Rich was such an amazing investment in my life. I was 60lbs overweight and needed motivation and expert guidance to get this fat off! I am an ex college football player and figured I knew how to workout but just needed that push. So, I met each through a friend and let's just say what I thought I knew, I didn't. He showed me so many different exercises and the proper and safe way to reach my goals. His routines were ever changing and he kept it fun. His personality is great, he truly becomes your friend and coach. I lost the 60lbs in 8 months and I feel amazing. He truly is a life changer. His mind for training is one of a kind. The way he combines and create routines is something else and I have learned so much from him. I hired Allison to work with me on flexibility and pain management. I have very tight hips and several injuries from running and she designed a program for me that was both safe and effective. Her teaching style is down-to-earth and accessible and she has been very encouraging as I make progress. I highly recommend Allison for her positivity and emphasis on form and alignment.
I love Lisa! Her prices are unbeatable, and she's very understanding and flexible. Our sessions are always super fun, and she feels like family. She pushes when you say push, but is careful to avoid anything that could strain or injure you. I referred my sister to start training with her as well, and she really likes it too.
I've been doing personal training since 2010 through many different trainers, my all time favorite was with Brittany. I went through a phase where I wasn't conditioned to training, had gained weight and wasn't use to lifting weights. The first time we trained together, I thought it was really weird but she made it of importance about my breathing and posture and didn't just get right back into lifting like I use to. A couple sessions later, I really actually felt a difference because she made it important to recondition myself and make sure that I breathe properly while I train! She not only made me feel physically fit, she was a great person to talk to, and made me feel great while I worked out and constantly pushed me to be a better person. I wouldn't ever want another trainer, and when I'm done with my break from training, Brittany and I are going to be back out there hitting those new PR's!
I hired Tom initially to get in shape for my approaching wedding in Hawaii, which I then continued for 3 months after as the results were excellent. Tom pays attention to your goals, habits, metabolic type, and physical abilities. His diet suggestions and diversity in workout routines kept things interesting and fun (as fun as working out can be at first!) Tom's knowledge of CrossFit training, weights, and various other disciplines set him apart from your typical 24hr fitness trainer. He was willing to be flexible with my work schedule and was always available for a quick call or text. Tom provides encouragement, support, and puts together a solid plan to achieve your goals. I would highly recommend Tom for anyone hesitant or intimidated by the gym and or initial commitment of getting in shape.
I had the privilege to work with Lisa Michele and give her program my highest recommendation! The 90-day program put together by Lisa exceeded all my expectations! She taught me different ways to think about food, in terms of eating and preparing food. We also spent time discussing fitness topics, and even though I live in Phoenix, she was able to prescribe an exercise program that helped me meet my fitness and health goals. I finally lost those stubborn last 10 pounds I struggled to lose, strengthened my upper body and I even ran my first 5K race, with her training program, support, and encouragement. Lisa has a friendly personality, abundant energy, empathetic soul, and is a genuinely good person. Her program really worked for me.
I did a lot of research on the internet on Fitness Trainers before deciding on Colby and was thoroughly impressed & satisfied with the training program he set out for me. I loved the professionalism of the whole experience; his knowledge, work ethic, the FACILITY & STAFF. It was not a "meat locker" but people with a common purpose working hard to attain it. What I love was Colby was 100% on me in training ... no wandering eyes, answering phone with other clients and NEVER gave me the sense he was board with what he was doing. Always encouraging and keenly aware of what I was going thru mentally as well as physically. Though I have moved out of the area, I still hitting him up with advice and help & he always responds ... he is the man! Try that with some of the other trainers after your contract is up! Highly recommend him to anyone that is serious about their training on ALL levels. I am no pin up model lol. Thanks Colby!

The training with Candon is professional and individually adapted to me. He is always punctual, competent and very nice. Training with him is great fun. Candon offers individual price models.
Josh knows what he is talking about. He is more than a trainer he is a teacher and you really feel like you are learning about your body when you work with him. That type of information is uncommon and invaluable. He truly cares about his clients as well making himself available for guidance even outside of training hours. There is a clear difference in working with him than other trainers, he puts thought into the workouts so they are mentally and physically stimulating and tracks progress for clients. Without a doubt the best trainer in the San Diego area.
I've known Jon for a number of years. I met Jon when he was a student athlete at San Diego State University playing football. He's always been determined to be a personal trainer and there wasn't a droubt in my mind that he would reach that goal. When I learned that he was actually training people I had to see what he was doing. So I started following him on Instagram to see him in action. I was impressed with what he was doing with his clients that I called him up and set up an appointment. He stopped by my office (which I appreciated) and we talked about what my fitness goals and objectives were for training and the next week I was at his training facility training. He didn't go easy on me and he didn't let me slack on any part of my workouts. I thought he would take it easy on me but he didn't and I appreciate that. There were times I told him I couldn't do an exercise and that the weight was too heavy but he encouraged me to do it. And I did it. His positive attitude and patience with me makes him an AMAZING trainer. Not only does he care about your fitness journey but he cares about you as a person. Side note he allows me to have fun (telling jokes and singing) when I workout, while still pushing me to get better and stronger. I would recommend that you give Jon a chance and see for yourself what an AMAZING trainer he is.
Sam is one of the best trainers I have ever worked with. She knows her profession and has helped me improve on my weaknesses and strengths regarding sports performance and on the basketball court training as well. She is worth way more than what she charges and is a great deal for what you get out of it! As a Division one athlete she understood the quality of training I needed and her program exceeded my expectations .
I did a 2 week trial with Adam, and in just those 2 weeks I could feel a difference in my body. The Workouts he had me doing were great! From rope slams, Trx cables and Bear crawls, Adam had me doing everything I needed to be loosing fat and gain muscle. He also recommends a dietary plan. This was great, he provided a shopping list and snacks that I should eat during the workouts to get the best results. Adam is a great trainer and he knows his stuff! i would highly recommend anyone who is trying to live a healthier lifestyle to get in touch with Adam.
Working with John is great! He's very knowledgeable on strength training and nutrition. And he comes right to you! (I can work out conveniently at the fitness center in our condo community.) Also, his price is very reasonable.
Maggie was my trainer in SF until she broke my heart and relocated to San Diego. I really enjoyed our time together as she incorporated things I like to do (Pilates, strength training) into my routine while making sure I never got bored. She also made me do things I don't like (running, stairs) to make sure that my workout was well rounded. I also had never worked out outside before (and didn't think I would like it) and found out that it could be very enjoyable.
I started personal training with Jeremy about a year and half ago. I was struggling to lose weight on my own and came across his kickboxing class. I was really nervous to try something I had zero experience in and was way out of my comfort zone. But he was really patient and understanding. I was really impressed and decided to look into his personal training. Seriously the best choice I made. He was able to push and motivate me in ways you don't get to experience in a group class. I like how he focuses on technique and pays attention to every little detail. He's very patient as he explains in depth of combos, movement and footwork. But it didn't stop there. My fitness goals changed & we started to shift our focus more on weight training. He was able to explain every workout and body part we were focusing on. And help me with my diet/nutrition. Not only is he very knowledgeable in all areas of fitness but he's passionate about what he does. He keeps it fun but professional. I was able to meet my fitness goals thanks to Jeremy.
