Jiri and crew were great. I had to quickly engage help to unload a moving truck in downtown San Francisco. Even though it was relatively last-minute and my window to get the job done was narrow, Jiri made it happen. Communicative. Responsive. On time. And pleasant to engage with in person.
I had a very easy time working with Larro's Moving Services. Ricardo (the manager) was able to provide me with a certificate of insurance for my building within 48 hours without any hassle. The movers, Miguel and Luis, were punctual, professional, and knew how to handle everything without bothering me at all. They were very careful and safe when loading my items into the truck and when moving it into my new apartment. 5 stars for the movers, would definitely use Larro's again.
Carlos & his team were outstanding. They showed up early, were very hard working and did a great job moving our 1800 square foot home. We had a hard couch that wouldn't fit through a door and without any hesitation they were able to lift this using a pulley system up through the upstairs balcony. I will use two friends movers again when I move for sure! Great guys.

Albion was great. After finding them on thumbtack I called and asked them about our planned move. They gave us an estimated time, talked through the things we could do to help, and said they'd be there at 10am on moving day. A week and a half later at 10am exactly they knocked on our door. The whole move went great, they moved our TV, a custom built computer and many other things we had trouble packing. It turns out they had to share an elevator at the new building, which slowed them down a bit. Had this not been the case I think their original estimate would have been spot on. Even with this slow down it wasn't that far off. On top of that their rates are very reasonable. Go with Albion.
The movers were all nice guys and they were pretty professional in protecting my furniture. I would use them again so long as they could provide a larger moving vehicle. They used a trailer towed by a van, which, despite several long discussions with the owner ended up being about 1.5 trips to get everything. Overall a great team just wish they had a larger truck.
We used Smart Move to move from the Bay Area to Sacramento and couldn't be more pleased with our experience. When they arrived (on time, I might add) we were given an estimate as to how many hours the job would take and they finished 1/2 hour earlier than anticipated. We had also packed our personal vehicles full of the more fragile items we owned, and they offered to help unload those items with the extra time remaining on the hour they were working. We had three movers- Johnny, Sergei and Mike. They all had great attitudes, followed our requests for loading certain items, handled our belongings with care, and were very efficient. Not one thing was broken or mishandled. We had each box labeled with colored tags for the rooms at our new place and they put all the boxes in the correct rooms, which made unpacking so much easier. They reassembled some of our furniture and placed the furniture where it belonged so that we wouldn't have to rearrange it later. We are so thankful to this crew for making this move the most efficient and smooth one we've had! This moving company was worth every penny and there was an hourly discount for paying in cash. Micaheal and Jason are two nice gentlemen with a very clean truck. They moved fast but still very carefully. Didn't make any scratch on my furnitures or walls. Great work! The price is also pretty good. With a little bit extra fee, they even handled the giant old sofa and other stuff for me.
Drew and Dan helped us load our truck for a move across the bay. They arrived promptly at 9am, carried our boxes and furniture down 3 flights of stairs, and strategically arranged the truck so things wouldn't fall or break. They wrapped big furniture like the couch in a blanket and shrinkwrap to protect it. And their rate was very reasonable/low. Recommend.

Main Movers was extremely professional and prompt from the move I contracted them from the Bay Area to Los Angeles. On-time and actually below the quote they gave us. They had a professional contract and were very efficient. I would highly recommend there service. They actually came out and inspected the house before moving us I had a very bad experience with a mover before these guys (A company called "A better Moving Solution") This other company was a complete FRAUD and there account was been taken down from Thumbtac. My mistake with a "A Better Moving Solution" was that I did not request a copy of there CA drivers license. If anyone ever tries to use a very small cut-rate organisation that does not use there own truck, make sure they send you a copy of there CA drivers license. If your looking at this Mr Deon Bell ... your a FRAUD who should be held criminally liable. He uses Rocket Lawyer for his on-line contract ... another mistake I mad was I did not do a reverse lookup of his IP address, it showed the contract was initiated in Modesto and not Sacramento like he claimed. Kudos to Thumbtrac for immediately deleting his account. He uses the name Deon Bell and his Burner phone number is 1-916-280-8074 ... He will try to go by another name so be careful. He also uses the following email address LAMDEONBELL@GMAIL.COM and one other phone number.

Hi, Tony at 6' is really a tall guy for moving home items and businesses items from one place to other. But his speciality is that he does this with passion, love, enthusiasm and not mearly as an avenue for earning a living or to make ends meet. He is a thinker mover. In any move there are standard items and some tricky items and especially if the place where you are moving is narrow and further has stairs. This was exactly the case when I moved to San Francisco city a few weeks ago. This is where Tony excelled. He moved my big new fridge, that the seller said their team can not move and install on to my second floor, useing his judgment and carpenter skills to remove 2 doors in the kitchen and put it in the place that I wanted. And all this service was with a smile and with no overcharging no haggling no fighting. I'm greatly loving his service and but for him I would have been forced to return the new fridge. I fully recommend him. Rudy
Nicolas was easy to work with, was not only on time, and was friendly. He and his other mover did a great job picking up furniture for me in another city, then brought it to me. They also helped me move furniture around after just moving in a week ago. I would definitely use them again.
Without a doubt the best moving service i have ever used. Getting the estimate took 10 minutes and the move finished within the estimate. 2br apartment with a flight of stairs to my new townhome. Highly recommend Ultimate Movers and definitely going to use their services for my next move.
The movers were very professional with moving my furniture with care and ease as they wrapped and protected my items. They were all so friendly and quick with there work.
Robert responded quickly when I called him, and we were able to work out timing and pricing through email and phone. We set a date for pick-up and they arrived on time and quickly loaded my stuff - despite a parked car blocking their most direct route. Arrived on time at my new location - again, communicating exact timing, etc. by text. They scoped out my storage unit, and calculated how to get everything in. I had lots of random delicate things, all of which arrived intact. Robert and his crew were careful and speedy. I would use them again in a heartbeat.
I just moved yesterday from Sacramento to San Francisco I chose northstar because of their great reviews and then yesterday morning Jason called me at 7 AM to let me know they would be here by 8 o’clock I was worried I didn’t have everything ready for them but once they got there I have never felt so relaxed about moving they completely took charge and had everything packed and organized in about two hours Jason was extremely professional and knew exactly what he was doing when I was signing the contract he explained everything thoroughly he quoted me a price that scared me a little but he assured me it would be less than the not to exceed, Driving to the city usually takes an hour so I was worried it would be a little more because it’s such a large large truck turns out Jason kept up with me quite well and we were there in no time I think about an hour or two to walk everything up four flights of stairs they were such troopers with our big stuff we had a large record player generator many weights refrigerator upright piano I can just tell you these guys are very strong that is actually an understatement when describing them I was amazed by the speediness some work ethic. We joked around and chatted a bit which made everything so calm and easy they were also careful with all of our belongings and I couldn’t thank them enough Jason gave me a total for everything materials included and trust me for the service I got I would’ve gladly paid double thank you Jason and Northstar moving for a wonderful experience.
