I see Kelly for both Reiki and Yoga sessions. Her gentle, healing touch during Reiki has helped me to relax during my busy lifestyle. Kelly’s vinyasa flow classes are amazing and follow a consistent upbeat flow. Sometimes at the end of the week I enjoy a great restorative yoga class to help me unwind after the work week. I highly recommend Kelly for both Reiki and Yoga sessions.
Being new to yoga, I was looking for the right yoga instructor who could help me reach peaceful sustainability, teach me health maintenance, advanced meditation techniques as well as teach me the basic yoga exercises/movements. A wealth of knowledge and training along with the personal attention to my ability, past medical history and future goals is very important to me. I attended several classes at my local gym an was not at all impressed with the instructors, class size, atmosphere and lack of education on the yoga principals/history. I came across Brian on Thumbtack while looking into private instructors in my area. I was immediately impressed with his training in yoga, physical fitness and nutrition. His certifications surpassed all other trainers in the area. So I decided to give him a try. I have had several private and group sessions to date and will enthusiastically continue to practice with Brian. Upon arrival I notice that his studio was pristine and welcoming. His use of aromatherapy as well as herbal teas creates a wonderful scent and a feeling of calm. Brian provided me with a private session to get to know me as a person, my health history, my future goals and introduced me to him and the history and variations of yoga practice. This was a wonderful session and he has since tailored my on-going personal an group sessions based on the information he obtained. Brian's classes are small and personal. Brian: - speaks clearly and his instruction is well-timed with the music and movements -the music is played at a safe speed and is appropriate for the group and atmosphere -Brian exhibits strong movements and posture and demonstrates them properly to the group and offers alternatives for newcomers -all movements are safe and he offers adequate safety tips - motivation and interaction: Brian is incredibly motivated and makes eye contact with participants as well as assist with poses - has an energetic an peaceful environment - Brian's classes have all the expected components; including an adequate warm-up, cool-down and stretch. Meditation is a big part of the classes and personal sessions. I always start and end up feeling completely relaxed and at peace I highly recommend Brian to novice-advanced yoga students. I am an avid martial artist for over 10 years and have added yoga to my repertoire to help advance my practice. I have taken yoga classes in multiple states and from many different teachers. Every teacher has their own style of teaching and area of expertise. Danielle Newton has given me some of the most relaxing and self loving sessions I have ever experienced. She starts class off with a reading that somehow always resonates deeply with what is going on in my life. She has brought me through relaxing spiritual meditations all the way to vigorous power sessions. I have never left one of her classes disappointed or let down. She has an amazing way of making you feel like she is right there with you even if its a full class or one on one. She treats all her students the same no matter what their level is. Her classes end off full circle bringing you right back to the beautiful words from her reading that she started class with. She is an amazing teacher who keeps the classes fun and fresh. She switches up each class and I always leave feeling so refreshed and relaxed. I would highly recommend!
My experience with Rasheem was incredible. His hands are very magical as he is very skilled in what he does. His combination of Qi Gong energy work, acupressure, shiatsu, fascia manipulation And Tai Yoga stretching did unbelievable wonders. It took away my pain and and had me totally relaxed. It felt like the perfect combination. I have never experienced a massage like that before. I am so spoiled as I will never allow myself to be treated by anyone else. I had a lot more energy than I had before massage. 60 minutes definately isn't enough time. You feel as if you want more and more time. I have been so blessed meeting Rasheem. New to yoga, I had never held poses as long as we did with Christine, 2-5 minutes each. I valued this type of practice because it gave plenty of time for static stretching and clearing my mind of complicated thoughts. I appreciated that Christine made the meditation applicable to my current life as it supported me to identify certain feelings and calm my mind--a tailor made yoga session :)

Jamie began his journey towards yoga with intense training in the Martial Arts under his stepfather and great aunt when he was thirteen. The rigorous physical and mental discipline pushed him towards developing body awareness, strength and flexibility. In high school, Jamie played football and became heavily involved in functional strength training and conditioning. After a lot of wear and tear from football, culminating in a torn meniscus, Jamie felt an intuitive urge to seek balance in his body. Already heavily involved in spirituality and non-physical yogic practices, Jamie came to liberation yoga for a restorative yoga class looking to relieve and relax his body after a heavy weight lifting session. He was immediately hooked on the practice of Hatha yoga. It was the perfect physical discipline to mirror, support and foster the mental, emotional and spiritual work Jamie was engaged in. For the next year, he steeped himself in practice. Looking to further his practice, knowledge and ability to share his experience of yoga with others, he went through Liberation School of Yoga with 200-hour certification program and has been an avid teacher ever since and even before. Jamie is also a Reiki Master, under the Usui Tradition. He believes that Reiki can be a direct path to recover aspects of ourselves that we have either lost or pushed below the surface. The more we learn to work with this energy, the more we become able to heal ourselves and the more we become whole. He feels that contact with Reiki energy encourages us and empowers us to take an active role in our individual healing processes. Jamie strives to integrate his knowledge of martial arts, yoga practices, spirituality and Reiki into all of his sessions. While not on his mat, he reads as many books as he can to possibly get his hands on, to further his knowledge and to feed his mind.
