Mike (midnight writer) was awesome from start to finish. I needed a resume for internships and came across his website Saturday afternoon, and had a quality finished product by Monday morning. Mike called me at the scheduled time, sent emails with any questions & suggestions he had. The whole experience was great. I will definitely recommend Mike (midnight writer) to others.

Better writing brought to you by better editing. Editoro! doesn't pull any punches on story development, manuscript improvements and being there for the writer. Sometimes just kicking butt is the best strategy to get the character, plot, story, and yes, the writer going. They kick butt. Recommended editing services.

After seeing several books that Amie Hill has edited in our local bookstore, I asked her to review a memoir I'm working on. She provided excellent line editing and also provided some developmental ideas. While I'm still working on my book, I do recommend her services. She's both skillful and gentle and I believe other writers will find her editing enhances their work.

Wendy Gittleson was an excellent editor to work with. She knew before I did when an idea wouldn't work, she fixed those things that needed fixing, but mostly she knew "when it's not broke, don't fix it." Deadlines were consistently met. Oh yeah, she's a fine writer herself.

Marian is one of the most ambitious, proactive and provocative writers I've ever had the pleasure to work with. While writing for DBW, she did a great job of eliciting valuable insights from industry thought leaders, identifying worthwhile new media opportunities for authors, and walking the walk when it comes to social media. Don't be fooled by her age; she's smart beyond her years.

Ellie Schamber mentored me through my graduate prerequisite courses in Psychology as well as my Ph.D. dissertation. She also edited many of my papers and the dissertation. Ellie is a very good writer, and she did an excellent job of both guiding me and editing the manuscript. The dissertation was approved and praised by the academic dean for its writing as well as the content. We are now collaborating on a book, and I am very pleased with her ability to understand abstract ideas and articulate them clearly. Ellie always came on time, over the period of several years, and provided me with the highest quality work.

Katie helped me so much in high school with writing- both for school and for creative purposes. With her helpful instruction, I was able to move past writer's block and actually write what I meant rather than get stuck in word choice or syntax, which she also helped me with during editing instruction. Katie was invaluable during my high school experience and without her, I would not have been able to succeed in college or have been able to write coherent and passionate application essays. She's also great at research and when I was assigned huge research projects for AP U.S. History or even for Spanish class, she was able to help me use library databases and archives to find primary source material.

About

I am mostly a writer, but I am also a double or triple bottom line business creator. I develop new and exciting ideas for highly innovative, socially responsible projects. Check out what I'm doing with Green Gold, which is the first ever book on pairing honeys and cheeses, but be prepared; this is not just a cookbook... it is about food and community empowerment, in its own way like my Nickel-a-Meal website campaign against obesity. Food is the next great equalizer of community involvement, and I bring that message home.

About

I specialize in narrative editing, consulting and writing. At all levels of professional communication, imparting ideas through story is most effective. It draws people in and keeps them focused on what you have to say.

About

If you're looking for a strong writer and editor who's creative but also meets his deadlines, let's talk. My area of content expertise is Corporate Responsibility (CR)/sustainability. I do this work for large corporate clients; much of my writing and editing goes into annual CR reports. But I'm also a versatile researcher, writer and editor. I've written eveything from feature articles to strategic recommendations for the U.S. State Dept. to a pair of political- environmental novels* that drew excellent reviews in the New York Times and People magazine ("Page Turner of the Week"), among others. I have also written corporate communications and marketing copy including web content, press releases, executive addresses, brochures and FAQs. As an editor, I love working with a document to discover the concise, clear narrative it contains. During the last year I've edited long CR reports for clarity, content and tone as well as for typos and grammar. I'm a big fan of the AP Style Guide, with a few exceptions. Finally, I'm pretty good to work with. I practice active listening, and can work independently or in close collaboration with a client. Please see my website for more information and examples of my writing - then give me a call! Steve *Black Leopard, In a High and Lonely Place
