If you are looking for a caterer for any reason, stop your search here. Chef Brian is the greatest to work with! Dade County Food Group catered my 100 person wedding.... And HAMD MADE GNOCCHI for everyone. I believe Chef Carlos was up for many hours the night before rolling out the tiny gnocchi for my guests- now that's service! Cocktail hour was such a hit that my guests are still craving the chicken and waffles and bacon wrapped, goat cheese stuffed dates! (Ps- Please let Brian add bacon to your menu! They are bacon magicians). I had such a wonderful experience working with Brian and his entire team from the private food tasting, to his help with referrals, to my wedding day. Brian's staff was professional, looked great, was earlier than on time and even had everything cleaned and organized before they left. Now for Brian's wait staff and bartenders- my guests are STILL talking about the level or service they got! Usually people gush over the flowers, the food, or (blush) the bride! But my guests were most impressed with how wonderfully the staff served the food, tended the bar, cleaned up plates, and glasses never went empty! It started pouring after our cocktail hour, so Brian's staff physically moved one of the bars and all the alcohol/ drinks under the tent and kept pouring the bubbly. If there was an issue, I never knew about it. That's what you want on your wedding day- a caterer who serves amazing food and provides your guests with an amazing experience all while keeping you stress free! Thank you Brian, Carlos and team! You guys are my caterers for life !

Damaris was incredible. Not only as an officiant to our ceremony, but also by helping organize our bridal party, keep our bride at ease and recommend placement of the procession. My wife and I could not have been happier with That Awesome Entertainment Co. The company was recommended to us by my then brother-in-law to be who found them through good reviews online and after a very brief meeting, we had a good feeling about them. After meeting with Jessica and Franco, we pretty much knew we would pick them for our wedding. We felt they both understood us and our kind of music and the kind of atmosphere we were hoping for although we come from different cultures, Jessica and Franco assured us they would be able to create a fusion of the music that we relate to. Prior to our wedding both Jessica and Franco were in constant communication with us planning out everything. They made sure he could pronounce the bridal party and parent's names and they went over all the details of how the night would run. Jessica was also our wedding planner which made our life so much easier as she took care of gathering all the information from our other vendors, contacted them and made sure that they were all on the same page in order to deliver the best possible outcome on our big night. My wife and I had a few special requests which was addressed perfectly by Jessica and we went over the type of music that we wanted to be played throughout the night and Franco was able to get a good sense of what we wanted and crushed it. The dance floor was always full, even before dinner was served. So much that we didn’t even get a change to finish our food since the music was so great that the requests to dance with us were endless. So many people came up to us during the wedding and afterwards praising both Jessica and Franco. Our families come from very different cultures and on our wedding night the dance floor was basically a big melting pot where we all enjoyed all types of music. Both my wife and I have a distinct taste in music and thanks to Franco, our family and guests were able to experience that. We cannot thank you guys enough for what you did on what has been the most important night of our lives so far and we appreciate all the effort that you put into it. You guys were really AWESOME!!

I hired Lori to cater my sister's bridal shower. We had a luau theme, and Lori came up with a great menu that fit the theme. Doreen and Bill were right on time and got right to work. They were awesome! They were friendly, polite to everyone, and kept the food coming! The bacon wrapped pineapple and mango chicken on the edible spoon were so yummy! Everyone loved them. The ladies also loved that the tails had been removed from the coconut shrimp, as we all struggle with how to bite them elegantly at parties, and then what to do with the tails? So, that was very thoughtful. Doreen and Bill had everything plated and ready to go right on time, and they filled anything that started to empty quickly and efficiently. I had the pistachio fish, which was so good. A lot of people had the chicken too. My grandmother said it was the best key lime pie she has ever had. Everyone I checked with said the food was very good, and many people asked for the caterer's name. I would definitely recommend Lori!

Janeal did an excellent job helping me plan and decorate for my sisters bridal shower. She even went with me to look at some vendors. The centerpieces, photoprops, and desert table all looked beautiful. Not to mention the deserts she makes are delicious! She is very talented and sweet, and I already have people messaging me asking what company I used for my sisters bridal shower because it was so beautiful. Here is the letter I sent Christie after my wedding, for which Christie herself did the airbrush makeup for me, my mom, and 7 bridesmaids/maid of honor. One of her associates Bonney did the makeup for all of the above as well. I was really impressed with Christie's professionalism, flexibility, and endless kindness. Wedding planning is similar to event planning in that a planning team handles the coordination of multiple wedding elements including catering, venue, guests, entertainment, decor, transportation and more. How much do day-of wedding coordinators cost?

A day-of wedding coordinator makes sure that every detail of your wedding day goes off without a hitch, and deals quickly and quietly with any last-minute emergencies. For many brides, the day-of wedding coordinator is their best investment! The average national cost for a wedding coordinator is $800 to $1,000. Although full-service wedding coordinators often charge a percentage of the total wedding budget, most day-of coordinators charge a flat fee plus an additional hourly fee if the day runs long. For example, a 15-hour day-of coordination costs an average of $600, plus an additional $45 per hour if the coordinator works more than the planned 15 hours. Another option is to hire a coordinator to manage the last-minute details leading up to the event; for example, 25 hours of month-of coordination costs an average of $1,200. Several factors affect the cost of day-of coordination, including the region, the planner’s experience, and the specifics of the wedding. What should you ask a wedding coordinator?

When you hire a wedding coordinator, you want to make sure he or she gets you and can execute perfectly your vision of your dream wedding. To find the very best fit, it’s important to ask these five questions:

  • Are you available on my wedding date? If the coordinator isn’t available on your big day, there’s no reason to continue the interview — unless you’re willing to shift your date to accommodate their schedule.
  • What’s average cost of most of your weddings? If the coordinator’s usual wedding is outside your range, they might not be the right coordinator for you. Ask whether the coordinator requires a minimum wedding budget. In general, the wedding coordinator’s fee should be about 15 percent of your budget.
  • What is your speciality? Some coordinators specialize in day-of coordination, some create the overall vision, and others act as a producer. Make sure your wedding coordinator provides the type of services that will most help you create the event you have in mind, such as selecting vendors and handling their contracts, or managing the guest list and invitations.
  • What are your ideas for fulfilling our wedding vision? After you describe your dream wedding — rustic or sophisticated, traditional or funky — the wedding coordinator should be able to suggest appropriate venues, menus, decorations, etc..

Do I need a wedding day coordinator?

Even if you’ve handled every detail of planning your wedding, you might appreciate having a day-of wedding coordinator in your corner. Usually, the coordinator meets with you a few weeks before your wedding to put together a detailed timeline of everything that needs to happen on your wedding day. Then, on the big day, the coordinator makes sure everything goes according to plan — and handles any emergencies that pop up, such as party crashers, missing tuxedos, late vendors, disappearing bridal party members and more. Most wedding coordinators also handle:

  • Distributing the wedding day timeline to all of your vendors.
  • Coordinating all of your vendors, including the photographer, florist and baker.
  • Conducting the wedding rehearsal.
  • Helping the bride and her wedding party get dressed and take photos.
