C&C carpet care is hands down the best carpet cleaners in the business. My wife and I needed to get out of our current apartment in a hurry and we sourced C&C carpet care to help us. Craig the owner came out and did an amazing job for an amazing price. He is very customer oriented and did not overcharge us at all. It was one flat rate with no hidden extras. He also informed me on procedures renters can take in the event the landlord try's to get shady. Hands down the best service, best price, best customer service we have ever had. I highly reccomend if your looking for a carpet cleaning service to call C&C. C&C will be the only carpet cleaning service we will use from here on out!

We have lived in Ponte Vedra 11 years and had tried all of the well-known carpet steam cleaners. Nobody cleaned our carpet as well as K.N.E. The husband-wife team worked at our house past 11pm on a Fri. night until the job was well-done, and their prices are very reasonable! High recommendation!

Quick Response, Excellent Work. Before coming to my home, Victor gave me a solid quote on the work I needed performed, and that is what I paid at the completion of job. Much unlike two other Carpet Cleaners who Advertised one price in an ad, Hem-Hawed around on the Phone about a solid quote, and then asked for a totally different (and much higher) figure once they got to my house. Truth in advertising and honesty are worth a lot in today's world and Victor displayed both of those qualities in our transaction. Great Company, I will definitely use again if I have the need.

This was for a move-out. Alvenia was awesome. She was on time and very professional. She even returned one of my bracelets she found in the carpet while cleaning. The house looked great when she was done! I was very hesistent at first not going with a bigger business but I glad I went with Alvenia.

Our carpet needed some spot cleaning from dog urine and footprints near the front door, so that's why I turned to Thumbtack. Most of the quotes I received were for full blown carpet cleaning of all of the rooms in our house and the prices reflected that. Nate mentioned that was not necessary and as promised, his cleaners came by and used a vinegar and baking soda solution to soak the dirty spots and then used a brush and hot water to lift the stains out! Really impressed by the quality of the work and would highly recommend!

I was caught up by surprise and did not realize how close the holidays were. My family was coming to town and my entire home was a total mess, interior and exterior. It was Sunday morning but I had some hope someone would show up. I called several companies and even called people on Craigslist, to no avail. Where were all the great cleaning service companies when I had a last minute emergency? I was beginning to lose hope when finally, searching online, I found a company that would serve my last minute cleaning needs without hesitation. Jessie's House and Carpet Cleaning is the best service I've ever hired. Called them on a Sunday at 11 a.m. and they were at my doorstep in less than an hour! I was very impressed. They did a variety of services. House cleaning, carpet cleaning, tile and grout cleaning and sealing, exterior window cleaning, and pressure washing on a Sunday! And, since they did not get to finish cleaning all the areas that same day, they came back the next morning to complete the task. They provided quality of service and exceptional customer service even during non-business hours. It does not get better than that. I hope this review helps you make an informed decision when hiring a cleaning service.

We had an urgent situation which required specific carpet-cleaning skills and we had guests en-route. Mr. Franco was prompt, thorough and provided several options for cleaning. Additionally, Mr. Franco was very instructive of what steps were required, on our part, to complete the procedure. In summary, we felt Mr. Franco's value-proposition was well-worth the fee and his performance exceeded our expectations.

(Watch the video at: http://www.jessieshousecleaning.com/video-testimonial-jacksonville-fl.html) Jessie’s: Please introduce yourself. Ann T.: Hi, I’m Ann T., I’m a long time resident of Jacksonville Florida. I’ve been here for about 45 years. Jessie’s: How many years have you been a regular biweekly client of Jessie’s House Cleaning? Ann T.: Jessie has been working with me since 2004 and still working with me and love it. Jessie’s: Do you fully trust Jessie’s House Cleaning enough to give us complete access to your precious home, even when you’re not in town? Ann T.: I do. My husband and I often travel and Jessie is able to come in to my home during those times that I’m away and I feel completely comfortable with that. And, know that she would take care of everything. I don’t need to worry about anything. Jessie’s: Are you satisfied with the level of quality Jessie’s House Cleaning provides? Ann T.: I am very very happy with the level of quality. I wouldn’t even be using her today, if it wasn’t up to par all the time. And, ever there is something that I want to discuss with her, she’s very open and willing to listen and to adjust immediately, which I find really comforting. Jessie’s: Do you think the service you receive is worth the price you pay? Is it fair priced? Ann T.: Very fair priced. Very fair. Jessie has been very fair with me on all things. Jessie’s: Did you know or did being accredited by the Better Business Bureau influence your decision in hiring us? Ann T.: Well, when I first hired Jessie, I don’t believe that was available so I wouldn’t be able to answer that question. Jessie’s: Jessie’s House Cleaning has been in business 14 years. Does the length of time a company has been in business serves as a good indication of the company? Ann T.: Definitely think it’s a good indication that people are happy and satisfied and that she’s providing the work to a group of people and that they are very happy with the results they get each week as Jessie and her staff come in. Jessie’s: What do you find most beneficial about our service? Ann T.: Well, I do like the fact sometimes when Jessie is not due to come to clean but I have a special problem or event coming up, that she can accommodate me and come in and help out, which is very valuable service to me. Jessie’s: And, anything else you may want to share to help potential clients looking for a quality service make an informed decision? Ann T.: I think one of the things I like best is that if there is a problem, I can address it with Jessie and she comes in and takes care of it immediately. And, I think that’s very important. And, the fact that she can come in when I’m not here is very comforting because I am retired so I’m out and about quite a bit and I just feel comfortable with her coming in. Jessie’s: Thank you.

    Q & A

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

How often should carpets be steam cleaned?

Dirty carpets can be unhealthy for the people living in the home, particularly those who have allergies, so it’s important to have them cleaned regularly; simply vacuuming once or twice a week isn’t enough. Carpet cleaning should be done by a professional carpet cleaning service at least once a year to remove grime and help extend the life of your carpet. Most carpet manufacturers recommend professional steam cleaning, which penetrates deep into the carpet fibers and lifts out both dirt and the pollutants that get tracked inside. Steam cleaning also removes most of the moisture, so carpets dry quickly enough for homeowners to resume using them the same day. Between professional carpet cleanings, your carpet may need an emergency spot cleaning. Pet accidents, food or drink spills, and more can often be effectively cleaned with some water and a drop of white vinegar, although many cleaners will also make house calls for smaller spills and hard-to-clean spots like wine or grease stains.

    Who cleans area rugs?

Like your carpets, area rugs should ideally be cleaned at least once a year to remove dust and dirt and help them last longer. In general, carpet cleaning professionals also clean area rugs. Some rug cleaners bring their cleaning equipment to your home, while others remove your area rugs and clean them at their facilities. Either way, the rug should be cleaned with the solution most appropriate to its specific fabric and construction. It should also be completely dry before you return it to the floor.

How much does it cost to clean a rug?

Area rugs are typically found in high-traffic areas of the home, like hallways and entryways, so they collect more dirt and stains than simple vacuuming can handle. Similar to carpet cleaning, professionals can come to your home to deep-clean your area rugs. The national average cost for rug cleaning ranges from $80 to $120, but may be higher or lower depending on the rug’s size and fiber type. Rug cleaners generally charge by the square foot; for example, a standard 8-foot by 10-foot rug costs an average of $100 to clean. Natural fiber rugs, such as wool or silk, are usually more expensive to have cleaned than synthetic rugs. A carpeting cleaning company may charge on average $1.50 per square foot to clean a synthetic rug, $2 per square foot for a wool rug, and $3 per square foot for a silk rug. Some delicate rugs need to be washed by hand, which increases the price. Carpet cleaning companies often offer additional services, such as removing odors or applying moth deterrent, which can add 20 cents to 25 cents per square foot.

How do you find a good carpet cleaning company?

Regular professional carpet cleaning can both extend the life of your carpet and remove harmful pollutants from your home. Finding a good carpet cleaning company is an important aspect of home maintenance. When choosing a carpet cleaner, consider these top three questions:

    • What method of carpet cleaning do you prefer? Steam cleaning is an increasingly popular method because it’s thorough and safe, and dries quickly enough for you to return to your home the same day the carpets are cleaned.
    • Have you checked the company’s references? Most cities are home to several carpet cleaning companies, so it’s a good idea to check their reviews and references. Look for references from people in your neighborhood with homes similar to yours.
    • What’s included in the base price? What other services does the carpet cleaning company offer? Some companies will move furniture for you, while others charge a fee for it. Some include stairs in the cost of the home’s cleaning, while others charge per step.

    What does carpet cleaning cost?

National average carpet cleaning prices range between $100 and $130. Carpet cleaning prices depend on how many square feet of carpet you want cleaned, how many rooms in one house or building will be cleaned, how stained your carpet is, how much the carpet cleaning company charges, your ZIP code, and the type of carpet you have. Cost per square foot can range from 20 cents to $1 or more, based on the above variables. Synthetic carpets are typically the least expensive to clean; natural fibers like wool cost more, as they require more care and attention, as well as more drying time. Excessive stains, challenging locations such as stairs, and accessibility also factor into your carpet cleaning price. Companies may charge a minimum service fee for cleaning a small carpet to cover their business expenses (paying employees, transporting the special equipment to your home). If your pet has repeatedly saturated the carpet with urine or if the fibers are extremely matted down, it may make more sense to completely replace your carpet than to continue to have it cleaned.

Hire skilled professionals for absolutely everything.
