Xavier is just what I needed! I wasn't ready to workout in a gym setting, so I Googled personal trainers that would come out to my home. One of the results was Thumbtack, so I filled out my needs and goals. I got 2 emails with trainers that could come to me and out of the 2 results, Xavier stood out. His many years of experience in the fitness industry sold me. Also reviews from clients showed me that he was no joke, the real deal! I have a few pieces of equipment at home already but he brings other equipment that we utilize. He has a positive attitude, he stresses not to get down on myself, very motivational and doesn't let me quit. I have a few imbalances in my body structure and he has been able to adapt/accommodate and we are working on them. I've had 8 sessions with him so far and plan to continue to work with him. I definitely recommend him!
Finding a personal trainer is easy, but finding one that you get along with is difficult. I have had hired different personal trainers in the past, but I never clicked with them. My past personal trainers were dry and not present. As for Harold, he gives his full attention on your form and execution. He even informs you which muscles you're suppose to be using, so you are aware that you're using the right muscles. He's very knowledgeable of nutrition and body mechanics. I definitely enjoy working with him!
I have worked out with Azz for over ten years both individually and in his classes. He is extremely knowledgeable about physiology and fitness and with his vast experience he has an enormous repetoire of exercises. He is brilliant at customizing your workout and keeping it interesting and challenging. He is warm and encouraging and knows just how to push when I just think I can't push myself. I unequivocally recommend him as a personal trainer.
Sean has been and continues to be a great trainer! Always on time and professional he's helped me achieve multiple fitness goals. Throughout the weeks he's created a variation of exercises that keeps our sessions fun and invigorating. I look forward to achieving more fitness goals with him.
Lacey is a great personal trainer. Her workouts challenge me to do things I didn't think I could, and she also makes the workouts fun.
Mary has been one of my best ballet teachers over the past 15 years. Most of her excellent qualities should cross over to teaching yoga. Mary is fun, energetic and positive in her interactions with students. She mixes her corrections with plenty of praise. The student feels Mary is collaborating with the student to achieve improvement. Mary isolates movements that need work and develops her own exercises separate from traditional ballet exercises. She outlines her goals in the exercises for individual students so the student can focus. She will say, for example, "Don't worry about your arms now. Reach with your feet. We'll get to your arms later." You will never regret working with Mary if you are so lucky.
Jessica Dickson is exactly the kind of personal trainer to help people comfortably and positively achieve their fitness goals. I've always been intimidated by having a trainer. After working with Jessica, I think I have changed my mind. She gives suggestions before, after, and during workouts, but quickly explains her rationale without impeding motivation. Lisa is the most understanding and amazing person. She really knows what you need for training and pushes you to your full potential. Sometimes when I think I can't do something or I am not confident in myself, she assesses how it is affecting me, corrects any issues and makes any modifications to insure that what I am doing is right for my body. She has dealt with multiple body issues that I have and has helped me work through them without hurting myself. I am lucky to have found someone that I owe a lot of my inspiration to and I am so thankful Lisa is my trainer. She cares about your goals and helps you reach them with integrative techniques which benefit your entire wellbeing!
Are you looking for an excuse to buy a new wardrobe? After six months working with Michal you will need one. The combination of her background in personal training and Pilates, will not only improve your posture and body shape, but also drop you a size or so. Michal is fun to work with and always very encouraging and just the right level of energy to keep you going through a challenging workout. My personal experience with Michal has been great. I am a pretty big guy, 235 lbs, 6 tall. I regularly have people tell me I look 20 lbs. lighter than I actually am. This is a combination of the great shape my core is in, along with the improved posture from Pilates. So go see Michal and start thinking about that new wardrobe. -Patrick R.
I have been training with Michaela now for about a year and a half at Custom Health and Fitness in Napa. We are focusing on core and upper body strength. Michaela is fun yet firm to have as a personal trainer. She actively listens to me, encourages me and will push me when I need it. I have visual results in my muscle definition, increased strength in my arms and proven core improvements resulting in greater activity from my bi-weekly sessions with Michaela. Shawn is great trainer and her adventure coaching really makes her offering unique. She will take you for bike rides, trail runs, and even surfing.
Jenna is an excellent personal trainer and health coach. She really takes time to get to know you and plan a program around your abilities and goals. I really wanted to get a hard core program and sweat my butt off. That's what I got and I have never been so sore the day after. The workout was fun and the tips she gives on nutrition are practical and delicious!
