David is a great trainer. I have had other trainers in the past, however David had far exceeded those and my current expectation. He provides not only the knowledge and experience to fit your goals whether it be powerlifting, fat loss, bodybuilding, or other pyhsical goals you may have. He also gives you vital information and explains to you the process in which to reach your goals, giving you a better understanding of how to get where you want to be. Our training sessions are always motivating, challenging, effective, and fun. He is a genuine good person and awesome trainer. From nutrition to exercise he can provide you and all around service to meet what you are looking for in a personal trainer. I went from 24.5 percent body fat to 18 in a matter of 3 weeks. Due to his knowledge in nutrition and effective and efficient workouts. I'm still in progress with reaching my goal, however he has made my approach the most efficient and satisfying I have ever had.
Aaron is an amazing trainer. He is very knowledgeable about fitness, health and healthy eating and lifestyle. Through training with him, I've lost 20+ pounds and hit fitness benchmarks that I never thought I could accomplish (like deadlifting 205 lbs). I've worked with two other trainers and Aaron has been the best all around trainer I've had. Aaron has helped me become more knowledgeable about health and fitness. With all these advertisements, products, diets and programs promising quick health results, Aaron has taught me the best practices for making lasting changes and how to be smart and critical of these mixed mainstream messages around health. I am so thankful to have him as a trainer. He has helped me develop goals and achieve them!
Kim was probably one of the best trainers I've ever had, she instilled that attitude in me that I'm the only one in control of how I shape my body and got me WANTING to come to the gym. She's honest and straightforward and wants nothing but the best for you! Highly recommend having her as a trainer for literally anyone!

Margo is a great personal trainer. He helped me get back to pre-baby body after 4 kids. Margo never gave up on me even when I wanted to quit on myself. He included a personal nutritional plan with my fitness training which none of the other personal trainers I've worked with provided. I highly recommend his services.
Michael was not my first personal trainer, it did not take me long to figure out that the others did not take me seriously! If you have a goal in mind, then Michael is the one for you, I went on thumbtack to find a personal trainer, I was desperate, I had to pass a PAT test to secure my job at the State, and i can say WITHOUT Michael I couldn't of passed! I gave him the information to pass with the time limits. This is where i saw what separates the Professional Trainer from the ordinary, Michael knew exactly what to target and he knew approx. how long it would take. I was skeptical at first but he was right-on! If you are willing to work, Michael will be there with you every step of the way, his pricing is reasonable, I had no problem paying because of the results I was seeing!! You might find "Cheaper" but remember "you get what you pay for". I have been with Michael for 7 months, I am doing things I didn't think i could do, he got this 52 year old lady motivated to live a healthier lifestyle. I intend to stay with him, and set new goals for myself. Michael also helped with the Nutritional side, (that was doable)!! I just can't say enough positive thing about my experience. I know this one thing, with my determination and Michael expertise I was able to secure the job at the State!!

At at Threshold Training Training Facility, this place is a second home, where likeminded people come to enjoy a fitness facility that meets the needs for anyone and everyone. All the trainers are intelligent, genuine and really care for their clients. I love this place, and glad to call it my gym!

I have been working with Lucy for about 6 weeks. I have a bad back and bad knees. Lucy will show me an exercise she wants me to do and think "that's going to hurt" and I am surprised it does not. Other times I start the exercise and even changing up the angle and it is still painful. Lucy knows when to stop and try something new just for me. She is surprised at times what I am capable of and others what I struggle to accomplish. She is learning my personal body and am grateful she is willing to take the time to listen to me and adjust my workout accordingly. I know the difference between pain and muscle soreness. After a workout I am grateful to be sore because I know that I have used muscles that have not moved or worked out in many years. I am also grateful I am not in pain, sometimes a trainer will push you so hard that they cause pain to their client, Lucy is conservative in her approach since she tends to work with an older clients. Lucy also is very good at reading people and always willing to offer a listening ear. She is like a BFF who always has something positive to say while still encouraging you to do your best. She is the perfect trainer for me!
Andrew is an awesome trainer to work with. He's very attentive to what needs to be done based on your concerns and wants. Love that he motivates me and am always looking forward to my next session with him. I highly recommend him.
Mario has had such a huge impact in my life not just in fitness but as a role model and as a guide to a better lifestyle. Over the past couple months I have seen an increase in my strength, endurance, fitness and happiness in general. When I hired Mario to guide me through my fitness, I knew I was signing up for a trainer, but I was and continue to be surprised to also have found a friend. He will push you to be better and congratulate you for even your smallest achievements. Marcos is an extremely knowledgeable and personable trainer. He is willing to work with you no matter what your fitness level. Each high intensity workout is designed with your fitness goals in mind. Most importantly he ensures you maintain proper form to avoid any injuries. Scheduling is never a problem, he is very understanding and flexible with his time. Every week I've seen the progress that I've made since the last. My waist size is down and I'm finally seeing some definition on my arms. I am a mom of 2 and I was really having a hard time finding time to work out. Vanessa has helped me by creating a workout plan I can do at home. She got me started on the online program which is so great! It shows me videos of the strength training exercises so I know exactly how to do them. She also meets with me once a week at the gym which has helped tremendously since I have never used weights before. The meal plan is also great, she is showing me what good foods to put into my diet to get the best results. Overall, I have really enjoyed my time with Vanessa she is always available and answers all of my crazy questions and her price is unbeatable. I really can't imagine training without her.
I absolutely love Blackshear Fitness!!! They have the best trainers in town. I have been a part of this family for a little over 3 years. I drive about 25 minutes each way just to attend the boot camp classes. They have always pushed me to do my best and challenge me every single time. Classes are available 5 days per week at no extra cost. They are truly the best!
One of the best trainers I have had! I was sore for days with one of her workouts, which was amazing! I love the way that Janet knows what she is talking about when it comes to fitness and how she knows modifications for every workout. I definitely love the way she trains and also understands when a break is needed and doesn't push you past the limit! She is great at helping others gain and see their results! Absolutely my main girl right here!!! Thank you bunches for all the great workouts you've put me through so far! I'd definitely make her my trainer as well if I were you! :)
The best trainer I have ever had. Punctual, full of energy, personable, and he demonstrated a deep understanding of the importance of technique, form, and pace. The results have been amazing. The only downside to Jason is his vegan diet lol! In all seriousness, this is the guy to hire for your fitness and nutritional needs! He teaches you the lifestyle you need to achieve your desired result.
Josh is one of the best trainers I have ever had. I was weary about powerlifting and never thought I’d be able to do it, but Josh has not only helped me learn the techniques but has helped me gain the confidence. By far the best thing that has happened to me and I look forward going to the gym every day.
