As a result of a recent visit to my doctor about changing my lifestyle, I have decided to take control of my health. In the end, I realized I could not do it alone and asked for help without shame. As a result, I went on the hunt for a Personal Trainer who could motivate me to reach my goals. My search led me to the Jaycromero Fitness location here in Long Beach! The fact that he specialized in fat loss, muscle building, strength training, and more was the most appealing feature for me. A consultation and assessment of your fitness are included with all new inquiries so Jay and you can come up with a plan. Parking: Near the gym, there is a free parking lot on 5th and Pine that offers two-hour parking for free. Considering a session lasts about 45 minutes to an hour, parking is never a problem, and the parking lot is usually empty. Gym: The gym is called Self Made and it is located in downtown Long Beach. Gyms can be intimidating at first, but one thing I like about them is that everyone is there with their trainer helping them make their goals a reality, and removing the intimidation that comes with being new. Fitness equipment in the gym includes resistance bands, treadmills, free weights, battle ropes, rowing machines, and even a boxing ring. You'd be surprised at how much more they have than you think. To make it even better, if you are working with a trainer, you do not need to pay for gym memberships. All you need to pay for is Jay's training services! Ignorant on how to eat healthy and exercise regularly Tammy took me under her wing and help me lose 57 lbs. Tammy is very loving and compassionate person, she genuinely cares about you as a person and the goals you set for yourself in regards to health, fitness and weight loss. I thought a personal trainer was suppose to mean, yell at you, make you not want to go to the gym and work out. Tammy is the complete opposite, I looked forward to our training sessions, it was like therapy for me any stress or frustration I had I got to take it out on my workout while talking to Tammy. However, if Tammy saw that I might be holding back or slacking she would make sure I was good and sore the next day by pushing me harder and yelling in my face lol.
