Liang is fantastic. Couldn't think of a better teacher to introduce my parents to yoga. Five stars!
Maureen has been the most influential teacher in my yoga career. I started yoga 4 years ago and started working with Maureen 2.5 years ago. I can say without a doubt that she is inspirational and exceptional in all she strives to do.
I had been suffering with debilitating lower back pain, trying chiropractic, stretching and laser therapies without relief. Heidi performed a 45 minute massage on me. I experienced pain relief and a significant increase in range of motion immediately following the message and that night, had the best night's sleep I've had in weeks. The next morning, the pain relief and range of motion actually improved and lasted for 4 days before I foolishly lifted some things that I shouldn't have. Heidi performed a 2nd massage on me and my back pain has remained minimal for 2 weeks now. Knowing that Heidi recently obtained her message therapy license, I was very impressed with her knowledge of human anatomy, performing the message as if she already had years of experience. I highly recommend Heidi for massage therapy.
Pratibha is one of the best Yoga instructors I have experienced. She takes her time with each pose and customizes each yoga session specifically for you. She is very professional, polite and really knows the proper technique for each pose. She also focuses on your breathing which helps greatly in doing yoga. She has enhanced my qualify of life significantly.
Nicole led a Yoga 101 class. She did a wonderful job introducing absolute beginners to the practice of yoga. She is patient and observant of the students and helps them with modifications as necessary. There were people in the class from college-age to retirees. I have since taken other classes with Nicole because of the good experience I had in her beginner's class.
Marina Bourantonis has 15+ years experience with many styles of Yoga.
She is an excellent trainer I tried yoga and she got me extremely flexible and she is also an excellent personal trainer
Group, private and corporate classes and retreats are available, including vinyasa flow, gentle, acu yoga, partner and team-building yoga and Pilates (all apparatuses).
Wendy came to my house for restorative yoga lessons. For the first time I am confident in basic poses. Great teacher.
Tina is an awesome trainer. We hit it off from the very first day. She keeps the workouts challenging but lighthearted and fun. Because she has such a great variety of experience the workouts are never the same. Yoga, pilates, HIT, strength training and spin are just some of what she dishes out weekly. Not to mention she comes up with some pretty killer ab moves. (a tight core is a good core) I definitely never get bored! No matter how painful it gets she always keeps me coming back for more! Thanks T!!
At Heart of Florida Yoga, we create an authentic yoga experience. Every session begins with breath work to start a unionizing effect with the body and mind. We bring movement through warm-up as needed for each body type. Asanas are chosen to accommodate the individual's needs. In a group setting, we use variations and modifications. Every practice ends in final resting pose. This final pose gives the body and brain time for assimilation of the practice (meditation). You will decrease stress hormones and increase feel-good chemicals in the brain that will bring ease to the body. It seems the benefits of a yoga practice are endless. We want to see everyone cultivate a practice that suits them. We are here to help.
I create an atmosphere that allows you to find peace and serenity. An ideal session will last one hour and should put you at peace, and allow you to become a little more limber for the day.

I teach yoga, with a specialty certification in stress management. I am certified to teach and serve populations, ranging from athletes to seniors.
I provide breezy yoga everyday for work and play. This is my background. I am an exercise physiologist, insured and registered yoga teacher, corrective exercise specialist, fitness specialist, fitness nutrition specialist, prenatal exercise specialist, and certified chair yoga teacher. I hold a Master of Science degree in exercise science and rehabilitation. I am currently a yoga instructor, exercise physiologist, health and wellness specialist, and patient educator in various locations around the Tampa Bay area. This is my style and philosophy. I teach multiple styles of yoga and popular group exercise classes at studios, corporate fitness centers, and hospitals. Infusing various elements of body movement, I help create a multisensory experience, which includes traditional yoga practice, kinesiology, exercise physiology, yoga Thai adjustments, sound therapy, guided meditation, nondrug-related pain management, and deep breathing techniques. I have a true passion for living the life of health and wellness both on and off the mat, and I use these experiences to fuse yoga and body awareness in every class. These are my passions: I truly believe yoga is a form of therapy for the body, mind and spirit. I also volunteer as a yoga therapist throughout the community in both studio and clinical settings, because I am an advocate of community service and local community involvement. I bring yoga to students and special populations, which include military veterans and caregivers, Huntington's, Parkinson's, ALS, and multiple sclerosis patients and caregivers, county health and wellness programs, women's jail programs, Ophelia young women's project, school wide children's fitness programs, and adults with developmental disabilities.
