Christopher is an outstanding editor. He reads into the manuscript and story to understand the writing style of the author before suggesting any editing changes. We spoke many times regarding the manuscript and story line. He gave me insights to the writing and formatting of the book. He also suggested I take time to look through the body of the story and correct a few points before he took the finished manuscript in for editing. He is a gem. I have other projects on the table which I will definitely be using Christopher for. He is an old soul editor and writer.

Caitlin is the best editor. I highly recommend her. She reviews and edits documents thoroughly. I’ve gotten edits and feedback from many people in the past, since I work in an area where this is common practice, and Caitlin’s feedback is always the most helpful. She’s highly prepared, as she holds a PhD in STEM and she’s also well published in science communication; this is not common. She’s good at communicating clearly and concisely, and this is projected in her edits and feedback. She’s always on-time and strict with deadlines. I’m very lucky to have her as a professional connection and confide greatly in her skills as editor and writer. Some of the documents that Caitlin has reviewed for me are manuscripts for scientific publication, fellowship proposals, grant proposals, and job applications. Thank you Caitlin! You're great!

Mr. Gromer edited several clips of a baby bear in the wild. He located the music meant for this IPhone footage, stabilized and put together the perfect wildlife video. I am very happy with the end results.

I highly recommend Nancy Sparrow and Sparrow Solutions for all business and household support! I have used their Business Services and their Personal Concierge services since 2008. I have 100% trust in them. Nancy is a dynamic person and I trust her and her team to do whatever it takes to get things done. On the personal side...they manage my credit cards, finances, my son's schedule, my calendar, travel arrangements, household projects, errands, storage units, etc. As a note...she is also a very solid editor of copy. On the Business Services side, SS provides admin support, inventory, operational support, business development and research, marketing and sales, writing and editing as well as lots of projects we don't have specific staff for. It would be a mistake not to go with Sparrow Solutions.

After several independent reviews of my memoir, it was evident that if I wanted to take my book to the next level, it would be wise to engage the skills and knowledge of a professional editor. Even though I had read the manuscript too many times to remember, the reviewers pointed out a few spelling and punctuation miscues. I was trying to avoid the cost of paying an editor for something that I thought I knew and could do well. It turns out there were editing concerns that I had never encountered and therefore, was unaware how they might impact the reader. At our first meeting, Amber listened intently to my concerns, confirmed what I wanted from an editor and also confirmed what I didn't want. She shared with me her experience and expertise, assuring me that she was highly qualified. Amber explained her approach was to read and edit a small amount of the manuscript and then to send it to me for review. With my "go ahead," she would resume and continue editing in the same manner throughout the book until the editing was complete. Such an approach was reassuring and perfect for me. Amber was true to her word, was everything I had hoped for and more. We were in continual communication throughout the process. At one point, when I became overwhelmed and a bit apprehensive, Amber sat by my side and explained each and every correction. She was always honoring and made mention of her own personal connections to parts of my story. In summary, I highly recommend Amber. She is thorough, comprehensive, skilled and very knowledgable. Having trusted her completely, I am now ready to take my manuscript to the publisher, confident that it is perfect in every way.

Charlotte edited my latest manuscript, preparing it for publication and adding all the technical details I wouldn't have thought to include. She didn't make blind assumptions about my content, but pointed out areas that might need more clarification and let me do that. Which is what makes a great editor! Incredibly informative and helpful. Margaret provided excellent feedback and was constructive in her editing. My essay was much more cohesive because of her editing, but still allowed my own voice to show through. I would highly recommend her for any writing or editing assistance!

Our daughter's on-line applications to two private high schools were comprised of a series of tiny boxes that limited the space for answers. We needed to fit everything we wanted to say into the paltry space allowed. Somehow, Savan Associates managed, by deadline, to help us pack our daughter's many attributes into the allowable space. She got accepted to both schools. The following year, Savan Associates helped us with our older son's on-line applications to the same two schools, working with us to condense his myriad talents into detailed yet succinct paragraphs. He, too, got accepted to both schools. Needless to say, we'll return to Savan Associates when the time comes to complete the private-school applications for our younger son as well as any other writing/editing we might need along the way. We can't give a better recommendation than that. > > Ricki T. > St. Louis, Missouri

**Send me a page or two or your work. I'll edit it for free. That's the best way to pick your writer/editor -- see firsthand what they do and how they do it.** I provide writing, editing, and writing instruction services to businesses, universities, government agencies, and non-profits nationwide. I’ve done work for dozens of marketing firms, Unisys Corporation, U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Air Force, CH2M HILL, Prentice Hall, LexisNexis, HP, Webroot, VMware, and Adobe, and I’ve written and edited corporate, government, technical, and marketing documentation throughout my career. Let’s just say my work has run the gamut. Back in the day, I developed and taught a course in technical writing for Pentagon personnel. I also spent three years teaching courses in academic writing, public speaking, and literature to students at the University of Virginia and three years teaching writing at the University of Colorado, Boulder. I earned a Master of Arts degree in English Literature, Language, and Research from the University of Virginia. My GRE Verbal test score is in the 99th percentile. Why share a GRE score? Because it assesses ability in language usage, grammar, and punctuation. I know my stuff. I live in the grand and gorgeous state of Colorado, and in my free time I work on my novel, travel extensively in the US (47 states and counting), travel as much as possible around the world, and bike around Denver on one of my fabulous cruisers. Unless my bikes have been stolen. They’re stolen a lot.
