Gregg worked with me to design a package of lessons I could give as a gift. He was flexible and helpful, and responded quickly. The actual lessons remain to be scheduled, but his website shows him to be a talented musician and dedicated teacher.

About

My 16 year old son has been taking guitar lessons from Tom for so many years I can't remember exactly how many it's been. Maybe five. Tom was born to teach (oh yes- and also be a musician!) He is kind and patient and really cares about his students as people, not just as musicians. In our heavily scheduled life, Tom never watches the clock. The lesson is over when it is complete, not when the timer beeps that 30 minutes is up. My husband and I would highly recommend Tom to anyone wanting to learn guitar - from beginner to expert, young to old. He's the best.

Austin has all the required qualities of a good guitar teacher. He is very patient, methodical, and pleasant, and has a good sense of humor. I have not played the guitar for 30 years and he has been helping me regain my previous skills. I would not hesitate to recommend him to students of different ages and levels of proficiency.

About

Playing guitar, writing songs and singing are joys that have changed my life. Making music is how I met my husband, how I've made friends around the world (even when I didn't speak their language) and I'm grateful to my students for their inspiration. I have a master's degree in education and have taught guitar lessons for over a decade. I also teach song writing and beginning voice. My teaching is unique because it's all about you! We discuss everything from your musical background growing up to what songs you want to play to why you want to play guitar and how will we measure your success? Rather than buying a methods book, I'll create one just for you based on your song choices and the skills you need and want to learn to play. You may purchase one lesson at a time or receive discounts by making a commitment of 8 or more lessons to be used within 3 months. PLUS you may play in the comfort of your own home: I can come to you in person or via SKYPE. Sound interesting? Visit my website (for student testimonials and songs). Then CALL ME and let's chat. Looking forward to playing with you! Peace through Music Mary
