Mike is absolutely one of the best personal trainers that I have worked with over the years. I interviewed several trainers but knew as soon as I met Mike and we had our trial session that he was the trainer for me. As both a registered dietitian and personal trainer, his total diet/fitness regimen has helped me get into the best shape of my life. I have dropped over 15 pounds in less than 4 months while putting on more defined muscle tone. My energy level is at an all-time high and my overall body fat is down by over 5%. Beyond the measurable results, Mike is a joy to be around. He is a true professional but we are able to laugh and enjoy ourselves during our training sessions. I regularly get texts from Mike checking in on how things are going and to remind me to eat more fruits and veggies!! He is genuinely invested in his clients' success above and beyond the workouts. I cannot recommend Mike highly enough as a personal trainer. If you put in the work, Mike will help you to achieve amazing results. You will not be disappointed!!

Justin is a well qualified and highly knowledgeable trainer with a great personality to match. Sessions are whatever you want them to be, but he also doesn't let you out of stuff if you're too tired, and always has a plan and structure throughout each session. I get he workouts written out for me to take home and reference for workouts later; he writes the exercises down as we go. This guy will push you because he believes in you. His passion for what he does is blatant, exciting and clear and I look forward to vibing with him every time we get to work together. You won't regret him; one of the best I've worked with and I hire a personal trainer in every city I go to, while on the road for work. Thanks, J! Will miss you and you'll be my first call if I'm back in Denver!

Shanon is personable, knowledgeable, and adaptable. He's the first personal trainer I've ever worked with who has actually practiced yoga! I love working with Sara! As someone who's a "little older" I appreciate her attention to making sure my workout is not only effective, but safe. She's been able to not just work around my physical limitations but improve them! She obviously has a lot of experience and passion for what she does. Two words...tough love!!! Amanda knows which questions to ask and how to analyze food intake/nutrition unlike anyone else I've worked with in the past. I was experiencing adrenal fatigue and intermittent bouts of depression and had an interest in getting off some of the medications I was taking. As a personal trainer, I tried everything I thought would help me get back on track but I couldn't get out of my "rut". My doctor told me that I needed to increase my fat/cholesterol intake, which I thought was absurd. I decided it was time to consult with someone who understood nutrition and supplementation as well as what it takes to maintain good health. Amanda had me do a 7 day food diary to see what I was eating on a consistent basis so she could assess what I was doing right then compare those results to my deficient areas. Needless to say, she too determined that my saturated fat/cholesterol levels were too low. She also looked at what was missing from my diet and got me on some different vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Within about a week I started feeling some improvement but still didn't feel like myself. After a month of making some additional adjustments, I'm happy to say that Amanda got me back on track and feeling good again. If you're looking to lose some weight, increase your energy levels, or improve your overall health; Amanda will get you to where you want to be!

Jessica has been amazing! I started seeing her for nutritional coaching over a year ago. She has taught me proper nutrition, stress management tips and how to deal with emotional eating. My weight and health has always been a source of anxiety for me. Having a small boned body and being short but not obese, has proved it very difficult for me to find the right food and dietary plan to help me get back on a road to health and lose weight. Initially I had little hope, but Melissa was right there by my side. It was hard but with her help, support and guidance I have been seeing amazing results. She has been right at my side encouraging, guiding me and being my biggest cheerleader. Her exercise plan is challenging and gives the best results. I have re-found my waistline and my flabby arms have started to get definition again. My goal was to fit into my white skinny jeans, and with the help of Melissa, I fit into them again. I never thought that would be possible. Most of all she gave me easy to achieve goals – “small steps” as she calls them. Melissa never discourages me to not eat what I want, instead she preaches moderation and gives you alternatives- “if you fall off the wagon one day, jump back on the next” is what she tells me. She is patient and firm at the same time. She has given me the tools to live a life that is vibrant and healthy and energetic. From cooking lessons, one-on-one training sessions and shopping trips she has been just what I needed. I highly recommend her to everyone.

    I was lucky enough to meet Morgan while he was working at Bally’s, which was my first experience working with a trainer. I participated in his group fitness class 4 days a week and towards the end we added 2 one on one sessions per week. I worked with Morgan, consistently, for about 6 months and lost just about 40lbs during that time. I have always struggled with weight and had tried every fad diet known. So I was surprised when Morgan said all it would take was a good workout schedule and a healthy diet!! Imagine that?! Being a woman it was hard to be weighed and measured by a fit young man, but he never made me feel uncomfortable about it and was always encouraging. I tend to be silly and sarcastic and some days it was hard to find that motivation needed to get going.. He matched me in every way and motivated me to keep going. Morgan challenged me and kept me on track. He made working out fun and it was something to look forward to after a long work day. When I struggled with nutrition he would have me send him a food journal to help tweak what I was eating and suggested other options. I think what I appreciated most about working with Morgan is that he taught me how to work out and gave me the tools to be successful on my own. He truly cares about his clients and wants to see them succeed. I certainly am excited and eager to work with him again!

      How much does a nutritionist cost?

      A nutritionist provides expertise and guidance to help clients with all diet-related health matters, including losing weight, gaining muscle, improving their sports performance, and managing diabetes or high cholesterol. Nutritionists can help people learn to follow special diets in a healthy way, such as becoming vegetarian or vegan or developing a low-sodium or gluten-free eating plan. The average national cost of a nutritionist is $60 to $100. Nutritionists often require an initial consultation with a new client, during which they’ll take a medical history, assess the client’s nutritional needs, and determine the best course of action; this first meeting usually averages $100-$120 for a 45-minute to 90-minute consultation. People also meet with nutritionists for help developing a healthy vegetarian or vegan diet, developing an eating plan to lose weight or gain muscle, or improving their sports performance by changing their diet. Nutritionists may be covered by health insurance depending on your reason for meeting with them. Nutrition counseling is more likely to be covered if it is part of a doctor-prescribed treatment for a particular medical condition, such as diabetes, obesity, high blood pressure or coronary heart disease. For example, Medicare covers medical nutrition therapy services only for people diagnosed with diabetes or kidney disease, as long as they get a referral from their doctor. Also, insurance providers more often cover nutrition visits if the patient has been referred to a registered dietitian within the carrier’s network of providers.
