How do I find someone to fix my sprinkler system?

You can find a sprinkler repair professional by conducting a little bit of online research. This gives you access to their ratings and customer reviews. Some customers will even submit photos of their sprinkler systems that were fixed by the pros. But before you hire a professional, contact them. Ask them questions about their expertise, tell them about your sprinkler problem and request free cost estimates.

How do I increase water pressure in my lawn sprinklers?

Figure out why your sprinkler has low water pressure and determine if you need to make any repairs. There could be an issue with the valve, a leak or the sprinkler heads may need cleaning. If the water pressure is low in your house as well (check your water pressure regulator), the problem may be with the municipal water supply.

Why is one sprinkler zone not working?

One sprinkler zone could be malfunctioning for several reasons, although the most obvious one — a closed valve — is often the culprit. Check to see if the main system valve is closed. It’s easy to forget to turn this back on after repairs. Other causes for failed sprinkler zones are electrical issues within the valve, timer, wiring or solenoid. A common reason is a bad connection that needs to be re-soldered.

How long do sprinkler systems last?

Sprinkler systems generally last around 20 years, though you might occasionally experience a malfunction. And, low-quality sprinkler heads may not last as long.

Why won’t my sprinklers pop up?

Several problems can prevent sprinkler heads from popping up. For example, here are a few possible culprits:

  • The valve is partially closed.
  • There’s dirt, sand or debris between the sprinkler’s cap and riser.
  • There's low water pressure.
  • There are leaks in the water line.

John was amazing. I placed the request on Thumbtack and within a few minutes he responded. He came early the next day and ended up spending several hours replacing a faulty timer and several other features related to the sprinkler system. His price was extremely fair , his work was meticulous and the dog loved him. I would not hesitate to use him again, and I would recommend him to anyone seeking sprinkler repair service.

Irrigation Solutions did a great job evaluating our irrigation system and coming up with several solutions to consider based on the cost. We chose to have them replace every sprinkler head and fix several broken pipes in our yard. They fixed some critical problems on the day they came to evaluate the system, and completed the remaining work on time. They showed us clearly the problems and did a great job with the repair. We are going to put them on a maintenance contract to check our system every 6 months. Highly recommend!

My old control box blew. My entire system was not working. I called Jack he was over the next day went all over my entire system made all the repairs my wires were all messed up and Jack had to figure out everything. He installed a new control box put in new heads and explained the system to me. He is very knowledgeable Jack has been in business many years he can repair any sprinkler you have. My neighbor is also, hiring him for broken lines. He will stand by his work and when you call him you get Jack not some office women that just takes calls. You can ask him over the phone about your problem and he may even walk you threw it. One more thing his prices are very good and you will not get ripped off like some of the big companies.
