"I have a Master of Music in Vocal Pedagogy and over 10 years of music teaching experience. I teach private and small group lessons in voice, piano, and music theory/musicianship.
I work with voice students of all ages and skill levels, in a variety of musical styles including pop, rock, musical theater, and classical/opera. I also teach beginning to intermediate level piano, as well as music theory and sight-singing.
My teaching style is warm, positive, and patient. I work well with younger kids, teens, and adults. I expect my students to work hard and push themselves, but I also believe that making music should be fun.
*NOTE: my home studio is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible.
I also have a dog (who stays outside during lessons), so students with severe dog allergies may not be comfortable at my house— but I do vacuum frequently and have an air purifier in the music room.
Helping people find their voice makes me incredibly happy. I have always loved music and singing, and watching my students learn and grow is incredibly rewarding. I get along well with students of all ages, kids and adults! "
