Great service! I have struggled for years with keeping my space clean and organized and hired Michael to help me with an overhaul of two rooms in my apartment - including both a re-organization and redesign to make my space as relaxing, beautiful and easy to maintain as possible. Not only was Michael responsive, flexible and easy to work with, he was able to do it all on a budget, helping to scout affordable furniture and decor in addition to the legwork of coordinating deliveries etc as needed. In a matter of weeks he was able to get done what would have taken me literally years to do myself. I am very pleased with how my space turned out and would recommend him to anybody who needs a little help to reset and recharge your dwelling!

As a long time San Francisco real estate agent, my clients sometimes need help clearing out a home of a recently deceased relative, especially when my client lives on the other side of the country. Madison Kane has helped me in situations like this twice and each experience has been exemplary. Another client was so busy with his job he simply didn't have the time to organize and maintain his home. Madison did it for him and continues to help him on a monthly basis. Clearing out a house requires knowing where all the years of accumulated stuff goes; whether to the garbage or to recycling; to a charitable organization; determining if it is hazardous waste material and knowing where that has to go, etc. Madison not only knows where the stuff should go, she has the contacts necessary to get it there! She is an invaluable resource when it is necessary to organize a property to sell or to organize your home! I highly recommend her!

I had looked at 4 other cleaning services here on Thumbtack and 2 large "chain" services. I can only say great things about Karen Olsen. She was the first service to respond almost immediately to my cleaning request on thumbtack. My travel schedule sometimes is a bit overwhelming so I was more than happy when Karen for our first 2 weeks was willing to work through emails with me. When we talked on the phone it was as if I were talking to a freind that I had known for years. Karen then came to my apartment, gave it her walk through and simply put my mind even more at ease, Truth be told, I first worried about having someone in my apartment alone while I wasn't there. Karen had a great way of putting my mind at ease and while going room to room together and her sharing what she would do cleaning wise were the same things that I would do when I cleaned. We agreed to Karen doing "general" cleaning for me every second week for 4 hours. When I got home after Karen's first day at my apartment.............I was 100% satisfied with what she had done. EVERYTHING was cleaned to perfection and everyroom "smelled" great. Karen left me a note suggesting what she had done and again.......she surpassed all of my expectations. Leaving me the note when I know Karen could have just left without any communication, spoke volumes of her professionalism. Bottom line, scale of 1 to 10 have to give Karen a 10.

I have been using various cleaning services for years. I have very high standards. Luana was by far the most professional and organized . She was on time. She is very easy to communicate with. The best part, she actually enjoys the work and she is very good at it. She had to meet very specific requests to complete the deep cleaning. I had to leave while Luana was in the middle of it. Luana works very quietly and she is completely independent. I was surprised and delighted to find my home in absolutely pristine shape. She was meticulous and it shows in her work-product. Luana met and exceeded my very high expectations. I am asking her to come to help me maintain my home on a monthly basis.

I have had the pleasure of working with Emily Lewis on several occasions over the last few years. Emily has helped me with a wide range of organizing projects, from packing and unpacking for moving house, to purging and organizing my pre-teen daughter's room, to helping me get through a massive paper build up on my own desk. Emily is compassionate about the fact that mess happens, and seems to have a magical touch in clearing it up. Tasks that seemed daunting, are suddenly and seamlessly handled with ease. I was referred to Tamah Vega by an organizer out of San Francisco who spoke very highly of her. Tamah is in the east bay which made it convenient for me as I live in San Leandro. We hit it off immediately on the phone and got along great in person. She's easy going and has a great sense of humor. I was nervous about how she would work with me once we got to emotionally charged items. She NEVER made me get rid of things; rather she asked questions that helped me make decisions about whether or not I wanted to keep things. I have 25 years of accumulated stuff and although we're not done yet, my house feels so much better and I am much happier in it than I've been in years. After working with Tamah for awhile, I am able to organize better with all her tips. She makes recommendations for organizing and will research to find tools that work specifically for my needs. She can be as much or as little involved as I want and will give me homework, so I can work at my own pace. Tamah is a wealth of information and has a fantastic website which is a great tool for re-cycling (rather than throwing out) what you don't need. I highly recommend her - whether you have a small or a large project, whether it's about paperwork or things or a combination of them. She moves at your pace in a gentle non-threatening way and is up to any job. Give her a call; it will be one of the best organizational decisions you make.

Monique has practical advice and wasn't precious about the process of decluttering like with Kon Mari, where you are supposed touch every item and decide if it brings you joy. I'm not knocking it, it's a beautiful concept if you have the time. Monique was able & willing to run with some organization & sorting while I worked, and then helped me make decisions and move on. We had 3 sessions and the last was focused on the kitchen & systems I can put in place to keep order around the house.

I am an advocate and Pro for Thumbtack and hired Kayla for my boyfriend to prepare his apartment before his family came to town. The tasks were vague to start, but she acted as our personal assistant for 3 days since we have extremely busy schedules. She organized his place, put items in storage, set up the guest bedroom, grocery shopped, and minitored the cleaner. She was able to check in 2 different flights for our visitors and manage their airport Uber pick ups remotely, as well as managing some personal emails. She was able to provide an array of dinner reservation options and book them. The special touches were noticed, such as; putting stemmed glasses for the white wine in the freezer, checking in on our hired cleaner, organizing closet space in the guest bedroom and setting up their Netflix. Kayla was trustworthy, asked the right questions, and was very efficient! It is definitely worth hiring a pro to take the stress off your plate when having visitors, will hire her again in a month before more company.

I can and will do general housecleaning, but I mostly specialize in projects that most maids or house cleaners will not do. I am a bit OCD, and pay a lot of attention to detail, so I'm best doing one or two projects at a time. I can clean out your fridge, polish furniture, do light gardening, general cleaning, some painting and decorating, but I'm best at organizing or reorganizing things like closets, rooms, desks, offices, garages, and etc. I'm a hard worker and will usually take on any task given and I will do my best.
