Jessica has been amazing for me. First off, she has a very pleasant personality---which is always helpful. I contacted Jessica because I have sleep apnea and read that singing lessons could be helpful in building up the throat muscles and developing better breathing. I have also wanted to take voice lessons so it was two birds with one stone for me. I have been taking weekly lessons for about a month now and am already seeing improvement in both my voice and, more importantly, in my sleep quality. Jessica has gone the extra mile for me in finding voice exercises which will assist in my apnea. She has been doing some online researches and has even ordered a book on the subject. She is fun to work with and it is obvious that this is less about money than it is about her passion for music. Her rates are extremely reasonable and she is generous with her time. I look forward to many more lessons with her and cannot recommend her highly enough. Jessica is a true professional. If you have ever thought about voice lessons you cannot go wrong giving her a call.
They have a lot of experience teaching guitar lessons to people with all levels of musical ability. I really enjoyed working with them.
I have taken guitar lessons from Alan Donati for a number of years in order to better understand music. Being a weathered rock/blues drummer myself, I can attest that Alan is a very accomplished musician and seasoned music teacher who learned his craft via years of playing in rock, blues and jazz bands as well as attending Berklee as a solid foundation. Alan can teach a number of instruments well such as guitar, bass and piano alongside incorporating music theory with the practical applications. He is very adapt with technology as well as “old school”. I have seen Alan teach many students with great patience with tailored attention to the particular student’s interest. Some veteran musicians can only play well but not teach. However, Alan can obviously do both. And so I am giving Alan an outstanding review and rating.
I began taking piano lessons at 70 yrs of age and Barbara has been very patient and helpful in my learning process. I'm delighted to be able to read and play comfortably and continue to learn new things in spite of previous instrumental experience.
I've been taking piano lessons for over 6 months. He communicates well, is patience, and seems to enjoy what he's doing. And from not knowing, I feel I've made real progress and am enjoying the process.Highly recommend him.
My daughter has been a student of Elena's since 8 year old. She's now 14, and she continues to take piano lessons from Elena. Elena has been an incredible teacher who not only has taught my daughter how to play piano, but how to love every note she plays. We will continue to learn with Elena and recommend that if you want to love an instrument, not just play it, you learn how to love from Elena.
Dan is an outstanding piano teacher. As an adult student, I was particularly interested in finding an instructor who could help me understand both piano technique and music theory. Dan frequently made keen insights into how music works its special magic, which made taking lessons from him an extremely rewarding and enriching experience. Highly recommended!
Tim did a great job taking me from someone who had rarely sung to someone who then became very comfortable singing along with my part time profession of playing piano and keyboard. I was happy with my progress after working with Tim and him giving me the necessary coaching I needed.
He is awesome and personable!
He provided private alto sax lessons to my daughter for 7 years. She is an exceptional musician, and he played a very significant role.
It was great to meet Christyn. She is very sweet and puts you at ease. I am looking forward to a continued working relationship.
As her private student for 11 years, she has "saved my life"from the mundane by leading me into the magical and romantic world of classical music. Her impeccable training in Ukraine since the age of 6 has made her an outstanding pedagogue in music. You can feel her passion and enjoyment as she plays and teaches. I have made much progress from her tutelage and look forward to our lessons every week. Her personality is modest, confident and kind. She is beloved by her students, young and old. I met Tatyana just after she arrived in the US with minimum English skills. She took English lessons at the International House of Rhode Island where I was Executive Director, and quickly advanced to high levels of proficiency. She is extremely intelligent and creative in her teaching methods. She is a treasure, and students wishing to learn piano from her are the luckiest, including myself. I invite anyone interested in studying with her to email me with further questions or recommendations. from: Marilyn vonKriegenbergh Cranston, Rhode Island firstname.lastname@example.org
I've only just begun working with Martin, but I think we're off to a great start. I have very little by way of formal instruction, so I have a lot to learn, and I'm glad I've decided to take lessons, even though I'm in my 30s. Martin is very knowledgeable and patient, and his piano is just so lovely.
I had an overall amazing experience learning piano from Nikita. I recommend having him to teach your kid or if you personally want to learn piano. He takes his time and doesn't rush like other teachers I've been to. I had some music background before coming to his lessons, but I wasn't confident. Now I'm excelling in various musical pieces. Thank you Nikita!
John is a very talented music teacher. His passion for music truly comes through in his ability to teach and inspire. John taught my daughter guitar for a year ... we were sad that he was moving, otherwise he would still be teaching her! She learned a great deal and developed a true appreciation for music. What impressed me the most about John is that he is very patient, has a great way of interacting with kids, and really enjoys what he is doing. If a lesson needed to go over by a few minutes, it always did. That is very unusual with private lessons ... and was much appreciated! We highly recommend John as a guitar teacher.

I have always believed that the pursuit of any discipline in the arts stimulates the imagination, fine tunes motor skills, and is generally good for the soul. Learning a musical instrument can be a wonderfully rewarding experience, regardless of the style of music you pursue. I have been playing guitar for 41 years since I was a lad of 10, and I have been teaching for the last 31 years, offering private lessons at a very affordable price. Now, at age 51, I still genuinely love my craft and enjoy interacting with students of all ages and levels! Lessons are given in the comfort of my home studio. You will learn to read music notation, guitar notation, and tablature. I shall teach you the benefits of music theory, improvisation, and good technique. As you progress, I will help you with learning to master the songs that you want to play.
