I had Scott do dinner for myself & my girlfriend & three couples. He met with me & we discussed a menu. He was very good at helping me choose different & interesting dishes to go with the main course. (I had decided on fish before we met ). It seemed to me that Scott had the know how & the experience that I was looking for in a caterer. The best part was that he didn't waste my time with a lot of small talk, but was also very friendly & easy to work with. Needless to say the meal was great,on time and served by a very well trained & pleasant girl named Jessica. I'm sure that there were a few glitches but I was unaware it. All in all it was a great time and I'll invite Scott & his team back again.
From start to finish she made this process a breeze. The residents loved the cooking class and I would definitely work with her again in the future.
Debbie is WONDERFUL and I would highly recommend her to everyone I know. I signed up for a series of 6 cooking classes with her with the goal of forcing myself to try new foods and learning new recipes - I definitely accomplished both! Everything she taught us was health conscious and tasted delicious! I am looking forward to the next set of 6 classes with Debbie!

I have taken two cooking classes with Chef Celeste Borelli at her boutique studio kitchen in Avon and could not have been more pleased with both of them! Chef Borelli has a warm and inviting personality and is truly gifted at turning fresh, local ingredients into elegant, yet simple to prepare, dishes that I have made myself several times since the classes. I've been an avid home cook for years but in just one class with Evan, I learned so many things that will make my cooking experience more fun and the meals I make more delicious. It's amazing how learning how to actually use a knife can speed things along! I took the class alongside my 14 year old son who has taken a reality show driven interest in cooking. Evan's class was great for both of us. My son learned a lot and is excited to continue his culinary journey. I so appreciate how he tailored the class to our needs. We are looking forward to more classes with Food's an Art!
Denise provided me with weekly meals (lunch, dinner, snacks and dessert) for the first six weeks after giving birth to my first child. Optimal nutrition from whole foods was my priority because I was planning to breastfeed. After having an unplanned C-section, a healthy/balanced diet predominately plant-based with organic/wild caught animal sources became even more important while now being an even greater challenge for me to prepare. I was extremely satisfied with all of the meals that Denise provided and when minor tweaks were needed, she was always accommodating and was able to deliver still very tasty, healthy dishes. As I had hoped, I am lactating well, my son is growing exceedingly well, and I am losing my baby weight at a nice healthy pace. Unexpected, in the weeks after having Denise prepare my meals, I have taken on preparing my meals for the week ahead of time on Sunday, using the same glass containers that I purchased for her meal prep and I have been able to continue the wholesome food for my family. I have even been using some of her recipes from the meals she prepared which she makes available on her website. I would certainly use Denise again and I have already recommended her to friends and family!

Incredible! We heard about Chef Nickolas Holiday from friends who have hired him recently. After a few emails and phone calls Chef Nick showed up and served a 6 course dinner for me and 7 of my girl friends. We started with mango strawberry bellinis paired with these baked oyster with cheese and blue berry topping, along with proscuitto wrapped shrimp baked with a balsamic raspberry mixture. The next course was smoked chicken salad with a home made sweet and tangy dressing with goat cheese and grapes. Next was an itlian sausage and spinach pasta in red sauce over rigatoni. Then Chef Nick invited us into the kitchen to watch him cook skate wing, which is a beautiful fish that looks like angel wings. It was the best tasting fish we have ever had outside of Manhattan. For the main entree we had a middle eastern style lamb with a apricot and mint glazed topped crushed pistachios. Simply amazing..... And the presentation was artful. Finally came dessert. Berry filled creppes with butterscotch banana topping. Served with hot gin tea drink which im assuming is a signature thing. All all, the food was INCREDIBlE, the service was perfect and the chef was entertaining. I have and will continue to recommend CT Take Home Chef and Chef Nick to everyone.
Chef Jenn demonstrated a level of versatility and professionalism that can't be matched when she held a Thai cooking class for my bachelorette. With last minute notice and requests we were sure we would have had to compromise on she came through with exactly what we wanted. To top it off she did so quickly, and more flexibly than we could have ever asked for! She was knowledgeable, fun, and she fit right in with my crazy group of girlfriends making for an amazing night! I have used her tips and tricks frequently in my own kitchen and have used her recipes multiple times in my home and they are always a hit! Highly recommended!
Jason was an amazing teacher. Hired him to show me and my friend how to cook. Very knowledgeable, friendly and made learning how to cook so easy. I can't say enough good things about the entire expierence. Would 100% do again. If you want to learn to cook on any level he is someone I would highly recommend!!!!! Plan on having another lesson !!
