David T. says, "Consulted with over 12 construction companies, and chose to go with Rose Remodeling & Design for our bathroom remodel because they were mid-range in price quote, and overall gave the best “first impression” during initial consultations. I just felt a good vibe from Adir from the very beginning - felt like he thoroughly addressed all my questions/concerns in a genuine non-pushy manner unlike many others who were clearly just sales people. We’ve had poor previous experiences with contractors, hence having to redo our bathroom after only 13 yrs due to an active leak in our shower. I was apprehensive initially due to the newness of the company (8 months), but from beginning to end Adir proved that his company is definitely 5 stars! (Company is new but they are licensed and all very experienced/have been doing construction for years). He was always very responsive and was in constant communication with me throughout the entire project. He gave superb design advice while being respectful of our own preferences/budget. His crew was AMAZING - they worked hard from sun up to sun down always with smiles on their faces. They were friendly, polite and most importantly highly skilled in their craft. Ignacio was very knowledgeable explaining issues uncovered during the project and what needed to be done to fix it. (There was rotted wood from our shower leak, plumbing issues, etc. - they fixed and replaced a lot with no additional cost!). Max’s tile work was perfection! Together they are a dream team! At the conclusion of the project, Adir brought in professional cleaners to ensure the home was spotless because I expressed concern over the dust (even though they did cover with plastic) since I have 2 small children. He really listens to his clients and provides individualized customer service. They completed the project in a timely manner with minimal disruptions to our daily lives. I wasn’t sure who to turn to, and found Adhemar and his company Bunnies Plumbing because of their stellar reviews. At first I was a bit skeptical as their reviews seemed too good to be true, but I reached out and received a response almost immediately. Scheduled an appointment with Adhemar to try and figure out the problem. Like a detective, he carefully looked at the evidence and inspected the scene. Determined the likely culprit and helped to replace the toilet. I was surprised that he didn’t charge me during the visit. He just shared his honest thoughts on what he would recommend. There was no upfront deductible on future repair work, just plain honest advice to help me as a homeowner. During the replacement and installation process, I was so impressed by how careful he was in terms of making sure everything not only worked perfectly, but looked perfectly. He did a thorough check both upstairs and downstairs afterwards, and even recommended an amazing drywall specialist who does incredible work. This was a two man job for caulking and painting wall joints all around the house. When painting the caulked joints the new paint is “always” slightly lighter. My instruction to them was to feather the paint out so it would blend in with the old existing paint. Technically they didn’t understand what “feathering the paint” meant. They also needed to use drop clothes. These guys are nice guys , willing and hard working. They need supervision and more experience hand painting. As Handymen give them a try for other projects. (Getting experience takes time.)

I hired this handyman for caulking in the bathrooms and living room, fixing a wooden floor bump, and installing towel and toilet holders. He stayed for two hours but only managed to install the bathroom holder and do very minimal caulking (one side of the baseboard in the living room and very little in the bathrooms). I asked him if he could work faster and complete the tasks, and he said he could, but he still left the work unfinished. His pace was extremely slow, and I eventually had to send him away. Because of this experience, I would not recommend him.
