Heather L. says, "My daughter has been taking classes at Stook U Music for about a month, and we’ve had a great experience. They’ve been incredibly patient with her as she learns—and with me as well. When our second month started, my card was declined due to my bank issuing a new one. Instead of disrupting her lessons, they reached out to me directly and assured me that going forward they would contact me if there was ever an issue, rather than removing her from class. That level of communication and understanding really stood out. They were kind and patient throughout the entire process and even went above and beyond by helping me explore lessons for myself—offering discounts, options, and following up with zero pressure. It’s clear they genuinely care about their students and families. I highly recommend Stook U Music."See more

Matt L. says, "I have been taking guitar lessons from Pete for about 5 years now. The 5 years that I have been getting lessons have been a really good and I have learned so much about the guitar. Firstly, when I first started I was starting from scratch and had absolutely no idea on how to play. But now im able to play with pretty good speed and keep up with the fast songs. His teaching style I believe is very good and easy to understand, helping you excell in whatever you are doing. And it' not boring at all. Each lesson I have had, I have at least laughed a couple of times. So overall he is a great teacher who I would recommend to anyone if they were looking to learn the guitar or any other instrument he teaches. "See more

My name is David Sloan, and I run Sloan Music Studios here in the Surprise, Arizona area. I currently teach over 30 students each week and have been teaching piano, voice, guitar, and music theory since college. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Music and completed four years of formal music theory study. I specialize in helping beginner and early-intermediate students build strong musical foundations while developing confidence and a genuine enjoyment of music. Lessons are structured, encouraging, and tailored to each student’s pace so they experience steady progress. Students meet with me for weekly 30-minute private lessons in a consistent time slot. My goal is to create a clear and organized learning environment where students can grow in skill, discipline, and creativity. I am also an ESA-approved provider in Arizona, which means many families can use ESA funds to cover lessons. If you’re looking for a teacher who is patient, structured, and committed to helping your child succeed, I’d be happy to connect and answer any questions.See more
