Helen K. says, "Belicia teaches fitness dance (ballroom dance) and yoga dance classes at the Bay Club Redwood Shores. I took both of her classes back to back today and they were great! I’m moderately in shape and found the steps fun and do-able while still working up a sweat. The yoga class was very enjoyable with the music component emphasized. The stretching, balance work and light core building was a perfect finish class after her dance workout. I really love how Belicia is very clear and upbeat. Her voice is also soothing. I’ll definitely be taking both her classes on a regular basis. Thanks Belicia!"See more

I learned a new meditation technique that has a deeper, spiritual dimension than the one I first learned. Another tool that I learned include breathing exercises to either energize or calm down. And I can now identify those people, activities, thoughts and feelings that are uplifting or downward pulling. In her yoga classes at PJCC, I learned how to properly engage different parts of my body to avoid injuries. I went from 256 lbs to 190 lbs in about 6 months of training. The workouts were very intense but I felt a deep sense of accomplishment at the end of each session.
