning easy and fun. If you have a certain song you want to learn, bring it to her and she will make it happen!

Both my sons had Seinin as drum instructor! Our eldest from the time he was 8, until he could drive! When he entered middle school band he could read music, play by ear AND tell you what he was doing! When he graduated he was hired to direct the drum line and jazz band percussion. At first, I thought Seinin was pushing too fast towards all the discipline with technique and reading music. However, she was right and both our sons read, write, jam, and continue to be percussionists! Seinin is an excellent teacher! I've been very confident referring my students to her, as well.

I have been a student of Seinin’s for the past 8 years and she has been a great instructor and friend. She is very knowledgeable in every about drum kits, cymbals, drum sticks and all the other accessories drums come with. She also has drum lessons that teach kids sight reading and music theory. She will always give you the best advice and tools for whatever you need. Seinin is second to none in her field of drums!
