Karen is amazing! I feel like this review doesn't do her justice. I showed her pictures of arrangements I liked and she went above and beyond to bring my vision to life. Even finding peonies (my favorite flower) out of season for my bouquet. I wanted to avoid typical wedding flowers and she did just that. Her flowers were vibrant, fresh, organic and completely beautiful. All of our guest commented on how beautiful the flowers were. We also hired her as a wedding planner and day of planner. Having a very anxious mother she took all of the stress of my husband and I and we were able to completely relax and enjoy our day. I would absolutely recommend her for any event. She will work within your budget and stick to it!

Evan was a real pleasure to work with for our wedding. He met with us a couple times in advance to work through specialty cocktails, setup, timing, and staffing. Him and his crew showed up timely, had a great setup to serve from, and mixed great drinks! I can't say enough about the professionalism and quality of Evan and his team. My wife and I are both from Chicago and decided to do a destination wedding in Colorado. We found Lata while browsing online for wedding decorators. Being a destination wedding, we did not get to meet her in person until our 1-month walkthrough. Lata was professional throughout the whole process. She was patient and open to our vision and provided her insights from her past experiences in this field when needed. She was available for us as we had several long phone conversations to determine our theme, discuss details, logistics, etc. She would work around our schedule and make herself available for us during nights and weekends. During the whole process, she worked with us to keep the decoration and her services within our budget. She paid attention to all details for our Sangeet night and wedding ceremony. She got all the colors, floral, and placements exactly how we wanted. She was also prepared to have a Plan B if the weather did not cooperate with our events. She was accommodating and met us at both of our event's venues pre-walkthrough to finalize the decoration. She treated us like a friend and did things outside the job description - for example, she stored few boxes of personal items for us and provided other vendor suggestions for our wedding. As nervous as we were about her understanding our vision-she came through a 110%. She even built us a custom wooden stage for our wedding mandap last minute since the rented stage did not work well. We truly could not have asked for a better, professional decorator than Lata to accomplish our vision. As picky as we were about the exact shade of color of the fabric we wanted for our mandap and the flowers, she was honest & open to telling us what she can do for us. We would highly recommend her-even if you are having a destination wedding! Thank you, Lata! Our wedding would not have been possible without you.

I cannot recommend Britainy enough. She was extremely professional, had great advice, kept my wedding moving in the right direction, consistently available, and she did it all while pregnant. She helped to coordinate my vendors, took tips to dispense, and helped to keep track of invoices. If you are looking for an event planner, I would suggest hiring Britainy immediately! She was by far the best decision I made for my wedding and we would have been lost without her!

Jonathan was willing to work with my needs on my budget, which saved my wedding day because finding a reasonable decorator in the area was near impossible. He met with me a few times prior to the big day to ensure he understood what I wanted done. Due to the uniqueness of my situation I paid cash up front for his services, which at the time I was skeptical of, but now I would do it again any day. Jonathan went above and beyond what I needed done; when I walked into my reception hall it looks absolutely perfect! Everything went seemlessly I couldn't have dreamt of a better situation! I would highly recommend Highlights Colorado to anyone.

    Christine was the best wedding coordinator! My husband and I got married in Palm Springs. We starting working with Christine when we lived in Denver then we moved to NYC. She was amazing with all the back and forth that were involved planning a wedding across country. Not only did she completely manage day of coordination but did so much work on the back end to make our wedding happen. Christine worked with vendors, was our middle man for many conversations, and emails, and helped us get our pricing down with many vendors. I really appreciated her knowledge of this industry and having a person "on our side" that we could bounce ideas and pricing off was invaluable. A lot of our wedding was pieced together which made this even more valuable. We had our reception, ceremony, and party at a private estate. Therefore everything from our caterer, rentals, bookings, bartenders, decorations, flowers and everything had to be done by us! Christine was a huge part of making this all happen. As for the day of, it could not have been more perfect. She showed up big by managing all of the above so I was able to focus on my wedding day. I could not recommend her enough!

    I had the pleasure of working with Caitlin as my day-of wedding coordinator and she was AWESOME! She took the time to really understand my vision for the day and executed it perfectly, from setting up the decorations to coordinating our wedding party and family. Her insights and experience in the event planning industry made her a great support system when it came to navigating some of the trickier last-minute details with vendors, the DJ, etc. Aside from being very friendly, creative, detail-oriented and organized, Caitlin will do her best to put all of your worries at ease when it comes to planning your special day - whatever that may be!

      For more than a year I started thinking on throwing my daughter a Sweet 16 party. As a busy working mom with only experience on little kid's birthday parties I knew I needed the help of a professional. I checked some companies, read reviews but none of them seemed to be what I was looking for, until one day, beginning of this past spring, I found Good Ol'-Fashioned Party and I checked the website, pictures and I knew she could put the party together the way my daughter wanted it. Not only Heather capture the idea when we first met with her but also helped us to create a plan to get all the main pieces together in such short time (less than 4 months). She helped us finding venue, catering, decorations. She was always on point, she advised us, she supported us and guide us when we started getting out of track. Heather is a real professional, down to earth, supportive, creative, incredible helpful, she helped us on last minute projects that I could not take care of myself and she did an amazing job. The party ran very nice and Heather and team were on top of the details, they were always around with a smile and great attitude. They knew all the logistics that most of the time we as guests do not pay attention but make things run nice and smooth. The venue we chose for the party it's really beautiful but with Heather and Cassie's touch the place really was transformed to an amazing elegant reception. Kids had a lot of fun, parents and families had a blast. I can't thank her enough for everything she did to make this dream come true for my daughter and I will be always grateful for everything she did for us before and at the party. She not only can create a beautiful wedding party but also a big special occasion event!!           Grant Humphreys Mansion is a historical building, so there are specific guidelines to follow. NOT permitted: tacks, staples, pins, nails, uncovered wires, flower petals inside the mansion, glitter, confetti, rice, feathers, and potpourri. ALLOWED (not a complete list): ribbon, string, rope, balloons, cord, fishing line, pipe cleaners, covered wire, tulle/other fabrics, candles. There are hooks already mounted in certain areas of the mansion for use. As you can tell, creativity would be required for hanging/draping things, but it can be (and has been) done! We need decorating both inside for the reception and outside for the ceremony. We would ask that you work with our caterer and florist if possible (and my fiance and I have some ideas and materials we can provide too), to create a romantic, jaw-dropping venue with the noted challenging restrictions. The event set-up is from 2:30-4:30pm, and tear-down is from 9-10pm.
