Jose and his crew showed up on time, in fact they were early. They were ready to work and did an excellent job of extracting a truck load of backyard junk, including scrap wood, bricks, etc. They cleaned the area quite nicely. I would recommend Jose.
It started off as a simple job, pull some vinyl that was separating from the subfloor in a very small bathroom and replace it with ceramic tile. The job was scheduled to take a day and a half (a good portion of that time is waiting for the tile to set) but as soon as James pulled the vinyl back there was a homeowner's worst nightmare, mold from a leaky toilet. James then worked tirelessly for the next four and a half days removing all the damaged subfloor, the cast iron plumbing that had rotted out, the floor joists and tearing the bathroom down to dirt. When he rebuilt it he added more floor joists to support the floor and concrete board over the new subfloor as well as tar paper to seal the whole thing. It's the most stable floor in the house. James worked tirelessly, he was at the jobsite at least 8+ hours a day, plus purchasing materials and dumping the waste at night. When it finally came time to lay the tile and James brought a helper in. The tile looks fantastic and I am happy to know that there is no more mold hidden in the floor. James left the jobsite clean and clear at the end of each day and at the end of the project, some contractors rush that part of the job. The rates were more than reasonable considering the hidden damage and repairs that had to be done. He even put up with my mom watching him and asking a million questions. We are very pleased with the quality of the work.
David and Anthony did a very good job rebuilding my balcony deck and rail and repairing my wood fence.
Kevin has done many projects for me at my two homes in the last 5+ years. They have included replacing fencing, large are of railing on my deck, misc. refinishing of chairs, front door, beam, installing grab bars in 3 bathrooms and 2 huge 24" high raised beds, 30" x 8'. The major project was designing and building a carport that we called a chateau. It turned out gorgeous and is one of the most beautiful structures in the neighborhood. Kevin has integrity and is focused on completing the project on time and w/o any problems. He is exacting and detailed orientated which I want in a contractor. I highly recommend Kevin Stephens!
CCIron worked with me to create a contemporary interior stair railing. Work was done in a timely manner and looks great. I definitely recommend CCIron for metal work
Noel was very professional and honest. He did a great job repairing my wrought iron fence.
Bruce is a true artist who pays special attention to details to make sure each creation is a piece of art. For years now, people have stopped in front of our home to photo the spectacular gate that Bruce meticulously built for us. Many other projects include a one-of-a-kind entry table to fit a curved wall, pedestal sink bases for our onyx bowls with ornate iron shelves to match, lovely wall sconces, and a beautiful side gate that matches the large entry gate. I would recommend Bruce for any special project to enhance your home.
Three wrought iron stands for a 6 tier bookcase. The work was completed on time and as designed. Great price. Aldo even met me in La Jolla to give me the pieces. Would recommend Zion Metals.
