My goal is to lose weight. I recently had shoulder surgery and my range of motion is pretty limited, and my shoulder/arm strength is next to zero. That combination has caused me to gain a lot of weight recently. I've only had one session with Justin, so far, but he very aware and accommodating around my current limitations. The docs tell me I am going to lose up to 40% of my range of motion. With Justin's help, my goal is to earn 100% recovery. The workout was HARD for me, but Justin kept focused on increasing my performance without allowing me to overdue my current my fitness level.

I worked with Michael Aquilar for about 3mos and cannot say enough about what a wonderful experience it was. I really needed help with diet, smoking and alcohol as well as a strong desire to not only lose weight but to also gain strength. In the 3mos with Michael I was able to lose almost 20lbs of fat and showed very noticeable muscle definition. Michael takes a very personal approach to each session and is not there to make the experience awful. As many people know starting a workout regimen after, in my case, years of sedentary life is difficult. I needed help and not only did Michael ease me into it, what he had me do from an exercise and diet perspective started to take place in the first week. I was blown away that just 3 visits a week (with some personal exercise outside of sessions with Michael) would work as well as it did and has. I cannot recommend Michael Aguilar enough. If you're worried about going to gyms, fear judgement on how you think you look or are just simply not sure a personal trainer is for you I think you should give Michael a shot. He'll change your perspective on health and just how much diet and exercise can really change your life.

Jennifer is a friendly personality that comes fully prepared with workouts that have tons of variety; she works with whatever equipment you do or don’t have. The workouts have good warm-ups and ending stretches. They are strenuous but always left me feeling energized and motivated to progress further. Also, she is full of helpful hints and resources to help with food choices if your goal is to lose weight. Professional, knowledgeable and very encouraging!

I have achieved great results with Daria and have accomplished my goals of losing weight and toning my muscles. Daria demands/expects a lot from her clients and continues to push me during our workout sessions. She is very technical and works a lot of muscles that other trainers fail to address. She has also helped me better manage my nutrition and calorie intake. Her rates are very reasonable and she is very flexible with my changing schedules and conflicts. This was my first time getting a personal trainer and I must say I was satisfied with who I hired. I learned a lot form Jerome. I liked that he was knowledgeable about the exercises he instructed with me. Any questions I had about anything about my sessions, certain exercise or anything else, he responded with elaborated detail and was clear for me to understand. I enjoyed every session I had with him. It was fun and exciting. I was always excited to wake up sore the next day and I would tell him about it. Waking up sore means progress and that I had an effective workout. I hired Jerome for 90 days, 2 days a week and got close to my workout goals than if I would of done it alone. If I would of kept on, I would of got to my goals. With the amount of time and days spent with Jerome training me, I'm just glad that he at least helped me get halfway where I wanted to be. I took home a lot of exercises that I learned from him and incorporate them into my workouts. I now have more knowledge of weight training, how to effectivly workout my abs, how to and when to stretch the right way, and learned about high intensity cardio. Overall, I got my money worth, I got results, got educated, and most of all had fun. I would highly recommend Jerome. I plan on hiring him again for a another round!

After losing close to 150 lbs. over 18 months with Weight Watchers, I started training with Dana at the beginning of October 2015. I had lost the weight but had done no strength training prior to that point. Dana asked the right questions and immediately got me working on strengthening my core and building muscle mass that I had never really had before. With the massive weight loss, I had to relearn movement, balance and more. Dana has tailored my training plan to accomplish this successfully. She educated me on proper nutrition with specific instructions on protein and carbohydrate intake in conjunction with Weight Watchers. The difference I have seen since that time has been fantastic. Working with Dana I’ve seen my body weight continue to drop while my lean muscle mass has increased. I’m seeing the toning and definition that I hoped for. My massage therapist has commented on the difference she’s seen in my muscle tone and the strengthening of various muscle groups due to the workout program Dana laid out for me. I know this difference is because of the guidance and encouragement from Dana over this time. I’m also a runner, having completed two Half Marathons since December 2015. With the core and endurance training Dana has put me through, I’ve cut over 3 minutes per mile off of my running pace in the last 3 months. Her style is direct and honest, which I appreciate. She doesn’t pull her punches and doesn’t sugar coat things. That makes a world of difference when your focus is actually seeing noticeable results. At the same time, she’s been extremely supportive and encouraging since day 1. I know that the progress I’ve made physically and in my self-confidence are directly related to the instruction, guidance and support Dana has given me. If you want results from a trainer that knows how to achieve definable and measureable goals, you need to work with Dana and give her 100% of your effort. You will see results. You will feel better and stronger. I'm happy to provide this review based on all the changes I've seen working with Dana.

Working with Chad at Obstacle Destruction is both invigorating and challenging. We meet three times a week and I have seen remarkable changes in myself and my stamina. He uses state of the art techniques combined with inventive workouts to take my fitness to the next level. Chad works with my time constraining schedule to make sure we meet every week. He has always been knowledgeable and supportive as he pushes me through new and challenging routines. My current goal is to get ready for the Navy PST, and as it stands, I am on track to blow it out of the water because of Chad’s advice and knowhow. I had been lifting and working out for a few months prior to meeting Mark. I had already lost a good amount of weight but started to hit a plateau and decided I wanted to seek a personal trainer to help me break my plateau. I searched online and was having quite a bit of trouble finding a trainer that seemed to be the right match for me. I was specifically looking for a trainer with a great deal of knowledge about lifting, nutrition, weight loss, etc. Trying to find the right trainer seemed to be quite a hassle. I was connected with Mark through thumbtack and decided to meet Mark for my initial consultation. Talking with Mark for ten minutes was all I needed to believe I had probably found the right personal trainer. We have been training together for 6 weeks now and OMG this guy is fantastic. He is sooo knowledgeable in every aspect of health and training. He is very easy going and patient and you can tell immediately that he really cares about helping his clients. He is very detailed, always on time for sessions, and really goes the extra mile to help you reach your fitness goals. I have lost and additional 20lbs since I started training with Mark and have gained a ton of muscle mass. Not only that, but I also have such a better understanding of nutrition and how to properly weight lift, control my diet etc. in a way that is most beneficial to me, my health, and my safety. Mark is simply fantastic. Such a great guy and I highly recommend him to anyone. Whether you are just starting to work out and want to lose weight, or if you are more advanced and want someone with a great deal of knowledge to help you maximize your results, Mark is absolutely the guy to help you achieve these goals. I worked with Jason as my personal trainer for about 3 years. He is a very patient, caring, flexible and dedicated professional who has taught me about weight lifting and eating properly to maximize weight loss. He has changed my mindset from doing mostly cardio to mostly weight lifting. I worked with him in person and used his online programming. Both are very effective. Jason still keeps in touch with me which keeps me motivated to keep lifting.

Willpower Fitness is my favorite workout studio in Denver featuring the latest strength and cardio equipment including TRX bands, bosu balls, kettlebells, machines, stairmasters, and my favorite, the sled. They incorporate everything from traditional lifts (both body and light weight) to plyometrics to cross-fit exercises. One on one or group training, the workouts vary every day and you definitely feel a burn. Diet and nutrition planning is also available. The staff takes pride in what they do and make it a supportive environment. Will and Don have been in the fitness industry for 10+ years and are extremely experienced in their field. Also have a great vibe working together, are joksters, and make everyone laugh. They focus on each individual person and are in tune with their body. Stretching and proper form play a key role in everyone's program. Willpower Fitness is a brand new studio, clean, with plenty of showers, hot water, hairdryers, curling irons, hairspray, lotion, etc. The locker room is a relaxing environment to say the least. They also offer childcare with lots of toys! I highly suggest Willpower Fitness. I don't doubt it will become your gym and sanctuary as well.

I thank you for the year long opportunity I had to train with you at the gym and for inspiring my husband to eventually join us. It has become our morning ritual that we can do together. Too bad you moved to Denver and left me behind. You provided to me realistic goal setting, reality check when going a stray and encouragement when meeting my goals. You have a great sense of humor and then excel in your knowledge and passion for training others. I not only improved in my BMI numbers but measurements and increasing my strength and flexibility. It's not easy as we get older to have those all in sinc and feeling good about the clothes fit. The amazing think is that I have been able to keep off and maintain those results for 3 years now, not everyone has that success. You have given me confidence in the to gym to mix up my routine and look forward to the variety of cardio and importance of weights. I started looking for a trainer early last summer. Karisa was very prompt in contacting me and we discussed her training program and my needs. I'm on a different road than most people as I was diagnosed with cancer in 2013 and pre-diabetes in late 2015. The cancer meds are taking it's toll on my bone density and when I discovered I am pre-diabetic I knew I had to change my nutrition plan. I did not know much about nutrition so changing my diet caused rapid and extreme weight and muscle loss. I knew I was headed for a lot of trouble and I needed professional help. This is when I started my search for a trainer and I am so thankful I found Karisa! She is very knowledgeable in nutrition/diet, working out and strength training. Karisa has a lot of expertise, is professional, upbeat, challenging, motivating and has a true passion for what she does. She is so positive and inspiring. Proper form for best results is very important to her. Her workouts are challenging and she is so encouraging. After each session, Karisa would provide me with a workout plan for the week which was so helpful! I started seeing results after the first few sessions with Karisa. I'm stronger, I feel healthier and have more energy and stamina. It's amazing how toned my muscles are. I don't think I have ever been in such great shape as I am now. If you are looking for an awesome trainer, Karisa should be at the top of your list. Believe me, she will meet all of your needs and more than your expectations! Thank you Karisa!

What can I say: Jon knows what he is doing! I never felt as though I was being put down because of my weight (as some trainers do), or that I was ever pushed too far. He took his time to understand my goals and helped me develop the best plan of action for me! In just a short amount of time, Jon took me from lazy and overweight to a fitness fanatic! This level of training is what I’d expect to pay THOUSANDS for-so to have Jon at such an incredible price is crazy to me! Officially down 15 lbs and 4% body fat-all thanks to Jon’s fantastic training! Don’t think about it-SIGN UP WITH HIM!

I have been at STAC for 5 years training with Christine Herr. She keeps me motivated and in shape. She works my entire body including weight training and cardio in 1 private session. I also attend her classes. They are extremely reasonable in price for a great workout. Plus, they are available almost everyday of the week. Chris is now working with me during my first pregnancy. I'm confident that my labor will be easier and healthier due to my training. In general, STAC is a clean and comfortable facility with the latest and greatest equipment and techniques. People of all ages and levels train at STAC, so it never feels intimidating. Thanks STAC!

I've been working with Brad for about 10 months, and it's been one of the best things I've done for myself. As a 4'9", 40-year-old female with an uncooperative left ankle, at first I was really not sure that I had any business lifting weights! I started out just wanting to lose a couple of pounds and look better, but Brad showed me that I could get stronger, too, and I love it. As Linda C. said, Brad is very good at knowing pushing me to beyond what I thought I could do. At the same time, he's also conscientious about proper form and avoiding injury.
