Latest Review: My son has been taking music lessons from Ms. Plasencia for 3 years now. He is learning to play the piano and violin. We rent a violin from Ms. Plasencia which makes things very convenient. Jonah has always loved music and he enjoys learning to play new songs. Ms. Plasencia has a wonderful way of working with kids. She is very patient and knows just how far she can push my son but still keep his love of music alive and well! I am so glad we found Ms. Plasencia!

Latest Review: We have had the pleasure of taking piano lessons from Wendy since 2009 and are still going strong. I have seen my two children flourish under her. She tailors each lesson and makes learning fun. Very positive, with just the right amount of pressure so that they progress but still enjoy what they are doing.

Latest Review: Jessica has been incredible. She teaches several of our students and has done awesome as a Piano teacher by helping our students learn how to play a new instrument. The students who were hesitant to take piano classes for the first time, came out of the first class with a BIG smile on their face with a lot of enthusiasm. Parents' comments have been positive. They love to hear their child practice at home. In their own words "It creates an atmosphere of joy in the house when my student is practices the piano" I highly recommend Jessica and Da Capo Music School

Latest Review: I have 2 daughters, ages 6 & 9, who are currently taking piano lessons with David Schuman. My children are enjoying their lessons, mainly because he LISTENS to them. He lets them choose the music they want to work on and play. He has introduced them to classical music and piano blues, which my girls love! With his knowledge, experience and passion for music, I know my girls will continue to appreciate, learn, and have fun on the piano. =)

Latest Review: Greg is a highly experienced and extremely conscientious teacher. He has extensive experience teaching all levels of students, from beginners like myself to those who have played for a number of years. He takes his teaching seriously, and has the ability to identify specific areas where a student is weak and tailor his teaching to strengthen those areas. He is quite reliable, and is flexible enough in in his teaching methods to listen to his students and adjust his teaching techniques accordingly. I have taken lessons from Greg for nearly a year, and plan to continue those lessons indefinitely.

Latest Review: My experience with Ms. Oliver was quite astute. Her understanding of music and piano repertoire certainly shows through her instruction and guide and gives a sense of security in that she knows exactly what she's talking about when teaching, which is a concern for older students such as myself. The most admirable qualities in my opinion are her kindness and temperament as she understands a frustrated student and has patience throughout difficult moments. Once that hump is passed, her discipline among students is inspiring to be under. Exactly what you need from a teacher as herself

Latest Review: I'm an adult learner with a little bit of musical experience with the trumpet and a busy working and family schedule, and I signed for lessons with Barbara to start learning to play the piano. She is a wonderful teacher. I attended one lesson per week for several months. She was patient and encouraging and attentive to my development in my study; she would adjust the pace of our lessons so that they were challenging enough that I pushed myself, but not so difficult that I felt discouraged. While learning short pieces, she made sure I focused on fundamentals such as tempo, finger placement, and form without the lesson becoming a chore, the way high school music lessons often felt. She is also quite a fun person to be around and light hearted and so our 45 minute sessions often flew by too quickly and I often wish I could stay longer. My work schedule became too busy for me to dedicate the amount of time I felt I needed for my musical learning, so I had to put them on pause. I hope to have Barbara again as my piano teacher as soon as time permits.
