Great service! I have struggled for years with keeping my space clean and organized and hired Michael to help me with an overhaul of two rooms in my apartment - including both a re-organization and redesign to make my space as relaxing, beautiful and easy to maintain as possible. Not only was Michael responsive, flexible and easy to work with, he was able to do it all on a budget, helping to scout affordable furniture and decor in addition to the legwork of coordinating deliveries etc as needed. In a matter of weeks he was able to get done what would have taken me literally years to do myself. I am very pleased with how my space turned out and would recommend him to anybody who needs a little help to reset and recharge your dwelling!
I had looked at 4 other cleaning services here on Thumbtack and 2 large "chain" services. I can only say great things about Karen Olsen. She was the first service to respond almost immediately to my cleaning request on thumbtack. My travel schedule sometimes is a bit overwhelming so I was more than happy when Karen for our first 2 weeks was willing to work through emails with me. When we talked on the phone it was as if I were talking to a freind that I had known for years. Karen then came to my apartment, gave it her walk through and simply put my mind even more at ease, Truth be told, I first worried about having someone in my apartment alone while I wasn't there. Karen had a great way of putting my mind at ease and while going room to room together and her sharing what she would do cleaning wise were the same things that I would do when I cleaned. We agreed to Karen doing "general" cleaning for me every second week for 4 hours. When I got home after Karen's first day at my apartment.............I was 100% satisfied with what she had done. EVERYTHING was cleaned to perfection and everyroom "smelled" great. Karen left me a note suggesting what she had done and again.......she surpassed all of my expectations. Leaving me the note when I know Karen could have just left without any communication, spoke volumes of her professionalism. Bottom line, scale of 1 to 10 have to give Karen a 10.
I have been using various cleaning services for years. I have very high standards. Luana was by far the most professional and organized . She was on time. She is very easy to communicate with. The best part, she actually enjoys the work and she is very good at it. She had to meet very specific requests to complete the deep cleaning. I had to leave while Luana was in the middle of it. Luana works very quietly and she is completely independent. I was surprised and delighted to find my home in absolutely pristine shape. She was meticulous and it shows in her work-product. Luana met and exceeded my very high expectations. I am asking her to come to help me maintain my home on a monthly basis.

The first time she came to my home I could not be there and I was impressed at how she worked around my personal mess (papers, etc.) to get everything clean as well as organize my chaos. Jane is an angel is the true sense of the word. She is kind, caring and gentle in her approach. She is a certified Konmarie consultant. Only one of 13 in the US. Impressive, however that alone is not why she is a superstar. She is a teacher in the true sense of the word. This kind of work is challenging. For me, this is emotional as well as difficult. I am sentimental and have lost so many people close to me and some of the things I have are the things that were passed to me. These memories are hard to let go. Jane's methods helps you to pass them on to other family members or giving them away or recycling them, thanking the items for being a part of your life and then letting them go. It really helps.
