I hired Jasper from My Apartment Is Better Than Yours. I think they did a terrific job at a very reasonable price. I'm really pleased that I decided to go with them. I had a number of unusual carpentry tasks to complete when I moved to my new place. The windows were old and the wood was irregular and moldy, so the wood around the antique glass panels needed to be replaced. I was told those windows hadn't been opened in 40 years, but now they work perfectly and you'd never know the wood wasn't original. Also, several doorways lacked doors when I moved in, and were unusual rounded shapes cut into the stucco without doorframes. Jasper was able to make me custom doors with antique iron-wrought handles, and they look awesome. I also needed threshholds worked on, cabinets put up, new benches made for my roof deck, a custom projector and screen put in, antique chandeliers installed, a lock repaired... and I'm probably forgetting one or two things. They are in the process of putting the finishing touches on my humidor (they had to build me custom legs for it), and it's going to look spectacular. Anyway, they knocked it all out of the park. They were prompt and clean and didn't cause much of a disturbance despite all the work they were doing. They'll be my go-to for anything I need done in the future. I definitely recommend them.

Bogdan was able to come the next morning to help us with our faucet install and a minor deck repair. He identified a valve under the sink that also needed to be replaced and went out to grab the replacement part for us on the spot. He was on time, had great communication and did everything we asked!

My balcony repair job was done by Christopher Stein, a friendly gentleman with top professional carpentry skills, good scheduling and care of all the details. Great job and well done!!!

I cannot explain how grateful I am to have met Economy Home repair through this app. They were fast, friendly, and the service was impeccable. I had recently been working to restore a 1912 Craftsman style bungalow in Oakland, and then accepted a job in another state. Bad planning for me, but luckily I had Thumbtack and Economy Home Repair there for me. They we're first contracted to remove the aluminum siding that was wrapped around the house, then, we needed them to fix or replace any damaged shingles from the original siding, and then lay a coat of paint over it all! They got that done in a couple weeks!! Later on, I needed their help to finish up some tile work, and to put up some Sheetrock in the 2nd floor. They got that done with no hesitation. Again, I cannot be more grateful for that team. They deserve 100 stars.

Rosendo and his crew provided excellent work quality towards the bathroom repair. My shower walls needed to be replaced, so he kindly suggested to install granite walls that would last longer than the plastic walls that were there before. As a result, I was amazed at the completion and he has overachieved the expectations. I look forward to working with him for other house fixtures.

Ryan replaced some water damaged floor boards and a damaged porch posts and painted. Good work, timely and fair price. I have recommended to others and would work with him again.

This was an excellent experience. Henry made time for me as a last minute request and got the job done in less than three hours. I needed a tarp on a roof as a temporary fix against the impending big rains to stop a leak. It worked! And, best of all, he called me a week later to check on how the tarp was holding up! I will definitely call Henry the next time I need someone to repair anything around the property (And there's a lot to repair right now).

I recently work with WNH on a foundation repair job. My home inspector point out the expose rebar which can cause rust to deteriorate the foundation wall. Summary: On time, on budget, no surprises. Nobel Construction was recommended by our solar installer. (We also contacted Yelp-recommended roofers closer to Menlo Park, but they were booked a year out.) A representative came out when scheduled, showed us alternatives in our local area and generally took care of everything in a reasonable and timely manner. City permitting was 100% dealt with. After hearing all of our options we chose to have the roof repaired/restored with a fairly new product and procedure.....100% Silicone Roof Coating. It is a white reflective coating that looks great and has already saved us hundreds in our electricity bill right off the top. The product is warrantied for 50 years and was much less expensive than the other roofing options. The crew were polite and efficient. It's a noisy job, but they were respectful of the neighbors. We had no issues with communications, billing, or paperwork. The city inspector was happy with everything he saw and all in all it was a win-win!

He has alway had a very friendly and professional approach to all repairs and installations he has completed for me. The work was always neat and clean and was priced reasonably. He was always on time, and was very personable. I consider him now to be a friend.
