Dr. Crosby made me feel very comfortable. She is very knowledgeable & has a calm warm demeanor. I’m excited to have finally found a therapist I’m comfortable with in the Sarasota area.
Very interesting encounter with this therapist. Helped me a lot, already thinking of hiring again. Great service.

Hello, I am a 66 year old retired attorney who has suffered from lower back pain most of my adult life. I have been to several orthopaedic surgeons, neurologists, chiropractors and pain specialists over the course of years. I have had several different treatment modalities including a whole back brace for nine months and very painful lumbar facet joint injections. All of this without relief and progressive worsening of the pain. I was beginning to use an electric wheel chair as things had deteriorated so much. One day, in pain and desperation, I decided to find a massage therapist (what could I lose?) and, yes, went to the yellow pages. Found Garys listing. He was licensed, close and as good as any other choice. Called and set an immediate session with him. (By the way, this man is the most accommodating professional you will ever meet about being available for you.) I found out very early on that as good as any other choice was not true. I have learned from Gary and from my own independent research, that there are but a few real experts in this profession who really know their stuff, not only by study but also through years of experience coupled with an intense desire to really make people feel better and be well. Now I wont tell you that the treatments are a walk in the park, because they are not. This is not relaxation massage, although Gary does that well, too. This is real treatment to return your muscle and fascial structures back to the state of wellness. And that can be uncomfortable and , yes, and considering my prior state of physical dysfunction, at times somewhat painful. But after the sessions, when you feel the relief from pain, the lasting relief from pain, that these sessions bring to you, you will be anxious for your next appointment to arrive. Thanks to Gary (and his magic hands), for the first time in years I am able to walk reasonable distances without extreme pain and can sit with little to no discomfort. I would rate it at a 80 percent improvement which, believe me, I never got even close to with all those previous medical treatments from expert doctors. I very rarely give recommendations or endorsements of anything or anyone. But I do so here without any hesitation or reservation. Gary is an outstanding LMT and I recommend giving him a try. You will be happy you did. Ronald R. Goller, J.D.
Davita did an excellent job helping me cure public speaking anxiety in preparation for giving a TEDx talk. She surpassed expectations and provided new techniques that I've never heard of anywhere else. The session provided tools that I'll be using for many years to come.
Victor Ford is a brilliant psychotherapist. I can say this with “authority,” as it took me a long time, and many therapists, to find one who could help me with my depression, alcoholism and abusive childhood baggage. Vic is so easy to talk to/with. He has a gentle, yet focused and erudite way of helping me look at the man (me) behind the curtain. He has stuck with me patiently and compassionately through some very difficult situations. He’s helped me learn and grow from these challenges, instead of getting buried beneath them. Dr. Ford’s knowledge and experience is amazing. He draws from a deep pool which includes psychotherapy, theology, spirituality and physiology. In short: mind, body, spirit and soul. That was critical for MY healing and recovery. A psychotherapist with a brilliant mind and a loving heart: that is how I would describe Vic Ford. And I know, as I journey forward, he will ALWAYS be my trusted friend, philosophical mentor and learned doctor.
Dr. Mahaney is everything that a good therapist should be... she's patient, compassionate, personable, professional, and very knowledgeable. She is a wonderful therapist and I would highly recommend her.
Janice was outstanding and great. She's very professional. She was understanding and clicked well with our family. I would recommend her to anyone who is in need of a family therapist. Janice is respectful, patient, and compassionate. She is not judgmental and offers great advice.
Dawn is amazing, one of the most gifted therapists I've ever worked with. She is intelligent, well-read and compassionate. My home, work and personal life is significantly better due to her.
Charisse cured my nervous tics. She taught me how to control my depression and elevated anxiety. She gave me the ability to control my thoughts as well as the strong emotions that accompanied them. Her therapy stabilized my thoughts, and let me lead a life I could only dream of. 4 psychiatrists with their medications only made me worse. I would vigorously recommend Dr. Diaz to anyone who is having any mental or emotional difficulties.
When I made the decision to seek help again. I honestly didn't believe there was any for me. In that moment of desperation, all I knew was I needed to get somewhere safe. My addiction had me believing I wanted to die. Any addict reading this will understand that feeling. I had pretty much given up trying to find an open bed in a detox center. That's when Steven from Sunspire called and within a couple days I was admitted into Sunspire's 3rd party detox facility in Tampa. When I entered treatment at Sunspire Health Hyde Park on October , 2017 it was to save my life. However, being my third treatment center. I just expected more of the same. Do this, don't do that, chant the serenity prayer, do a 12 step program, and be on your way. What I got was more than this addict could have ever dreamt for; a new perspective on life. After a brief adjustment period of me wanting to control and run every aspect of Sunspire and my treatment program. Yes, me the addict who weeks before was on the edge of death knew what was best for me. Thank God for the amazing operational and clinical staff who maneuvered me through and convinced me to stay on the numerous occasions I wanted to leave because it was too much. I opened up and allowed myself to receive the treatment/services Sunspire offered. The individualized one on one therapy was eye opening and has honestly changed my life. After thirty years of using drugs to cope. I've finally come to realize that my issue isn't with drugs and alcohol; the issue is ME. My therapist individualized a treatment plan to my specific needs and with my input. This allowed me to dig deep into those things that plagued me from childhood into adulthood. The cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, psychodrama, relapse prevention, codependence, spirituality, relationships and family dynamics groups provided the knowledge, skills and tools I need to piece my life back together. Along with that they put great emphasis on NA/AA sponsorship and building a network of people outside of treatment. The outside meetings were a reintroduction to life and people clean. Reaching out and asking for help was something I just didn't do before Sunspire. I have a lot of work still to do. I am open and accepting to do that work. I have never felt so confident and as prepared to "live life on life's terms" as I do today after spending 90 days at Sunspire Health Hyde Park. For the first time in my life, I am looking forward to the future and a life in long term recovery. I finally got it and it's so simple, I never have to use again!
I’ve been going to Level Wellness for about 3 months and Brian, my therapist, is one of the best! He is knowledgeable and very laid back!
Maya is, by far, the best massage therapists I've had the pleasure of hiring. She's efficient with her time, pays attention to detail & is very knowledgeable in her craft. I would recommend her to anybody and will continue to use her services on a regular basis.
I have worked with Suresh for a long time now! He has inspired me to overcome my anxiety and depression. This man has a heart of a tiger and he is so easy to talk to. I use to always want to see female therapist only. I took a leap of faith and went and seen Suresh. Best call I have ever made. I could never go to a new therapist. I never feel like I am being judged, or pushed. If anything, he makes me feel so accepted and like he actually understands what I have been through.
I saw Dr. Benedict after being ordered by another doctors office to have an "evaluation" for drug use/abuse, & he was to determine if I was indeed in need of "counseling". I explained what occurred that brought me to him. He was understanding, compassionate, kind & most of all- caring. He went beyond the call of duty to back me up AND made arrangements so that life will be a whole lot easier in the future for me when dealing with other doctor & the like. Being a patient with chronic & permanent disability is very hard to live with in Florida, especially when prejudice is rampant. Dr. Benedict has really made a huge difference in the way I am treated & I couldn't be more grateful for what he did. So many in medicine have lost the understanding & common sense, let alone compassion, that Dr. Benedict still has even after 35 years in practice. Patients suffer needlessly because their doctors don't step up to help them like they should-when profits over people run how they practice, & more doctors than not, in my experience, have lost the most important part of being a doctor-to help HEAL. I recommend Dr. Benedict to anyone needing an excellent therapist.
Jemie is a great therapist she is very attentive to my needs.
Thus far, all I have had was an initial intake last week with my first appointment tomorrow. Dr. Nelson gave me a homework assignment which really made me not only think but open my eyes. I have emailed her several times and her responses have been unprescented. She is always right there with encouragement, is insightful and has already been a tremendous help. I have been in therapy in the past, but I always quit when things get tough or my life becomes manageable to where I feel I don't have to face uncomfortable things. Dr. Nelson, I believe is building a foundation for me that will allow me the ease and comfort to do all the work I need to do to move forward with a healthier life. I am so grateful I found her on this site.
I am a mobile massage therapist. I specialize in relaxation, therapeutic, and deep tissue massages. My massages are 30, 60, or 90 minutes long and cost $20, $40, or $60. I also provide chair massages for businesses or for events.

We may have feelings or thoughts that there is something "profoundly wrong with me." Low self-esteem is related with the feelings of not being good enough. It's as if we keep trying over and over to feel good about ourselves, instead we feel bad. That is why therapy is essential for your mental health and I'm glad that you are here. You're just one phone call away from getting help.
