Stew repaired the drywall in our kitchen after the backsplash was removed and he did an excellant job. Definitely will be hiring him for other projects.
Ramon is extremely accommodating and helpful. He checked my fan and came back the next day with a new transponder and remote. Installation was quick. He even did me an extra favor with installing new light bulbs in my living room Fan (extra high ceilings). I would definitely recommend him and will be hiring again for future electrical projects.
Couldn't have asked for a better communicator until project completion. Very professional and will absolute hire again for any project that comes up, as well as refer him! Thanks for the great work!
We needed an outdoor door replaced. Stuart was very helpful. He called when he was on his way. He measured the door and then met us at Home Depot. He helped us pick out the right kind of door, then loaded it up and took it back for us. Back at the house, he installed the door with no problem, brought us around to look at it, then replaced the lock and used heavier screws to make the door harder to break into. While he was at our house, we also had him take a look at the outside outlet. He spent quite a bit of time on it before determining it was dead. He then called his friend who is an electrician to set up an appointment with us to fix the outlet. Stuart was very helpful and professional. He is very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information to help us in the future. I would definitely recommend JCN Construction and would hire them again.
We did a complete renovation of our guest Bathroom. W&B Villa Construction were hired due to their many positive reviews on Thumbtack and the internet. Their part of the reconstruction was to install new tile backer board around the tub area, seal it and waterproof the joints, completely tile the tub area and both adjoining walls, floor to ceiling. Only the short wall with the door entrance wasn't tiled. The job included putting a large niche by the tub and tiling the difficult recessed bathroom window surround. Tiles were non rectified 12" x 24" porcelain of three different brands. You wouldn't know from the excellent joints that the tilers had to adjust constantly due to slightly different sizes among the brands and their being also slightly out of square. They showed up at 8 am every day and would extend their work day to finish a given stage of tile application so they were able to quickly continue the next day. The workers cleaned up every day, taking away any scrap and dirt from the home. They also included the water closet install when all work was done. Excellent results. Cost was $1,300.00 which included supplies, backer board, waterproofing tape and compound, thin set, and all the labor for three workmen. We supplied the tile and the grout as we had to pick the styles and color of both. Near the end of the installation I asked Gabriel, the contractor, if he would install the brushed nickel safety grab bar, toilet paper holder, towel rack and bathroom light fixture . This was no simple chore as many holes for mounting these fixtures had to be diamond drilled into the hard porcelain tile. Gabriel only charged an extra $120.00. These professionals did a superb job at what can only be called an exceptional cost Congratulations to contractor Gabriel Villaroel and his helpers Bernadetto and Bernardo. We hope we can have them on board for our master bedroom bathroom renovation this coming winter. Anthony and Florence Mondanaro
Mr. Small has completed NUMEROUS jobs for me from bathroom renovations to flooring, and room additions. He is ALWAYS professional, courteous, and his pricing is VERY competitive. I would recommend his company to EVERYONE I know. If you want quality work at an affordable price, T-Small Construction is the way to go!
Honestly, he was a lifesaver. He completely saved our grand opening. Our space needed immediate attention and he was there and made it amazing. He was so particular with detail that we are hiring him to do more work in our other gym. As far as we are concerned he will be our go-to guy for any construction needs!!
Leo and his lovely and hard working wife worked in our house for three weeks. We did some main remodellation such as two complete bathrooms which included wall construction, plumbing, electricity and painting. He did a great job and we are very happy with the work. He is a reliable and hard working handy man that can do just everything you need! He installed also a complete TV unit from Ikea and chandelliers around the house. Would take him anytime for another job, thanks Leo! From Alexia
Ronan is a very professional guy with a lot of knowledge in construction work, specifically wood and drywall work. He is very methodical in approaching the issue and think ahead to make sure, we don’t redo the work. He always listen to suggestions and make sure he doesn’t do stuff that will creat problems later on. His work quality and ethics is exemplary. I have not seen seen any one in this profession with that kind of value. He worked with us for almost 3 months, we never heard any issue communicating, designing, scheduling the project etc. He has done a Fabulous job in our basement, with a bedroom, closet, bathroom with shower, two big storage room, nice looking hallway, gym area and a lounge. All of these are in about 1100sq ft area. I highly recommend Ronan for any kind of construction work. He is very respectful, realizable and reasonable. Thank you Ronan for such a wonderful work. Good luck with everything.
Five star was a pleasure to work with. They were extremely carefull to protect the house during construction. We remodeled our master bath and painted the interior of our home. Nothing was damaged or messed up during the process. They were on time on a daily basis and completed the work as scheduled. Their workmanship is excellent. Also they were helpful in selecting material and colors for painting. The personnel on the job were pleasant and courteous. The owner, Jan Carlos is extremely responsive and answered our messages immediately. I highly recommend Five Star Finishes for their work product and the way they protect your home and the clean way they do their work. I would call them to do any work we have in the future. They deserve the five star rating and more Elliott wiener
I was very please with the quality and professionalism of R&B Construction. Charly and Joshua were always on time, worked quickly and cleaned up after work was finished for the day. I was especially pleased with Charly’s willingness to answer questions, give advice and transparency. He did a great job managing our expectations and was readily and easily available to answer questions and/or make changes. I was especially happy with the level of kindness and professionalism. Both Charly and Josh were polite and I was felt comfortable having them in our home. Their attention to detail was extraordinary and they both checked in frequently to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. I can’t say enough good things about R&B construction, Charly and Josh! Thanks guys!
Super personable guy who does great work. I highly recommend and will likely use Greg's services again. My only feedback is that, being in South Florida (and all that that implies about contractors), I would have preferred getting some sort of confirmation yesterday that they would show up this morning. But, like I said--great work. Great guy.
This is a reference for Lloyd Skip Clements. Over the past 10 years, Skip has done many projects at our house, large and small, from replacing some doors to totally remodeling a bathroom. Here are a few qualities we really appreciate about Skip: Dependable Skip reviews the project with us, describing what hes going to do, how long it will take, and a ballpark estimate of the cost. We can rely on Skips description being true for the end result. Trustworthy Sometimes we havent been able to be home when Skips been working here. Weve felt secure in leaving him with a key to our house. Hes just an honest guy, with high personal values. Superior Craftsmanship The bottom line is the end result. Skip consistently exceeds our expectations. Weve been amazed at how he has total command over the structure of our house. We asked him to replace a wall-mounted medicine cabinet with an inset cabinet. When he opened up the wall, we discovered that the studs werent in the right position to install the cabinet centered above the sink. No problem, Skip cut some stud sections and rearranged the configuration inside the wall so that the wall remained strong and the cabinet could be securely mounted in just the right position. Then he did some magic with spackle and paint around the cabinet, and when he was done it all looked like original construction perfect! With Skip Clements, you can be sure that the job will be done right, on time, and on budget! Steven & Carolyn Pollock
Mohammed and his team were hired to do a interior build out for my restaurant. He was able to perform his work after hours so my business doesn’t get interrupted. All the moving parts of the project were managed on time and professionally. Rapid Construction managed the hiring of all the subcontractors, plumber, electirican and AC guy so all I had to do was write the check. I had no problems or delays during the process other than the city that took too long to issue the permits. I’m looking toward to hiring them again for my next location.
Beclam Construction is an excellent, quality-oriented firm. Their goal is to provide high quality work and they see that goal to fruition. Owners, managers and staff alike take responsibility for providing great finishes, service and follow up. They are responsive and reactive, and all issues are responded to immediately. Thanks to Elizardo, Michel, and the entire Beclam team for a job well done.
LPBI Construction did excellent work, with good value. Ashley Boe was always punctual, professional,, reliable, with great work ethics. We would use him again and recommend LPBI.
Luis is the eagle you want managing your project. He is very detailed and knows how to work with the city to get your project green-lighted and completed the right way, the first time. Due to Luis' skills, we saved thousands not having to hire a separate architect to draw new blueprints for our entire house - he did the work himself. There are no worries hiring Conquer Builders - Luis is an outstanding GC.
Jaime has been really terrific in getting my condo fixed up and ready for sale. He has done a variety of jobs whcih has included coordinating the work of other specialists including plumbing, kitchen remodeling, painting, cleaning, blind installation etc. He has been punctual, has done excellent work, has been a pleasure to deal with from a personal perspective and has reasonable prices to boot. I recommend him highly.
Roger Rodriguez is personable, professional and knowledgeable. He was prompt and responsive from the first contact for a 300 sq. ft. room addition. His bid was reasonable and the project stayed on budget. Throughout it he was consistently willing to go the extra mile as needed. As far as the construction itself, the team did an exemplary job from the pilings through the finish work. We are thrilled with the result.
Great work, great prices!
Five Construction build a detached, oversized, 3 car garage for me. (actually a 2 car garage with a work-shop/man-cave). It included a bathroom and shower, and was designed with exterior features (such as dormers) to match my house perfectly. The building is extremely well built, with important details such as block and tie-beam gables (Normally GC's will make these plywood and stucco). The build went exceptionally well. I have contracted several other buildings in the past, and this experience was by far the best. They work closely with the homeowner to reduce costs where possible, while delivering a high quality building. My build is more of a shop, and is built to be rugged. Nothing fancy. I wanted it that way because.... well... it's a shop. (also wanted to contain costs). It does have a fully finished and drywall interior throughout, insulated attic with ladder access, great/solid window and door work, and the bathroom is actually pretty nice with the tile work. I have seen other Five Construction projects that were beautiful, elegant, and very fancy. The team can do a wide range of project types from the utilitarian (like mine), to the elaborate. The number 1 thing I most appreciated from Five Construction is the Integrity, communications, and service I received. Like any custom build, surprises happen, issues arise, changes, updates and modifications... all are to be expected. In the case of Five Construction, when something popped up, the owner of the business was right on top of it, getting it right, and getting it done. In fact, Mr. Tiedeman (the owner) performed constant quality checks and walkthroughs of his team and/or subs. The work site was kept very neat and free of debris throughout the build. This is in fact pretty rare in the GC business. Normally, the homeowner is constantly tugging the sleeve of the GC to correct issues, clean up the site, or make changes... and wondering if they will ever return a phone call. Absolutely not the case with these folks. They were always in communication and gave clear status reports on schedule, inspections, Subs, and any pop-ups. Just excellent all the way around. This General Contractor is a veteran of the US NAVY, and consistently goes above and beyond the call of duty to ensure you receive exceptional value, and quality, at a reasonable price. I highly recommend them for your build/renovation project.
