We needed a laminate floorinstalled in our kitchen, which was just completed today. The scheduling was painless. Although they did need to reschedule, plenty of notice was given so we could easily accommodate. The job was completed in about a half day and the quote was substantially more affordable than others we had received. In particular, we appreciated that we did not have to move appliances, he was able to move them out of the way and back in place as worked progressed. We would not hesitate to do business with Flooring Trends again.

If I could choose all 5 qualities on the review, I would. Samuel and his team came in and knocked it out of the park with the tile.
Before install, the team was very responsive on communication to help guide on best design for the final layout. In the end, we changed two different tiles based on a recommendation from Floor and Decor, and came out beautiful.
Flooring Trends are clean, tactical, punctual, advisory, detailed, and overall awesome!
Thank you again!! LOVE IT! Now onto installing the tub, vanity, toilet!

This was our 2nd major project with Flooring Trends and Samuel's team did amazing work. There were a lot of details, including a mosaic floor, and they laid it expertly! Everything looks amazing!
The only issue was related to scheduling. We had planned for 4 days per week for 2 weeks on the install part of the project (8 days). Samuel asked to shorten it to one week and we had an unfortunate miscommunication that he meant 6 days (Monday - Saturday). We might have been done in that timeframe, but due to other delays and conflicts, it instead took 2 additional days 2 weeks later to finish our install (total of 8 days).
My tip to both Samuel and to potential customers is to allow for just a little more time on larger projects. Samuel did do a great job communicating through the delays, so that was much appreciated. I wish I could give this 4.5 stars, if I'm being honest.
Aside from that, Samuel and his team did great work! Very pleased with how everything turned out.

Dear Jac and Michelle, I appreciate your review and your kind words, it was such a pleasure to work with you guys again.
We aimed and worked hard to complete your job within the timeframe we had planned, but unfortunately a few unexpected things came up and contributed for the delay on our original plans. For example, once we did the demolition we discovered that your old tile floors were installed with wire mesh which is substantially harder to remove, leading us to spend more time with demolition and preparation of your floors in order to have it smoothly clean and ready for the tile membrane installation. We discovered mold on your wall studs and had to treat it with Killz and new insulation. We had to patch the floor plywood hole that was left by the plumbers after rerouting pipes. The premixed bucket grout we used was harder and more time consuming to install than a powder regular grout. We are happy we were able to give you guys a hand in order to have your double sink cabinets installed at no charge and I even worked with an injured back in order to finish up your job and not push it back even further.
I apologize that things didn't go exactly as we originally planned, but these unexpected circumstances unfortunately changed our original timeframe which is something that can happen with construction, especially in a bigger project like yours. It makes me happy to hear from you that I did a great job communicating through these delays.
We were there and worked really hard every single day to get your job done as quickly as possible, making sure that the final result quality of it would not fall through and we are delighted to know you are very pleased with how everything turned out.

Don’t think I’ve met a kinder and more professional person than Sam. I was looking for a granite back splash for my guest bathroom. I couldn’t find the exact piece anywhere. I ended up buying one from home depot. I was going to rent a wet saw to cut it myself. I was concerned because I hadn’t done it before. I looked around to see if I could find anybody to help. I couldn’t find anybody either because the job was too small or they asked for $600 to do it until I found Sam on thumbtack. Not only did he agree to help, he offered to do it for free. And he went about it super professionally. The end result was exactly what I wanted. I know who to hire for my next flooring/ kitchen renovation project.
