Piano lessons for a 6 year old. Dave is great with her, even though it is difficult to keep her focused on the lesson; he keeps it cool and gets her interested.

I have been involved with music most of my life. I have studied voice, the clarinet, piano and guitar. I am once again taking the piano lessons after stopping many years ago. I can honestly say that of all my tutors and coaches, I have not met one who was more dedicated, caring or who poured out such love for their students than Shazkya Fernandez. Bravo!

Michael has been a big help in such a little time. His experience is more than the actual lesson itself. Even speaking about the history of his career makes a big difference in one's learning and further intensifies the piano lesson. He is a tremendous person to anyone not just looking for a teacher but also a coach and confidant. He will broaden your skill no matter where you would like to be in your playing career. He is patient, talented, brilliant and humble. Book him if you are looking for an all around instructor.

I wanted to start piano lessons for my 3 year old son and everyone thought he was too young. Not Michael! He gladly accepted the challenge and we are beyond pleased with the results. After only a few months, my son can now read music/notes and is working on a few songs. Michael is very patient, super punctual, and truly seems to love the art of music. I feel very fortunate to have found such an amazing teacher for my preschooler!

Danny really listened to my objectives. He is open to my suggestions, but is tactfully honest about what we should work on immediately, and what should be left to phase 2. He is also fun to work with.

In the years we've had lessons the staff and teachers at Key to Music have been so excellent! The school worked to put my children with teachers that match their learning styles. My children love to go to music lessons, and they even practice in between without too much nagging. The people I've referred to Key to Music have been very happy as well. One of the great benefits is that the students get opportunities to perform in the community, and that there are free group lessons on many Saturdays.

About

I am a private teacher who has spots open for potential students. I have been teaching for a few years, and have recently attained a degree from FAU in commercial music. I have relocated to Palm Beach Gardens from further south, so I am looking for a completely new set of students. I am well-versed in music theory; at FAU I skipped a good portion of their theory classes after I tested out of them. I have also gone to Bak MSOA, Dreyfoos, and have been in All-State events for several years when I was in middle and high school, including the reading choir (the hardest to get into) three out of my four years, so I know how to prepare for and what is required for those auditions. My rates and basic information regarding lessons: 1. $20 for half an hour, $30 for an hour. I can host, or come to my students. However, if the drive is more than 10 miles, $5 will be added on to the lesson cost, and I will drive no more than 15 miles from where I'm located. 2. All piano students must have a keyboard of some kind to practice on. 3. Lessons can be at any time interval that is convenient for you, but regular weekly or bi-weekly lessons are recommended. 4. I do NOT take any students under the age of six years old. 5. Students will be expected to practice regularly, and students who don't will be dropped. For more information regarding lessons and my lessons policies, or my resume and qualifications, email me at the address that is linked to this ad. (If you're seeing this from thumbtack, just simply respond to the ad.) If you're response is not clear and easy to understand, I will not respond.

My work stands out from others who give piano lessons because I have been a classroom teacher for 5 years. I am aware of differing learning styles and I am ready, willing, and able to adapt my teaching style to best suit the student. I also offer a private, small-business feel that you won't get at a studio.

You could learn from the initial lesson via progressive chords. Eventually, you'd be able to play beautiful and fantastic sounds, all on a white grand.
