We had Dan for our wedding first dance lessons. From the get-go, Dan had a very detailed, yet easy to follow instructions. We don't have any dancing background, yet he put so much trust in us to perform some amazing moves and created a unique routine. Everyone at our wedding were thoroughly impressed with our dance. Thank you Dan!

I don't recall now how I found Desiree but I'm so glad I did! My fiancee did NOT want to do a choreographed wedding dance, but I wanted to have at least part of the dance memorized so we knew when the transitions and dips were. We had a few lessons with Desiree, perhaps at least 5, and Desiree was super welcoming, friendly, and easy to work with. We easily got along with her, which made being her students that much easier. We had a say into how the dance would look like and she styled it with an expert's eye. My fiancee and I had taken salsa classes at CCSF so we were a little bit better than beginners. She took what the moves that he knew and worked with it. We had picked a song we both liked but it had faster beginning so she taught us Bachata and transitioned into Salsa. She also edited the song for us so that the DJ could pay the clip at the wedding. During our class, she took videos with us so that we could watch it later and see how we could improve. She also helped us with the entrance into the room and the ending. I would definitely recommend her!

Daniel is so great. We took beginner's salsa lessons. Daniel is a consummate professional - reliable, communicative, knowledgeable, patient, good-natured, flexible, funny, and versatile. He was equally good at explaining things to me in dance terms and to my (beginner) boyfriend using analogies that felt more accessible to him. We made a surprising amount of progress in a short time, and Daniel was super understanding when we barely practiced between lessons, helping us catch back up and still make progress every lesson. Daniel is also just a really chivalrous person and really brings the politesse of being a good dance partner into the lesson. Highly recommend getting a package of lessons with Daniel. It's a good value and those extra few lessons can take you from just-the-basics to having a reasonable set of moves that you can build on and improvise from.

Caterina is an outstanding personal trainer. She adapts each training session to my capabilities and goals. She is very encouraging and motivating, which pushes me to surpass my expectations. She incorporates her dance experience to make the workouts fun and challenging. She has adapted exercises to improve my balance and stability. She is a delightful trainer to work with. I look forward to each training session.

My girlfriend and I signed up for swing dance lessons after taking a number of group classes and feeling like we reached the limit of what we could learn alone. Eliott watched us dance briefly and already had specific suggestions for how to improve. He had a great style of explaining *why* a certain technique was going to be easier, and had concrete advice for how to improve it (e.g. instead of "your leads aren't clear enough", it was "keep your elbow closer to your side"). He was very friendly, and I felt like I had improved a ton after only a few months of weekly lessons.

Private lessons with Jeremy are always fun (he was our teacher for over two years). He has a one-of-a-kind talent for explaining dance moves and creating metaphors that help you "get" the technical and the performing aspects of the dance. His choreography, for leader and follower, is always creative and really captures the mood of each dance.

Taylor was an AMAZING dance instructor! We used her for our 1st dance for our wedding and could not have had a better experience. Taylor is an unbelievably skilled and patient instructor. We were complete beginners, yet with Taylor's expertise, ended up with a fantastic dance routine. Taylor's vision is fresh, fun, and unique and you will be left with anything but a typical wedding dance routine. We cannot recommend her enough!
