Matteo is very compassionate, dedicated, genuine and honest man and he treated Ruby as if she was his own. I received daily updates and could consult with him as many times as I wanted, he always answered back right away and even called several times just to keep me calm and reassure me that Ruby was doing great (I was having separation anxiety while Ruby was living her best life and learning her basic commands). Signing Ruby up for 3 weeks of basic commands and obedience training with Matteo at Dogs and Stripes K9 training was the best decision ever! To say Matteo and his training knowledge and methods exceeded my expectations doesn’t do it justice. Ruby is an extremely stubborn (and smart) Dutch Sheppard and to see her do all the basic commands on cue is a testament to Matteo’s devotion to his trade and his dogs. Yes, his dogs, because he automatically becomes Uncle Matt and part of the pack. Thank you Matteo for teaching Ruby and I the basics to keep her safe and happy.
