Karen is amazing! I really enjoy taking lessons. I am learning a lot about singing, including my bad habits. If you are looking for an instructor for voice lessons, no matter your level, then Karen is the real deal!
This was the first ever voice lesson that i have taken and sandra lacey helped me discover my range and showed me things that can do to improve. Just on the first day. Great teacher.
Jillian has been wonderful. Shortly after she started teaching our 4-year old boy, my husband decided to take lessons as well. It's been such a fun process so far!
Ciara is wonderful! She's professional, approachable and overall she's great to work with. I'm excited to continue lessons with her.
Leslie is a great teacher, patient with me as a beginner and a great motivator. Looking forward to continuing my voice lessons with her.
I have been taking piano lessons from Ms. Bev for over 8 years now and she has been nothing but kind and helpful. I have learned music technique, history, and theory from her and I have improved greatly since I began taking lessons at the age of 8. She is very fun and incredibly passionate about music.
Gabriel is a great instructor. I have only been taking lessons for about a month and I'm amazed at how I've progressed. He makes it all very easy to grasp. I definitely recommend.
I immediately felt a change in my voice after just a few lessons with Ms. Karen. She is an excellent teacher, and works very professionally. With her guidance, I have expanded my range greatly and have learned many different styles of singing. I have been able to work out certain "kinks" in my voice that I'd had for ages as well. Last November, I gained a superior rating at the district Solo and Ensemble festival-- which I could not have gotten without Karen's valuable help and experience. Additionally, I have received a part in my school's musical with her assistance for my audition piece. I am very comfortable around her and I put much trust into her work. She is a very kind woman, and I feel like I can achieve anything with my voice because of her. Karen cares so much for all of her students and I am extremely gracious that I have Ms. Karen for a teacher.
I have always wanted to sing but never really had the chance. She is very flexible with time and the singing lessons are amazing and fun! We do fun activities to warm up our voices and I feel very comfortable around her. She does a wonderful job and I really enjoy taking lessons from her! ❤️❤️❤️

Kirsten was professional but very down to earth and made me feel as relaxed as possible.

Mr. & Mrs. Fleck both received Bachelor of Music degrees plus one year's study toward their Masters (on full fellowship) at the renowned Eastman School of Music, Rochester, NY and both received the coveted Performers Certificate from that institution. Mrs. Fleck studied there as a younger student in the Preparatory Department of ESM as a budding concert pianist. The lure of New York City proved too strong for them to complete their masters degree....Bill was invited to join the Metropolitan Opera Studio...the touring wing of the parent company...and both he and Lynne went on to establish themselves as talented professional performers for several years in NYC before being invited to relocate to San Francisco to join Western Opera Theater, again, a touring company associated with the San Francisco Opera Company....they've both done a bit of touring! When those engagements were terminated (nobody stays with WOT more than three years) and a faculty position opened up at CSU, Sacramento, Bill applied and was appointed as assoc. Professor of voice and opera at that school. When his professional engagements took him out of town, Lynne was a natural choice to provide the students with the instruction they needed....the students actually benefitted from the slightly different perspective of soprano and bass-baritone voice examples. As all good things do, the job came to an end because of the lack of an advanced degree and the Flecks moved once again, this time to the Boston area where Bill had established himself as a regular with the famed Boston Opera under Sarah Caldwell and also where he secure a position as voice/opera teacher at the University of Lowell. When he got too busy with rehearsals at the Boston Opera, guess who again filled the gap left by his absence....you got it...Lynne! Well, after a few years went by, Bill was tapped to join the Metropolitan Opera as a regular artist, meaning that he performed several times a week in both supporting and featured roles, while "covering"....read "standing by"...for the lead roles which were performed by international stars. Lynne had quite a number of piano students coming to their home in Ridgefield, CT during this period. They just recently moved from CT to New Smyrna Beach where they will not miss, one bit, the ice and snow of New England

I am a high school choral, piano and theater teacher who has studied the arts at the post-secondary level. I thoroughly enjoy all aspects of the performing arts, and I strive to instill a passion for the performing arts within my students.
As a teacher, I focus equally on formal technique and personal expression. Mastering correct form provides the foundation, upon which a student's capacity for the latter may grow. I view our time together as an opportunity to encourage musical and personal growth. My goal is to encourage discipline while fostering creativity. Maintaining the student's interest by adapting my teaching methods to every individual is an important focus, as is engaging the student by allowing him/her choice in the material we learn in lessons. This not only facilitates a cooperative environment, but also allows me to tailor my teaching style to the student's interests, strengths, and learning preferences. My tuition for private instructions are as follows: * 30 minutes for $25 * 45 minutes for $37.50 * 60 minutes for $50 I believe music theory is an important focus for a student to understand how tones relate to each other in any piece of music. These relationships will be explored aurally, visually, and tactilely in all lessons. In teaching, my goal is to encourage students to learn and grow independently. In my studio (or your home), mistakes are opportunities for improvement. For the duration of our lesson, you (or your child) are in a nurturing zone of freedom of expression. Join me in an exploration of personal talent and creativity.
