MacDaddy is my Superhero! My computer was a mess! Crashes, freezes, odd messages...etc That was before Pete Avila came to work on it. Pete did a great job of explaining what he thought was going on with my machine, as he was working on it. I am a long time Mac user but Pete was able to show me some new shortcuts and ways to keep my files organized. I will gladly recommend Pete to anyone who is having computer problems.

Ari is patient and funny, helpful in explaining about different options for data storage, and prioritizing what should come first in the Mac learning department. He helped me upload to iCloud the data that had my laptop all jammed up, for starters. Looking forward to more help so I can feel more proficient in understanding (and using better) my great new MacBook Pro.

Our son dropped our Mac Book Pro Laptop and cracked LED/screen. After talking with Cherif, we decided to move forward with repairs. His costs to repair were very good. What a pleasant surprise when we got our laptop back, it was in better condition than when we left it with him. He went the extra mile and cleaned the fan which was covered in dust, he cleaned keyboard. Also, he helped me to order a great case and keyboard cover. I would definitely recommend and we will use again. He has lots of experience and knowledge in other areas.

Chris set-up my printer to my new mac computer. He downloaded all the proper software and showed me how to scan& email documents. When I bought the printer I did not know I had to pay for a landline to get the wifi fax to work. Chris showed me a software company that I can pay a smaller fee and send faxes from home :) He was very friendly and got the job done. I highly recommend his service!

Thumbtack was so fast in finding me itechchimp! Awesome!! Thank you so much!! I was so stressed when, my MAC battery blew. I couldn't finish my job and my boss was upset and I thought I was screwed. It literally took 10 minutes to connect me to "ITechChimp" in Belmont approx 10minutes away from me! Unbelievable!! Sam was so fantastic! He did not take advantage of me (female & non-techy). I just really can not believe how well that situation turned out. I recommend Thumbtack to everyone. AND if you live in or near San Mateo, CA you have to try Sam at ITechChimp! He really knows computers, a genius!! You will not be disappointed!!

I talked to 3 pros and they ranged in price $35-50-70/hr. One wanted me to pay for travel. Another was going to send a sub-contractor. Sam was willing to tailor a tutoring session to help my 12 year old son with an html homework assignment. He started from scratch and taught him a lot of the foundational pieces he hadn't learned before. And, he provided a basic overview of how to work with a PC - from antivirus needs to asset management. I sat in on this since I'm a "MAC" user and I wanted to be able to help my kid with basic upkeep. Sam is clearly very experienced. He's a patient teacher (good with kids). I will probably hire him for help with excel, powerpoint, and other business & school applications. He was also on time and professional. I'd definitely recommend him to Thumbtack users.

Joel is very patient and so far a good teacher! I'm a beginner at this and Joel seems to have no problem with teaching a basic luddite. His rates are reasonable, and he is generally a very nice fellow.

Can’t recommend YeaMac enough. I needed our four macs at my office set up and upgraded. Zachary came same day, planned exactly what we needed and how to execute, and executed. He had knowledge on our design applications and how to back them up. Now after three hours, our macs are up to date, secure, and backing up to a local hard drive that we all can access, and a online cloud backup ready via BackBlaze. At $100/Hour you can beat the value. I’ve signed up for a bi-weekly “checkup” and suggest you to do the same. Thanks Zach!

Jeremy has been my personal instructor for the last few years and has helped me grow tremendously as a drummer. He was the first instructor I had who emphasized both rudiments/book learning AND learning by instinct/feel. He has also made his personal time available outside lessons to review videos of my performances and provide feedback. He has been both compassionate and demanding, and I recommend him highly to anyone who is serious about being a great drummer.
