Taqueria Cazadores catered a party for us, a school fundraiser for 70 parents. Showed up early, food ready on time, amazing reviews from the guests for the taco bar and especially the churros. Several of our guests were gluten-free and vegitarian...all were satisfied. We'll use them again.
We hired Dazzling Streaks for our high school prom. Manya is amazing! Very detailed oriented, on-time and delivered on everything she promised.
Linda and Leslie were exceptional day-of coordinators for our Labor Day 2016 wedding. Their organization, detail-orientation, and positive attitude were instrumental in the weeks leading up to the wedding and the day itself. With spreadsheets and all, they helped us nail down every little detail for our special day. We had our final pre-wedding meeting with them a few weeks before the event and came out of the meeting with a sense of relief and confidence we would not be worrying about logistics on our wedding day. On the actual day, there were many DIY items that had to be transported and arranged for the wedding, and their setup was exactly how we’d imagined, down to every last detail. They kept in touch with our wedding party and vendors during the day to make sure everyone was where they were supposed to be. Most importantly, Linda and Leslie were able to handle adversity with poise. After dinner was served at our outdoor wedding, the power went out. Linda and Leslie helped orchestrate the move of our wedding to a different location at the venue with incredible speed and diligence that our guests honestly thought it was part of the reception. Additionally, they helped us get extra time for dancing due to the lost time in moving locations. For people looking for wedding planners, I’d argue the ability to handle problems with efficiency and composure is of critical importance. Beyond their organization and execution, they were a pleasure to work with, and nice enough to share a few beautiful photos the day after the event. Robin is one of the most accomplished event planners and producers I've had the pleasure of working with. Over the 10+ years I've known and worked with Robin, I've been consistently impressed with the quality, creativity, thoughtfulness, and exceptional professionalism with which Robin plans and executes on events large and small. Pili Lani was recommended to us by a friend, but small world when I first met with Sheri, I realized I've known her since high school! Sherie put me at such ease when talking to her about our wedding, and it was clear that she would be on top of anything we needed on the day of. I was a bit hesitant to hire them at first, as they were out of budget, but they assured me it would be worth it. We chose to go with them for their month-to-day-of coordination package, where you do most of the planning then hand things off to them. Boy, were we glad we did hire them. Since our wedding was an all day event, with Vietnamese/Chinese ceremonies, 4 different locations, and a lot of DIY/hired myself vendors, having a day of coordinator that was not tied to any one venue was a must. Sherie and Evelyn really delivered, and they were by our sides throughout the day. There were a still snafoos here and there, but even those they responded to quickly and fixed immediately. I cannot thank them enough, and the hubby and I are always telling our friends that it's worth it to have people running things for you on your big day.
I first used KitchIt for a graduate school reunion dinner after a prior dinner had been more expensive then we liked and we had felt bad for staying so long. With KitchIt, we were able to have the restaurant experience in the comfort of our home without worrying how long we took. Since then I've used KitchIt for many social events and couldn't be more pleased. The chefs have all been very professional, the food has been delicious and they often leave the kitchen in a better state then when they arrived. For group events it's really easy to set up the event and have each person pay their portion. I highly recommend KitchIt for any type of occasion, even a weekday dinner with friends or family!
