The contractor correctly diagnosed that the reason my gutters were leaking is the drip edge was on the top of the underlayment and the underlayment needed to be on top of the drip edge. He was honest and told me the underlayment needed to be fixed all the way around the roof and he didn't have time that day so he charged me a reduced rate for just doing the inspection. I contacted my roofing company and they sent someone out to fix it at no cost to me so I was very happy to benefit from the contractors expertise! The contractor was late to our appointment though otherwise I would have given him 5 stars.
I originally hired KMA to do some work on my gutters, but it ended up that the job required a contractor. He was very gracious and actually came out two times to verify if he could do it, and did not bill me. I found this to be very honest and refreshing.
I hired David for a few projects last summer when we were doing a bunch of updating. First he extended our gas line to the kitchen for our new gas range. He also replaced the A/C and then installed a new sink for us as well. His team was great--very friendly, professional and considerate. Some contractors seem like they want to get it done and get out, but they were obviously invested in doing it right and they responded to every special request we made. When the range didn't quite fit the gas line, David even came back to adjust it and did not charge for it. And he stayed in touch with me to make sure we got the A/C warranty stuff done right. I'll contact him again when we need help.
After interviewing several contractors for a master bathroom remodel, I decided on Beyond Boundaries Construction to do the work. I was confident that Forest Ponder could handle the job and had the integrity to see the project through to the end. My client's home was built in the early 1900s and as a result, obstacles came up along the way. Forest handled them in a timely manner and was very communicative during the whole process. Forest was always available and we worked great together making design choices and thinking outside the box. I am very pleased at the transformation of this Master Bathroom and would highly recommend Beyond Boundaries Construction to handle your remodel needs. Thanks Forest for a job well done!
I contacted Mountaintop Construction out of the blue because my office was having communication issues with another small contractor for our small handyman needs around the office. Steve Petersen contacted me almost immediately and after seeing what quality work he does, as well as having excellent communication with us, I let Steve know that we would be using his company for all of our handyman needs in the future. Steve is honest with his pricing and he is able to accommodate any schedule. I would highly recommend Mountaintop Construction to anyone!
Our forty year old tri-level home was in need of plumbing updates and repairs in three bathrooms and the kitchen. The baths were completely remodeled. All work was done to strict local code and passed inspection with compliments from the city inspectors. Project was scheduled such that at least one bath was available at all times and with minimum disruption to home activities. Remodel was done to our plan, but with very helpful suggestions and advice from the contractor. Even with unexpected events and obstacles in the existing construction this project exceeded all expectations and significantly improved the appearance, livability and value of the property. The effort was done according to budget and the contractor had an exceptionally pleasing disposition and ethic which was rewarded with a monetary gratuity from us. I would absolutely highly recommend their services.
This contractor accepted this job as a remodel done wrong. It was slate natural stone which is difficult to work with. The contractors all did well & he found a leak from their her contractor which he fixed. They did a good job & you just have to monitor work regularly. A good crew!
Wed Aug 16, 8:18 PM If you’re contemplating hiring a good General Contractor, Daniel Gonzalez and his construction teams are your guys! We hired Daniel to finish 1,300 square feet including an extra bedroom, laundry area, storage room and quilt studio in our basement. Daniel gave a fair quote and he brought top notch teams and hard working guys to the project! His electrician did an excellent job installing all new electrical; and his HVAC guy ran new heat ducts and installed a whole house humidifier. The plumber ran new plumbing for a utility sink and washing machine. The framer did a fabulous job independently building our design to our exact specifications and even added decorative arches. The drywall guys hauled in heavy drywall sheets one-by-one because it wouldn’t fit into our window wells. The drywall installers got 4 rooms put up in one and ½ days! The tapers and texture's did an excellent job taping drywall seams and adding texture in less than two days for each team. Daniel’s crews showed up on time, they were respectful, trustworthy, and we appreciated how hard they all worked to get the job done in a timely manner. Daniel and his trim and paint team did an excellent job painting, installing our flooring, trim, doors, hardware and window ledges. Best of all, Daniel is an honest guy and does what he agrees to do. Treat these guys right and they’ll treat you right! Great job! We love our new space! Thanks Daniel!
I wanted to replace the deck for my townhome as it had gotten to a pretty sad state. I contacted half a dozen contractors for estimates; Lucas was the first to schedule an estimate and the first to send a written proposal (within a few days). A couple contractors took up to three weeks to send their proposals; one didn't respond; and two told me they weren't scheduling estimates until OCTOBER. Unlike the other two, Lucas' estimate was detailed and included drawings and information about the materials that would be used, and was priced competitively as well. He followed up at a regular basis but was not pushy. My HOA ultimately did not give me permission to do the project (due to an unforseen foundation issue). However, if it had been up to me I would have hired Lucas and I'm sure the project would have been completed within the week.
John framed our basement, which included 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, a storage room, and entertainment room. He did such a wonderful job with designing the layout of the rooms and framing. As our contractor he continues to help with setting up sub contractors for other finishes like electrical, plumbing and drywall. He has been very informative and helpful through this process, and when asked questions he responds very quickly. Once drywall is complete, he will do the finishing touches with closets, windows, and doors and we are very excited to see the end product.
Robert is a great professional and wonderful to work with. Highly Recommend. -Pays attention to detail -Work is outstanding -Great Communication -Gets the job done at a reasonable price -Everything you want in a contractor
It can be difficult to get contractors' attention, especially on small projects. Drywall King of Denver (aka Kevin) made an appointment to come out within a day of my posting on Thumbtack. He committed to price and a schedule when I agreed to his estimate. He used the Thumbtack website tools to provide updates on his availability, which came via email, and met all our expectations. When the job was slightly larger, we worked together to agree on the additional cost. Kevin is great to work with. I will definitely use him again!
I've hired a lot of contractors from Thumbtack, but David was one of the few to actually respond to my project with a specific response. He read all the details and knew I had an issue with my floor. He didn't send a blanket message, he catered it to my project. That is why I hired him. Not only was he on time and personable, but he also came with a solution that he executed in a timely manner and for a reasonable price. Our project was not an easy feat and we appreciated his transparency after each work day. We will be using him for many more projects around the house in the near future.
John and his assistant Jeremiah re shingled my shed roof and did a great job. John was very prompt with an appointment, bid and answered follow up questions by email and phone. Their work was first rate and was completed in just a few hours. They cleaned up the site and impressed me with their enthusiasm. A great contractor to deal with! Thanks guys!
Working with John and Ryan was a pleasure. Very professional, quality work, fair pricing. I would highly recommend this contractor. Thank you, I couldn't be happier!
Ken redid a patio in front of our house. He was very personable, gave us good advice and options. He explained the budget and met it. He explained the project very well. His work was on time, on budget and was of exceptional quality. We would hire him for our next project.
Mile High did a great job on several small projects in our home that we had just purchased. After inspection we had several things that needed to be addressed and mile high made sure to get them done in a timely and professional manner. I would recommend them to anyone seeking a quality contractor in the Denver Metro Area!
Sanko LLC Custom Carpentry built me a custom barn door for my house and I was beyond satisfied with the completed product!
Jake and Brendan are excellent workers who clearly know what they are doing👍. They discussed their work and plans with us for each day and overcame many unexpected obstacles. They are hard workers, reliable, and trustworthy. We appreciated the responsible attitude and even left them to direct other contractors. I would highly recommend them for any project you are considering!!!
I had a FANTASTIC experience working with Denver Developers. The co-founders of the company, Justin and James, are extremely professional and were very willing to work within or budget and timeline. We needed a deck built within 5 days, and they finished within 1.5 days! Their crew was prompt, highly communicative, and tremendously respectful of our property. I also needed a very last-minute demolition job completed in my home, and Denver Developers was able to accommodate our extremely short 24 hour turn around time period with ease. I have never had a more enjoyable experience working with any other contractor in the Denver-metro area, and look forward to having them manage & execute our 1200-square foot basement renovation within the next few months. My husband and I hired Custom Builders LLC (Kaleb) to tear down the half hall staircase leading to the second level of our home and replaced it with a open rail and baluster staircase. Kaleb's responsiveness throughout the job was great. We where kept informed about the timing of when materials would arrive and when each segment of the job would be completed. Kaleb's work is high quality and he kept a very clean work space between each segment of the project. We got very good value for the job. We had done some research about prices before we hired Custom Builders and found Kaleb's price for the job was very reasonable. The timing on completion of each segment of the job was longer than planned. Completion time was double the time that was initially set. There were a number of issues with getting the correct materials from Kaleb's vender. If you are willing to work with a small contractor who does the work himself Kaleb Shultz (Custom Builders LLC) is your guy.
