I had flown to Denver to check into a specialized hospital. Anyone who has spent any time in hospitals knows how boring they can get, and how important it is to have access to your important information, like how to pay your bills online, research you need to share with your doctor, and doing something other than watching TV! Unfortunately, a week into my stay, my computer completely died. Needless to say, I was devastated, and there was no way I could just leave and drop off my computer somewhere for repairs. After some trusty Googling, Thumbtack set me up with a company calls The Creative Technologies who came all the way to my hospital room, completed a preliminary diagnosis of the problem, and took my computer for a full 24-hour assessment of damage and repairs, after giving me an incredibly reasonable and competitive quote for repairs. The next day, we discovered that my computer was fine, but needed a new keyboard. They promptly ordered the parts necessary for repairs, and while we waited for parts to come in, they supplied me with my laptop AND a complimentary external keyboard so I could still use my computer. During this time, I transferred to an entirely different hospital. Once the parts came in, my personal technician came straight to my new address, picked up my computer and loaner keyboard, fixed my laptop with its new keyboard, and delivered my laptop in perfect, repaired, and clean condition. Now my computer looks it's best and works better than ever. I do not have enough positive things to say about Adeel, my technician, the great people at The Creative Technologies, and the people at Thimbtack for helping match me to the perfect service professionals. Wish I could give more than five stars! Thanks again to all involved; I LOVE my new/old computer!

I had contracted some nasty issue within the boot sector of my hard drive that was way beyond my ability to detect or delete. When contacting Chris Smith, he was rather reassuring that he could deal with my problem. I left it over a weekend so he wouldn't be rushed and he had it all fixed and back to me on Monday afternoon. I like the fact that he's not a techie that talks down to you, but rather just gives you a straight forward approach to the issue. I'd recommend him to anyone that's shopping for a competent computer repair service center.

William responded to my call quickly and informed me of the procedure and costs involved with reviewing the problems I had with my computer. I am a small business person who uses her computer every day all day so was grateful for the quick response. William found the problem and set out to obtain and replace the part. That did fix the problem but not 100%. I contacted him again and he did more work to find out why my computer wasn't working 100%. He did find a secondary problem, explained what was needed to correct this and again got the parts and installed and working. I like the fact that William keeps up with his continuing education, this knowledge shows. I liked that he was good to communicate and explain and that he listened to my concerns and answered my questions. I would recommenced his services to anyone needing a computer repair or update.

Genius Computer did a fantastic job in repairing my laptop. They got it done very quickly for a lot cheaper than other shops. I would recommend them to anyone!!

I called Amanda to help with my broken laptop because she gave me a real and personal estimate from Thumbtack. She was prompt to pick my computer up, and had diagnosed the problem the next day. Though my laptop couldn't be repaired, she provided several options. She had even saved my files to her external hard drive, because she knew how important they were to me. In the end, I bought a new computer and she came over, transferred my files, and even installed a virus scan. Mandy was patient in answering my (many) questions, and much more affordable and personable than big businesses. Call her for your laptop, phone, or other repairs!

This was an awesome experience, My son and I had a surge that caused our computer monitor and keyboard not to work. Researched online and none of fixes worked. Found Onsite Consulting in my search for computer repair via Thumbtack. I called several other places prior to calling Scott. The diagnostic cost was way out of budget.
