I have worked in Palm Beach County for the last 12 years, building completely custom and out-of-this-world landscapes. I love what I do. My name is Jamie, and my company, "A Custom Landscape", was formed for the sole purpose of designing and building landscapes. This is our passion, and as we have an endless list of beautiful plants and trees that grow in our climate, we are able to build things that are so original that they cannot be duplicated! We are creating living green spaces for our clients, and this includes a combination of hardscape and landscape. We know that working for our clients in a timely manner and keeping things well laid out is critical. We will always go the extra mile for you, and we are educated both formally and through years of working in the field. We can and do it all, from super tropical backyard jungles to native and xeriscaped with little to no maintenance. When plants are used in the proper combination and planted in the proper places, things flourish, and this is a big part of our mission! We offer everything, from a very simple sketch to a detailed computer-animated drawing that can be in both 2- and 3-D. This can be done with small additions to your existing landscape, or we can build a landscape, from scratch, that is provocative and full of energy with every single detail thought out and a guarantee from our company or more, so it's a commitment that when you hire us, you can rest assured that even though it can be costly, we'll work diligently from every angle to bring what we have to offer to you and/or your community at the most affordable prices you will find. We offer services that include architecture plans and have an amazing architect on staff who loves native material and water areas. We also work in combination with general contractors and interior designers similar to what you may have seen on shows like Yard Crashers. This is done for a very good reason. We want to deliver the best of the best, and if we feel that's best done while working with another professional, we'll do it, and the results are always amazing and one of a kind! We offer plans, from of a simple sketch to computer-animated design in 2-D and 3-D. We will work with you through every step of the process to work in phases or from start to finish. Big job or small job, we do this because we love it, and if we can help, we will. We offer very competitive pricing and take all kinds of payment options. We always go the extra mile, and we enjoy doing that for our clients. We always consider all factors, which includes lighting (It's probably the best way to get the bang for your buck.) and irrigation systems. We work to make sure everything works in sync, and we have all of the proper licensing and insurance for your community A.R.C. or association if you are a commercial client. We have moved large trees on barges to place them as well as used cranes to lift trees over 20 stories up for commercial clients who have atriums and pool areas mid-building. We also work with office buildings to offer interior plant design and installation as well as maintenance of these landscapes. Our clients have included office buildings (The difference is so real that I cannot even try to sell you on it. Having real plants in your office will be a game changer. That's the end of the story.) hospitals and private clients. This is extremely important and vital to keeping clean air, and to me, there is nothing worse than walking into an office and being greeted by cheesy, cheap plastic plants. They are more costly, and forget the common misconception that they bring bugs and are too difficult to maintain. It is not true, and when the proper plants are used, it could mean watering only one time per month, if hand watering is even required. Orchids are a big part of our business, and we install them in all ways, from potted arrangements to elaborate displays in country clubs that we maintain and keep fresh every day without fail. We really like to share our knowledge and passion! In all honesty, I feel that orchids sell themselves. The thing you probably and likely do not know is that there are so many different varieties, and all are extremely hardy. Imagine you took any other plant from outside and brought it in, how long until it dies? Orchids are very hardy, and they show you through signs given by the plant's reaction to conditions as to what, if any, problems there are. We have orchids like the chocolate orchid that smells. This is one of thousands, I think orchids are probably my favorite-smelling flowering plants, and if you allow me the chance, I will show you specific vanda orchids that will prove my point!
