I'm a songwriter and I need to up my game to be able to hang with co-writers who are more advanced musically, and I also have the goal to play out at writers rounds and open mics and I need to get a little more proficient for that. We're playing acoustic. We've done both Skype and in-person lessons. Highly recommended. Good location. Update: I recently joined his Guitar Mastery Apprenticeship program, and it is fantastic. Wish I joined earlier. I want to make a living out of my passion playing guitar and Ahmad said he can help. He did! 3 month into the program I am making more than $10k/month from performing and publishing songs. Next month is on pace to beat that amount! I like and appreciate Ahmad!"See more

Well my buddy suggested I give Steve a try and I quickly signed up for a trial lesson. Fast forward to now and I have been taking bass lessons from Steve for more than a year and what's more, my 7 year old son has joined us in taking guitar lessons. Steve is phenomenal ! He's not only a great musician himself but he makes learning the guitar/bass fun and molds his classes according to what works best for you ! His methods are really good and that makes it easy for us, dad and son, to not only pick up techniques faster but also get a grasp on music theory faster. My daughter started guitar lessons with Matt at the start of the pandemic and it’s been a wonderful experience for her. We never felt the lack of in person teaching as Matt does a splendid job as a remote teacher. He sends videos, links to new chords and introduces her to classical and contemporary notes. He has plenty of patience and his charges are quite reasonable for the quality of lessons. My daughter looks forward to her lessons and has learnt a lot in theory which she is able to apply to piano and vocal lessons as well. I would definitely recommend Matt for guitar lessons !
