I'm not the greatest in writing reviews. All I can say, is that Stephen is great. He applies the correct pressures. I'm not in pain afterwards like othe massages I received in the past. Yet the "knots" and "kinks" are improved. My massages are excellent. I just want to take a nap afterwards! Stephen is the complete package I was looking for - wholistic, Reiki, yoga etc.
Veronique is an amazing teacher!! She is very patient and has a great understanding of what I need. She has a very unique teaching style and I love her lessons and always look forward for more.
I know bill from taking his yoga classes and have had one on one sessions with him as well. I highly recommend him for your fitness needs. Bill will take you to the next level with his encouragement and his tough as nails approach (sometimes)
I feel very lucky and blessed to have found Holly and Yoga Body Mind Fitness. She is a pleasure to work with and I am making progress on all my goals.
Such a dedicated and knowledgeable yoga teacher!!
I am so grateful to have found Apoorva More Yoga on Thumbtack. I was in need of private in-home yoga due to an acute case of Adrenaline Fatigue caused primarily by stress. Apoorva has taught me restorative poses and breathing exercises that have been helpful in relaxing me and reducing my stress level. I would highly recommend her for anyone desiring to develop or strengthen a yoga practice. Besides being kind, empathetic and nonjudgmental, she is very skilled in modeling and teaching yoga so that one can optimize the benefits. Under other circumstances, I would not have thought of private instruction, but now realize that I have gotten more out of my sessions with her than the various classes I have taken over the years.
For me, Ericka is one of those people that you feel fortunate when you cross paths with them in life. I met Ericka when she started teaching yoga at my company twice a week more than two years ago. She is easily relatable, down to earth and doesn't take her self too seriously - but she definitely knows her yoga. Our class is a great combo of folks who take yoga seriously and folks who are there for work yoga. I appreciate how she tries to tailor each class based on what types of ailments each of us have that day. But more than that, Ericka has been a friend and an awesome teacher for me personally, so if you have the chance to meet her and work with her - I would highly recommend it. Gabe
Mari is such an amazing trainer, yoga teacher, and health coach. She looks at the whole you, listens to you, and creates a program that will work with your life and your schedule. She is truly amazing!
Danelle was great! For a bridal shower, we did yoga before the formal shower. She and I did a quick call to talk through things before and she came ready with a bridal playlist. When she arrived, she made it a point to chat and get to know the bride and others. The yoga was both fun and light-hearted but everyone still got a lot out of it. We had a large range of folks including someone who is in courses to get her instructor license to others who have only done it once or twice as well as pregnant mothers. She was very attentive and great at providing options/adjustments for everyone as needed. It was a great time and everyone loved it!
Wow, Alia has made me realize why I as a beginner yoga student need individual lessons. I've tried group lessons of 20 ppl or more and yes the yoga videos. She was very thorough explaining/demonstrating breathing, posture, form and etc. Then as i attempted pose/breathing she would guide me to the balanced form at my level. It finally made sense and it actually worked! Now why only 4 stars? Well, Alia has moved from San Diego to San Francisco without me, her favorite student hehehe No worries she had referrals for other coaches and I will definitely see her when I visit SF.
I've taken Jackie's classes many times at a number of different studios in SF; each time I learn something new and leave with a good sweat! For me, it's the perfect combination of meditation, stretching, core workout and yoga flow.
I have been to a few of her yoga classes and I enjoyed the class and teaching style. She is humble and makes the experience very comfortable and is very thorough with her teaching instructions.
Personalized (for me a beginner) yoga in the comfort of my home. Natalia is super friendly, patient and seems to love to teach and talk about yoga. Highly recommended, even if you're new, like I am, to yoga.
Regina was amazing to work with! She immediately recognized things about my body that I've been struggling to identify for years. She gave me clear and specific tools that I can apply as I develop my own practice and attend other group classes. I highly recommend Regina to anyone looking for a more personalized introduction to yoga. I will be booking again with her very soon!
Stephanie is an excellent yoga teacher. She works well with beginners, as well as more advanced students. She is wonderful at sequencing her classes, moving you from one pose to another. Her feedback is invaluable. Sometimes, just a slight adjustment, can make all the difference. I highly recommend Stephanie!
Finding a yoga teacher is such a personal decision that I cannot really answer this question but I try my best to listen to what the client/student really wants to get out of this time so that we can meet this goal.
After many years of being a student of yoga practicing different styles I decided that I wanted to pursue teaching others what yoga is all about. Breathwork, Mindfulness, Alignment, and Awareness are the main keys to advancing into poses. I can teach most styles of yoga as well as incorporate a fusion of Pilates, even a Barre format that will burn fat and tone muscle can be offered to complement the yoga practice. Strength & Stretch are Equally Important. I'm a Level 2 Reiki Healer and will offer massage in Savasana. My experience has been diverse, from working with older women who need to alleviate stress as well as yogis who are practicing handstands, backbends, arm balances, etc. My personalized service will cater to where you are in your practice and I love to give homework!
I teach Hata, Vinyasa, Vasista Yoga, Pranayama, Transcendental and mindful meditation. I do pranic healing and meditation counseling. I take both group and private lessons.
I am an experienced and skillful teacher with a sharp eye for alignment and deep knowledge of anatomy and therapeutics. I use this to help you meet your needs and goals. I specialize in helping students get out of pain and improve functioning so they can do the things they love! Usually booked, I recently transplanted from Boston and am rebuilding my client list. Don't miss the opportunity to have one of Boston's senior teachers as *your* yoga teacher. I look forward to meeting you! // I also teach AcroYoga, a partner acrobatics practice. If you or you and a friend are interested in learning this fun, playful practice, be in touch.
I provide in-home nutrition consultations to improve eating habits and health as well as yoga lessons which give everybody an opportunity to learn respect for their own body. Classes will be focusing on teaching the different yoga poses to increase flexibility, strength and balance. Also, students will be learning breathing techniques to foster a mental peace and better concentration.
Using a holistic approach to yoga, I will help you connect with your true self, ground you in your body and your connection with the Earth, while opening you up to your true potential and the gifts the universe has to offer.
