As a 58 year old woman I was amazed at how patient and full of enthusiasm Ernesto was teaching my group of family members to dance Latin dances for my daughter's wedding. He made the lesson so fun and got us all into it. The best of all was watching his moves...omg what a great dancer! Since I love to dance, I would love for him to take me out on the dance floor and lead me around at an event. You could not ask for a better dance instructor (and he is super handsome also!).
We have been students of this studio from 2007 until our recent need to relocate, from our experience the instructors are outstanding and will take you to their "happy place" nightly .. our personal instructor not only taught us dance technique but gave us a passion for dance, ... owners Julie and Nathan strive to guide students but more than that they inspire ..... it was our go-to place for fun, it could be yours ... check it out. My fiancé and I are beginners trying to learn how to dance for our wedding. We have had a lot of fun learning. We feel more confident and comfortable with the help of Mari. Mari is an awesome teacher/instructor, I would highly recommend her. A++
Come one, come all. I have been taking an individual class tailored to my needs for years from JMPTS and she is amazing! She focuses on strength training, balance, yoga, pilates and more. I highly recommend that you contact her for an excellent experience . Cindy G
I was a pre-champion level ballroom dancer for four years during college on an international competitive ballroom dance team. I can teach any style of ballroom such as international, American, tango, and salsa or swing that you would ever want to learn! Contact me with the specifics.
I'm a longtime yogi who lost my left foot a few months ago. Sarah has been working with me individually for a couple of months now to regain my practice. This was a rather challenging assignment; standard yoga instruction and poses will obviously not do in my situation, and we have both had to work together, feeling our way forward on how to adapt things. I could not be happier with Sarah as an instructor. She has moved my practice forward faster than I would have believed possible, projecting enthusiasm and cheerfulness, striking a difficult balance between respect for what I can do today and encouragement to do more. We have had to work out unique adaptations for most poses, and she plunged into this with creativity and imagination, and I find myself doing poses each week I assumed I would never do again. I can't help feeling my victories are her victories, the hallmark of an excellent teacher.
I am a young teacher who seeks to inspire the joy of dance into the young ones. I provide a classical technique that is combined with modern enthusiasm to create a unique, fun program.
Alma Latina has great children's dance teachers. I'm not sure who is happier at the end of class, the kids or the teacher. Both are glowing. Teachers and kids both have great fun while learning Latin and ballet technique. Kids especially love learning the showmanship attitude. Just search for Alma Latina Kids on youtube and you'll see what I mean. I hope to be as good as the AL kids someday! The best ages for kids classes are 3 years old and up. They also have great adult classes in salsa, cumbia, bachata where they mix in cha cha. My favorite kid's teachers are Gaby, Biana and Paula.
As a former professional dancer myself, I have the ability to take your already-talented and -trained student to the next level, as well as teaching within such a structure that can take you from a beginner to an intermediate in record time. I am lucky to have had a promising career, having danced with the ABT, TBT, and Broadway Tours, as well as numerous productions with well-respected performers such as Sally Struthers, John Vaughn, Debbie Reynolds, Elizabeth Berkeley, Joe Tremaine and more. Ultimately, I turned to acting, working with top talents consistently in TV, film, and theater since. .
I teach philosophy, Spanish, arts (painting and crafts) and also tribal belly dancing. Microcosmos is a curatorial group that manages and makes art exhibitions.
We teach a variety of styles to willing students at any level, in private or in groups, just for fun or education/technical training. We teach all ages. Group rates are available. We do one-time parties for things such as birthday parties, etc. as well as workshops.
I can adapt and modify my lessons according to the specific client needs and goals. I'll give a free assessment to evaluate you. I work and give emphasis on proper technique and in turn boost your confidence and improve your own, unique style. It doesn't matter what your background or experience is, we'll get you dancing, and you'll have a great time.
Kyoto was fantastic. We took lessons before my daughters wedding and Kyoto choreographed the bride/groom and father/daughter dance. During the lessons she made everyone feel at ease and worked with us to give us something we were very happy with. We also had a personal emergency which meant we had to reschedule. Kyoto dealt with it in a very professional manner and moved her other bookings around to accommodate us. I highly recommend her, she is a wonderful person.
Stephanie is amazing! She is super sweet and fun to work with you! My fiance was really nervous to dance at our wedding because he didn't know how and we hired Stephanie and he was so excited and happy to dance our first dance at our wedding. She taught us the basics and everyone at our wedding thought we did a beautiful job! She is a great instructor and it was such a pleasure working with her. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a dance instructor! Thank you Stephanie!
