Lisa taught swimming lessons to my kids for 4 sessions and she is just phenomenal. Not only did they learn valuable swimming skills, sh was so patient and caring in teaching them. I couldn't recommend her more strongly.
My 3 year old loves the water, but it takes him rather long to warm up to new people. My husband and I were both incredibly surprised when we saw how well he concentrates during his lessons. He made such good progress and, more importantly, he has a lot of fun. When we take him to the pool to play now he is actually disappointed when Miss Joanna isn't there to teach him... You can tell that she has a lot of experience and passion for the sports and knows how to inspire even the little ones. I highly recommend her.
Jeff is great. On day one, there was a free session that allowed me to get an glimpse at the exercises and his training style. I really appreciated that because it allowed me to be more confident in my decision to commit. I've been training for a month with Jeff, taking his advice and direction, and everything has panned out exactly as he said it would. I don't see very many physical changes, but I feel a total difference in my body. I'm absolutely stronger than I was before I started training with him. I have more energy, I sleep better, and I am less lethargic than I was prior to training with him. I really enjoy Jeff's training style. He definitely will correct you if your technique is off, but he's very encouraging and really knows his client. He pay a lot of attention to body language, so he can always tell if I'm pushing myself too hard or too little in an exercise. He's great at adjusting your technique and pacing so that you get the most out of each exercise. I've had to change my sessions times one or twice because my schedule has been pretty hectic this January. Jeff was really easy to work with and we were always able to find a time and schedule that worked best for both of us. He truly cares about his clients and the overall betterment of his client's health. I would recommend Jeff to anyone who's just beginning to get into fitness or someone who's been active before and would like to get back to an active lifestyle with an accountability partner who understands your needs and will work just as hard as you to help you reach your goals.
I was able to take my swimming to a whole new level from lessons with Marc. Before I was muscling through the water and not manipulating my body to the best of my ability. With eight years of lessons I was able to achieve Olympic Trial cuts at a very young age, and later a scholarship to top Division I swim school. With out this private training, I would have been an average swimmer. With private training, I was able to take my swimming career to levels far beyond what I could have imagined. I recommend lessons with Marc because he offers top notch swimming knowledge and he utilizes many differentiated learning strategies to reach all types of learners. His background in teaching just proves his communication with his athletes is bar none.
I have been teaching private swim lessons for 12 years and have a deep passion for teaching others how to swim. I am very patient with my clients, yet know how to challenge them effectively in the water to help them improve their swimming skills more efficiently. Many adults that I teach need that time to build new neural pathways in their nervous system to achieve coordination and muscle memory if they are starting off as a non- swimmer with great fear of the water, so they need more time to adapt. People with no fear but need to learn proper technique take less time to learn, and children soak up new information like a sponge so their adaptability comes much easier than adults.
We love Ami so much. She took my terrified child and turned him into a terrific little swimmer. This was no small feet, since my son was terrified from a prior swim instructor, whose techniques made him so fearful of the water. I highly recommend Ami. She is a mom of a young boy and so she gets how important it is to connect and build trust in the water. Eric helped me increase strength and muscle mass, which I never imagined was possible. He was able to work around my back issues and work schedule. Before meeting him, I suffered from various back aches and pain. Through his exercise program and workout schedule, the aches and pain significantly decreased. He was able to work around meeting between the gym and pool. I am most grateful for him teaching me how to swim and getting me over my water fear. never thought I would ever learn how to swim! Robin is kind, patient and very knowledgable. I taught swimming for over a decade & my little one just refused to learn from me (despite being totally ready). My name is Monica Moskatow and I have been working as a professional dancer in LA for the last six years. I had never seen a personal trainer regularly because I had had some very bad experiences in the past with personal trainers. With my experience I had gone to a first session and was left the next few days without being able to even move or walk. In my line of work, even one day of immobility could cost me a job. I didnt feel like I had accomplished anything except destroying my muscles and having to take extra time off from working out just to be able to walk again. I felt after these experiences it was a waste of my time and of my money. I met Brian after telling him some concerns I was having with my back, hips, and flexibility. I wasnt even considering a personal trainer at the time. I was already in good shape but I wanted to become stronger and more tone without too much bulk. Also keeping my flexibility and improving it was very important to me. Brian gave me an overall assessment and worked out a personalized workout routine for me to follow. It consisted of resistance training, stretching, cardio, and strength workout training. I decided to give it a shot. Ive been training with Brian now for 6 months and I feel healthier than I have in such a long time. Hes improved my dancing in so many ways. I feel stronger, Im able to move faster, and it has definitely showed at auditions. Ive booked double the amount of auditions Ive gone on since working with Brian. I feel great after all of our workouts. Im happy and energized. Hes taught me how important self-myofascial release is. How my nutrition plays into my progress and how it can aid in my workouts. I trust Brian when it comes to my training. He isnt only knowledgeable about the body and training my specific needs, hes also a lot of fun to be around. Hes probably the most positive person Ive ever met. Everything he does is for the good of others and will put his clients first before himself. I would recommend for anyone considering Brian as a trainer to have faith in what he instructs. It will always be with your best interests in mind. Working out can seem hard and will not happen overnight. But if you have patience and a strong goal in mind for what you want for yourself and for your wellbeing, you will definitely see results after working with Brian.
I took TRX- and stretch classes with Louise. She's highly experienced and always good prepared. She teaches with a lot of engagement and gives good advices. Highly recommended.
Monica has taught multiple of my children how to swim. We keep going back to her year after year because she is so great with children and is an excellent swim instructor. She connects with the kids and they quickly trust her and love working with her. She's gentle but motivated, funny and patient, and truly cares about each of her students. We love her!!!
