If you're seeking an incredibly knowledgeable and talented guitar instructor who happens to also have stellar taste in tunes, do yourself a favor and take guitar lessons from Edward! In addition to being a marvelous and helpful teacher who can patiently guide anyone on guitar, Edward is a kindhearted wonderful person, and he makes the teaching experience such a positive one. Cannot give this dude enough love!

I took guitar lessons from Phil from August 2012 - Feb 2013. He was professional and on time and personable and his rates were reasonable. On the one hand, his schedule was busy so that's good for business but because of that, our schedules did not fit together.

Rick is quite skilled in teaching guitar. He has taught me theory, technique, and starting to read some music. I am 60 yrs old and new at the guitar. Rick is very patient and doesn't mind me needing repetition. I might add that I am working with a 3 string cigar box guitar which is a bit different but Rick has had no issues in helping me with this instrument. I highly recommend taking advantage of his expertise. JP

Benito, the owner of Colorado Springs' Rocky Mountain Academy of Music, had substituted for our son's previous piano teacher, and we sought him out to further Zack's music lessons. We are extremely impressed with the balance he strikes between knowing when to push our son to further develop his skills and when to step back a bit. Zack practices each week, now, because he knows that Benito expects it. Zack has high functioning autism and often dislikes leaving our house, but he never argues when it's time to leave for his piano lessons. This is high praise for Rocky Mountain Academy of Music!

I’m 36 and have been playing guitar for about 10 years. I wanted to push myself with some new fingerstyle music and Adam helped me do just that. He was helpful with improving my technique and making the songs more musical. Adam is very friendly and I have enjoyed taking lessons with him.

The people, the environment, & the level of talent are all crazy amazing! From day one everyone at silver sound has been so welcoming. Most if not all of them play almost every instrument known to man. Even the receptionist has a musical background!! They offer one on one sessions & they start at the students level no matter what level that maybe. I take vocal lessons and piano with one instructor and song writing & music production with another. These guys are crazy talented and extremely humble. Their first love is music and it naturally shows. I am able to be my self no matter how crazy it is and they all accept me. It’s like one big family, who are extremely professional, always on time and so very creative. I’ve been looking for a place that can accommodate my needs as a musician & I’m so happy that I’ve found silver sound. 😊

So far in my lessons with Scott he has been able to teach me more than I actually thought to be a realistic goal. That confidence has really pushed me through to follow up with finally learning to play the guitar and read music and Scotts patience and overall knowledge has been key.

Our studios are on average 3x larger than other studios in the city Each studio has a $10,000-$15,000 equipment installation to maximize your learning experience with us. We have given more private guitar lessons than any other teaching studio in colorado Springs. Our studios employ no less than 4 different guitar teachers alone with multiple teachers available every day of the week. We don't gig professionally and teach on the side. Our primary focus is teaching. Our staff have music degrees, scholarships or undertaking other professional development classes every week to not only ensure a high level of teaching but to remain current on the latest teaching strategies, genres and styles. We have been told by scores of clients who have come to us from other teachers that we understand their music, we have fun, and they learn faster. This is rarely achieved with new teachers just starting out who are finding their way as a teacher.
