OJ is 1 of the best personal trainers I've ever come into contact with. For starters, your initial meeting is a workout created to personalize your strengths and weaknesses for future sessions. Afterwards, he speaks with you regarding your target goals, time frame, ideal weight etc. Meanwhile, he's compiling a special profile just for you in his computer. He sends weekly updates on your progress like: body fat percentage and weight loss/gain. In addition, he also sends motivational text messages during the week. When I first decided to start working out with a personal trainer, I looked online for personal trainers in Pasadena. I ultimately decided to go with Hugo based on all of the positive reviews I read of him on here. Since the reviews initially helped me make a decision on choosing Hugo as my personal trainer, I just had to leave my own review. Before committing to train with Hugo, he offered me an introductory deal so that I could experience working out with him. The first couple sessions he evaluated my strength, endurance, and overall physical ability. Once my fitness level and goals were established, Hugo set up a training program and nutritional plan for me. He begins every session by explaining and demonstrating the exercises in the circuit. He also clarifies and demonstrates the importance of proper form, which makes it really easy for me since I'm a visual learner. At any point during the exercise if I forget to use proper form, Hugo reminds me and encourages me throughout. He is very good at helping me understand which muscles each exercise is working out. I like how during every session, he is focused, patient, and motivates me to make sure I'm giving it my all. His professionalism and friendliness make it all that much more of a positive experience training with him. I've been training with Hugo for about three months now, and I can say that I'm truly happy with my results so far. My strength and endurance have greatly increased since our first session. I've noticed my body fat decrease and my muscle mass increase. I also feel much better when I'm exercising and eating healthy, it has greatly helped with my anxiety. I definitely plan on continuing to train with Hugo. I'm excited to see how my fitness level and physique continue to progress. I'm glad that I chose Hugo as my personal trainer, it is obvious that he loves what he does and cares about his clients. I have trained with Paul Harvey for 5+ years. I have been working with various trainers for 15 years total, and had never found one who understood my goals and knew how to achieve them. When I started with Paul I was 178 lbs. At 6'4" tall, that was very skinny. My goal was to put on lean muscle. I've added about 30lbs of lean muscle and have a six pack. Paul advises me on how to achieve my goals both inside the gym and at home. He is a smart guy and can carry on a conversation about more than just working-out. I was introduced to Coach Hunter when my son was in the 8th grade. I was told that he was one of the best 1-on-1 coaches in the San Gabriel Valley. When we met Coach Hunter, my son had been a long time offensive lineman who had suddenly grew in height and lost a considerable amount of weight. As a result, my son was no going to be considered for the offensive line in high school. I asked Coach Hunter if he could convert my son into a wide receiver since he had decent hands and was 5' 11" in the 8th grade. To which he agreed to help Coach Hunter's rigorous workouts, his attention to detail and his customized training had an immediate impact on my son's performance. Within a short period of time, my son was not only competing as a wide receiver, he became a starting wide receiver at his high school. Due to the tremendous amount of success that we experienced so quickly, I promised Coach Eric that he would remain my son's personal trainer throughout high school. This year, my son achieved what only 2% of all high school football players achieve. My son received a full scholarship to play football for a Division 1 school as a wide receiver. For a kid who only has played wide receiver for four years, the odds of achieving such a feat is tremendous. We owe all of it to the work of Coach Hunter. Coach Hunter is a man dedicated to teaching the fundamentals of football. He has expert knowledge on both sides of the ball and has been a great mentor to my son, on and off of the field. Not to mention his rates are extremely reasonable and well worth it. I highly recommend Coach Hunter for any parent who is looking to have their child compete at the high school and college levels.

Aaron Valizan has been my brother, Shawn’s personal trainer and “life saver” for a couple years. Shawn was a NCAA two time Men's rings gymnastics champion, and was a personal trainer himself up until he had his 2 strokes. Shawn is only 55 years old. A few years ago, had two strokes which left him incompacitated and unable to: • Read • Remember anything • Walk on his own • Eat his meals without help • Make it to the bathroom • Remember where is living He has stayed at two Skilled Nursing Homes: San Marino Manor for 6 months Glendora Grand which is where Shawn has resided for two years. I decided that Shawn needed someone who could relate to his background and understand his illness and physical handicaps. It was very difficult for Shawn because he did have a vague memory of being a PT and thought he still had clients that he worked out with. I started researching Personal Trainers in his area and found Aaron Valizan. He was highly recommended, and I also found out he had 10 years of nursing experience in the hospital setting, so I set up a time for him to come out to Glendora Grand convalescent home to meet Shawn. They hit it off right away. Shawn was actually smiling for the first time in years. I started booking their appointments. Shawn showed progress after only a few weeks. Then, Shawn caught MRSA, which is a highly contagious disease. He was transported to Inter Community Hospital where he was put into an isolated department with a private room. Aaron visited Shawn (wearing scrubs, gloves and booties to protect him from contracting the disease). He immediately lifted Shawn’s morale which in turn got him to start to eat. The hospital staff was really impressed with how well he worked with Shawn. Aaron started organizing some training sessions for Shawn for when he returned to Glendora Grand. Within one month, he had Shawn out of the wheel chair and walking on his own (Shawn’s disease was gone). Every time Aaron walked into Shawn’s room, his fact lit up and he was ready to “go work out”. When Shawn was feeling better, Aaron decided to sign him up at a local gym, giving Shawn a lot more to look forward to do. His symptoms improved on a regular basis. He remembered that he had appointments at a gym and could not wait to go. I could not be more happy! Today, Shawn has improved on a regular basis. Aaron has kept up their appointments at the gym and coming by to work with him at Glendora Grand. Shawn looks forward to every appointment. Honestly, I have been so impressed with Aaron and thrilled with the amount of time and patience he takes to work with Shawn. I think we are beginning to see “The Light at The End of the Tunnel” and hope that Shawn will improve on a regular basis. I cannot thank Aaron enough for all that he has done for my brother. LivePhysical Fitness is the second best find I have made on the internet, right behind my fiancé. I was looking for what I thought would be the impossible: a personal trainer that would be able to work with my injuries that affect nearly my entire right side of my body. Steve totally rocks!!!! I went with the stereotypical, "I've gotta look good for my high school reunion" and Steve helped me accomplish that. I really struggled with my motivation, getting up off the couch, and getting into the gym. I want to let each of you know what my experience has been with Dan. I turn 59 this year and I have worked out with a number of trainers over the years. I call them counters because that’s all they did for me. They counted and I did all the work…no results! Then I met Dan in January of this year. I did the genetics testing as he recommended. Once I received the results he explained to me what the results meant and what I needed to do to get in better shape. From nutrition and cardio to weight training, he has guided me along the way. We started training three days a week. He taught me how to box as a cardio routine. Never thought I would get it, but with his patience and guidance I am now boxing and loving it… GREAT CARDIO!!! Phil is the perfect trainer if you're looking for someone who: Focuses on fitness and health as well as looking good. Is excellent at assessing the best workout for you according to what you want. Jim is an excellent trainer. He has great rapport, and he's very creative and inventive in coming up with ways to build muscle and core strength and stamina . So far we've met three times, and I feel 100% better already - fatigued but with a feeling of accomplishment. I actually look forward to each workout because I know Jim will help me meet my goals. What I like about Jim the best, though, is something he does after the workout. He just texts a word of encouragement or a thumbs up or a note on how I did. I was referred to Ryan through a mutual friend and took him up on his strength training program. I was not disappointed! Ryan was very professional and fun to be around. Some trainers can be all business and boring, but he was easy to talk to and made the few months I worked with him enjoyable. The great thing about the way he trains is that he understands your goals aren't the same as everyone else's, he tailors the program to your specific needs. Also, not only is he knowledgable with weight training, but he understands diet and nutrition as well. I needed a lot of help in that department and was able to come out of the experience with knowledge to take with me for the rest of my life. The results? In just a few months I was able to (finally) add some size to my chest and arms, as well as come down from a 34 waist to a 32. I don't know about you, but that's a win for me! Overall, I definitely feel I got what I paid for and would absolutely recommend him to others. Don't hesitate, give him a shot. You've got nothing to lose (except fat) and everything to gain (knowledge, energy, muscle)!!!

Honestly Robert is a great trainer. He will put in twice as much effort to help you accomplish your goals. He varies with his exercises to make it fun and entertaining. He knows how hard the work will be and willing to help you become the person you want to be. But most of he's very motivational, when you want to give up he won't let you. He will push you as far as your willing to go, but your next appointment he will challenge you to push yourself hard.

Robert is an excellent trainer! I told him what my fitness goals were and from the start we attacked. I've worked with trainers before and done a lot of variations of the same exercises but with Robert we took an approach that was new to me and I was feeling results right away. I would recommend Robert to anyone, if you are ready to commit to a workout and if you want real results from a knowledgeable trainer, Robert is your guy!
