About

My daughter is learning drawing and painting from Deepa and it has been an amazing experience. She has gone from knowing nothing about lighting and perspective to being able to do realistic still lifes that shock my friends to see were drawn by an eight-year old. Highly recommend her class.

About

Ron was such a great artist. He arrived early, so we decided to have him start earlier than planned. We hired him for my son's 4th birthday party. The kids (and parents alike! ) loved it. Some went back for more than one drawing! Pictures were fantastic! Would most definitely hire him again. Highly recommend :)

About

I am a graduate of Ringling College of Art and Design of Sarasota, FL. I have been practicing drawing and painting since I was very young. I decided to attend this school to further progress in my field. There, I gained extensive knowledge of the practice of drawing and painting in various media and able to attain or warp realism with great control. I continue my practice nearly every day, and am currently working primarily in inked-line drawings. However, I am well-versed and still often enjoy painting in oils, watercolor, gouache, acrylic, and ink and drawing with pen, ink, pencil, charcoal, etc. I am interested in teaching anything, from the basics of drawing and painting to a more structural and advanced anatomical and landscape drawing and painting, or even more conceptual forms of drawing and painting building strong concepts for a body of work and using more unconventional materials. I have more examples of various kinds of work not included on my website. -Amy

About

I am an artist with my own gallery in San Francisco, and one of my art educations is art teaching, so I teach different classes: drawing, painting, etching, pastel, ink — you name it. I have been doing it all my life. I can do one-on-one classes or two to four students at a time. I teach at my studio in San Francisco at 3404 Balboa Street/35th Avenue. I arrange annual art shows for my students, and they get a lot of experience in creating their art, showing it, selling it, etc. My clients do not include the mayor of San Francisco, because I only teach talented, dedicated to art people; a mayor is a mayor. I teach both high-school children and adults. As I said, I choose my students according to their talent. Welcome to my studio!

About

Francisco Franco Studios offers ongoing drawing workshops. The purpose of these workshops are to provide the student with the knowledge of accurately representing light and form. These courses focuses on the study of and the means to render a convincing representation of a structurally viable form on a two- dimensional surface. This is done through a study of proportion, exploration of volumetric concepts in line, and by developing a deeper understanding and sensitivity to light and shade. Subsequently, one will also learn to use the graphic means and tools used to render the those forms in a realistic fashion.
