After reading the reviews i decided to hire him and we set a time. He arrived on time and began to set up. Inspecring the attic and ac components actually giving me ideas on what to repair later or on my own. He then began to work deodorizing and cleaning the vents. I was skeptable about the process but after he was done it really worked. The house was cooler the vents were cleaner and blew much stronger. Im definatelt going to recommend him to other family and friends ans ill use him again on other projects.

Excellent. Will use him again in the future and will certainly recommend to neighbors and friends. Knowledgeable, friendly, efficient, and good pricing. By the way he did an electric stove repair for us. Does all appliances and HVAC. Only thing that could have been better would have been if I had found him and called him first.

Hired him to install a dishwasher and an over the range microwave. Ended up also fixing a leak under kitchen sink, fastening a pedestal to a dryer, swapped out door locks and even mounted my direct tv box to my wall. Happy with all services and glad he was there to fix the things my wife wanted done. Will hire again and so should you.

First of all, Tim is one of the most genuine contractors we've ever did business with. From the beginning of the project even before starting the job his goal was to make sure that we were comfortable with him as a person first and foremost. During the whole process he kept in constant communication, was incredibly focused and detailed, and most of all had pride in craft (which is really hard to find. He and his team got the job done in a timely manner and kept everything as clean as possible. There's lots of people out there who take advantage of your lack of knowledge in their field (i.e. contractors and mechanics), but Tim and his team educated us in what they were doing and the cost associated with it, and this made all the difference in the world. If you are looking for a down to earth handyman who is great at what he does, look no further. We plan to continue to work with Tim in the near future. The work that was done: New Shower install Handy work in the kitchen and bathroom Thanks Tim!!

Barry did a great job cleaning our dryer vent--on time, polite, through, he even went into the attic to make sure the exhaust pipe was in good order. I would hire him again and highly recommend him.

They came out within a day or so. Friendly staff. I hadn't cleaned the dryer vent in 15 years. Poor service tech was covered in dust. He cleaned up after himself. Totally needed their help. Spent about $170 including duct cleaning

I had a few odds and ends repairs that needed to be done in my kitchen. I had already used another company to do the same work previously, but because of the shoddy work they did, I called CPR. The repairs were just little things and based on the amount I paid them, I doubt they made much profit. Yet the level of excellent customer service and great attention to detail are unmatched!! I'm so thankful there are still some honest, hard-working people out there :) Thanks CPR!

OMG, all I can say is WOW!!!. Integrity Pro did an absolutely AMAZING job. Thank you, Thumbtack for providing a company that REALLY does business how it should be done. They were very professional and cordial and what’s best is they did a fantastic job. We not only needed cleaning but in speaking to their representative Keli, we learned they provide all types of services relating to properties. We have been looking for a painter as well and were going to get a cleaning before the painters come in so we can show the property. Their representative Keli saved us money by explaining it was better to get the painting done first and then do the cleaning since it is a vacant home. So instead of them charging me twice for cleaning once the painting crew was done, she ended up saving me more than $500. Now that’s INTEGRITY. The customer service was outstanding. Keli seem to listen to my every word and was very attentive to my needs. I learned alot speaking with Keli but most importantly I learned they are a one stop shop for property care. So I allowed them to take on my painting project first before the cleaning. I am a Real Estate Investor with many properties and time restraints that really needed this property to be completed fairly quickly. So it’s good for me, they are a full service company. The painters they sent were very professional guys that were very meticulous about their work. They moved very efficiently through the property and did not get in each others way. In fact, they even sent extra guys to get the job done even faster. I still can’t believe they finished a 4900 sq ft home in 1 day. Now, I understand why this company is super busy. The quality of their work speaks volumes and I will be keeping them busy with all of my properties from now on. Thanks again Thumbtack & Integrity Pro, you guys are the best!!

I just have to say that our dealings with William Cerbone and his professional crew was the best experiance we have ever had with any contractor. We had our kitchen remodeled and they did everything from floor to ceiling. We also got the best estimate a few thousand dollars less than any other estimate. My wife and I worked closely with William in designing the layout of the kitchen we added an island, all new cabinets, crown molding, granite counter tops, and new tile flooring. We could not be any happier with the work that William and his crew did. They were clean and the work was done on his promissed time frame. We would recommend Punch List Construction to any one looking for quality work for a reasonable and fair cost. Done right and done on time. We are completely satisfied and get complements everytime someone sees our new kitchen. We love it.. Thank You William of Punch List Construction. Perry D West Palm Beach, FL

Joey and Joe are true professionals. We hired them to remodel our kitchen. They installed 12 cabinets, two countertops with sink, an over-the-range microwave, dishwasher, and crown molding on the cabinets and walls. We have a non-standard size kitchen with not-too-straight walls. They were very precise and made everything fit together perfectly. They have great attention to detail and are very responsive to questions. They went 'above and beyond' in providing finishing touches. The kitchen looks spectacular! They were on time, worked through the day, and cleaned up before they left. Their price was extremely reasonable. We plan to use them again soon for another project. We highly recommend them.

    Q & A

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

Do you need to clean your air ducts?

Air duct cleaning is done by heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) professionals. The pros use industrial-strength, truck-mounted vacuums and powerful brushes and hoses to clean inside the metal ducts that make up your forced air heating and cooling system. The Environmental Protection Agency recommends duct cleaning if there is “substantial visible mold growth inside hard surface ducts, ducts that are infested with vermin such as rodents or insects, or ducts that are clogged with excessive amounts of dust and debris and/or particles are actually released into the home from your supply registers.”

You should also have air ducts cleaned after recent water contamination or water damage to prevent mold; after renovations or remodeling to ensure debris and dust didn’t settle in the vents and ducts; if you are having problems with allergies or asthma; or when you are moving into a newly purchased home, especially if the previous owners smoked or had pets. The National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA) recommends getting your air ducts cleaned every three to five years, or every two to three years in regions where homeowners use their air conditioning and heater for many months of the year, while the EPA suggests homeowners have duct cleaning done as needed.

How often should you get your air ducts cleaned?

How often you should clean your air ducts depends on your situation. If you or someone in the home has asthma or is acutely allergic to certain airborne materials or pollen, regular duct cleaning may be helpful. The Environmental Protection Agency doesn’t have an official position on the necessity of air duct cleaning unless the ducts have been contaminated by rodents, insects or mold, or you are aware of particles blowing out through the vents. The EPA recommends you have your air ducts cleaned on an as-needed basis. The National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA) suggests having air ducts cleaned every three to five years.

Be cautious with companies that offer “whole house air duct cleaning,” urges the NADCA. The company may be using unscrupulous tactics to upsell you once they get started. Before any work begins, always clarify in writing what the job entails and what the cost will be. To protect yourself against fraud, read customer reviews and verify that your HVAC cleaning service has applicable licenses and certifications.

How much does it cost to replace air ducts in a house?

If your air ducts have been damaged, you’ll need to replace them. The national average air duct replacement cost is $150-$280, which may not include materials. Factors such as duct material, labor, location of ducts and linear feet of ductwork will all affect your final costs. Labor costs will vary based on how accessible the ducts are and what material your ducts are made of. The least expensive duct material is a flexible, non-metallic ducting that costs approximately $1-$2 per linear foot. Flexible aluminum is generally more expensive and stronger than non-metallic ducting. Stainless steel ducting is the strongest, the least flexible (meaning installing it typically has higher labor rates), and usually the most expensive. An average price for air duct replacement could range between $35 and $55 per linear foot, including basic materials and labor. A typical single-family home has 6-10 duct runs; replacing or installing one duct run could average $150-$250 for labor.

How long does it take to get your ducts cleaned?

The amount of time air duct cleaning takes can depend on how extensive your duct system is, how old your air ducts are, and whether they have ever been cleaned. On average, expect a standard size home (between 2,000 and 3,000 square feet) to take 2-5 hours for one to two technicians to clean. Here are the proper protocol and equipment you should expect from a professional duct cleaning service, as recommended by the Environmental Protection Agency:

    • All doors and access ports opened to ensure the entire duct system is inspected and cleaned.
    • Thorough system inspection prior to cleaning to identify possible asbestos-containing materials. If asbestos is present, specially trained and equipped contractors must do the removal.
    • Use of approved vacuum equipment that exhausts particles outside of your house. If the vacuum exhausts inside your home, it must be HEPA equipment.
    • Furnishings and carpet covered and protected.
    • Soft-bristled brushes only on fiberglass duct board and sheet metal ducts internally lined with fiberglass.
    • Ductwork properly protected.
    • Adherence to guidelines and practices set down by the National Air Duct Cleaners Association.

How much does it cost to have your air ducts cleaned?

If you’re concerned about dust, allergens or mold, it may be time to have your air ducts cleaned. The national average cost for air duct cleaning ranges from $190 to $250. Air duct cleaning costs will vary based on a number of factors such as your location in the country, the age and condition of your air ducts, the number of linear feet to be cleaned, and any repairs your ducts may need. HVAC cleaning companies should clearly outline what is included in their services and at what rate, so always make sure you understand and have a written agreement before work begins. Here are some examples of average air duct cleaning costs:

    • Tiered pricing for different levels of service:
      • Standard cleaning: $100, which may include truck-mounted industrial vacuums, high-pressure air wands and air snakes to clean all supply and return vents, branch lines, and main trunk lines.
      • Advanced cleaning: $200, which may include standard cleaning services, plus rotobrush or viper clean sweep in the main trunk lines.
      • Ultimate cleaning: $400, which may include advanced cleaning, plus insertion of a viper microline into all vents to force debris down the branch lines and into the main trunk lines, to be handled by the viper clean sweep. Typically, all ductwork surface is contacted, before-and-after photos are provided, and the furnace is cleaned.
    • A flat rate for unlimited vents: $289.
    • Additional fees for larger houses: $20 for each additional 500 square feet over 2,500.
