I've been going to Al for trigger point release therapy for about a year. I've been suffering with plantar fasciitis for over 10 years. I've received several pain injections on both my feet over the years but the pain would come back again and again. I Crossfit several times per week and my injuries weren't allowing me to complete the full workout. I constantly found myself having to modify everything. Al is a miracle worker. Within a couple sessions I found release and now can run, jump rope etc. I highly recommend. He's professional, very knowledgeable in his field and an all around fantastic trainer and massage therapist.
Nolan has helped me through my diet every day, my body has been transforming every week to what I want it to be. He always responds on time to his emails and text and I never have a problem reaching him. He has great knowledge in fitness routines and nutrition.... next up competition!
SoFLO (Nikki) has been my trainer 3X a week for 2 years. She is very professional with a plan in mind. She varies the routine sufficiently to keep the sessions from getting boring. Over this period I dropped about 30 pounds. I have had many trainers over the years and SoFlo and Nikki has been the best by far.
Hannah was extremely knowledgable about training on top of making adjustments specifically catering to my sport and journey to be leaner. I was extremely impressed with how she found ways to connect the weights and movements to being explosive in my sport. It was also cool that she was detail orientated enough to demonstrate each movement to me and explained why I would benifit from doing it. Our first couple training sessions she also let me know what might make me feel uncomfortable or sore so I knew what to expect going into each movement. I felt motivated and supported with each training session due to her encouraging and bubbly personality. She has a very special way to connect with people and you will know what I mean once you train with her! She keeps things serious but definetly makes pretty funny jokes about day to day life... if you can appreciate a serious trainer with some humor, you will love her. Every time I arrived to train with Hannah, she was ready and prepared the second I got there. She was also very responsive and easy to reach if I ever wanted to schedule more or less training and/or had questions about nutrition or additional stretching. Inaddition to the training sessions, Hannah spoke to me a lot about goals. She is very passionate about wanting to support you in achieving whatever and where ever your goals are in the gym and outside of the gym. I’ve trained with several trainers but it’s hard to find great ones like Hannah! I would recommend her to anyone whether their a high level athlete or a beginner in the gym!

Lance Burns is a great trainer. He is definitely passionate about his craft, and doesn't mind pushing his clients toward their goals. Lance trained me for my first men's physique competition in which I got fourth overall out of 40 individuals that were competing.
I reached out to Savannah for assistance with my nutrition. If you're going to put in the time for workout you need nutrition that furthers your goals. She has gotten me on target and I look to hit my body fat goal by the time I get my bikinis out. She is easy to reach, responds quickly, and is so affordable you can't afford not to partner with her.
I came to Thumbtack because I was l looking for someone who could get me to a professional bikini body level. Serge was the first trainer to answer my inquiry, I believe he answered the same day. I asked him a couple of questions, which he answered promptly, after that we set up a date and time for our first meeting. Serge made sure to choose a gym where I felt comfortable and where I wouldn't feel intimidated by the equipment. We got right to work right away and that same day he sent me a detailed e-mail with the supplements, meal-plan, and gear I would need. Serge is very laid back, funny, and has a great personality, so whether you're a male or a female he will make you feel comfortable working with him. In my experience with Serge; I have not only found a great trainer, who I feel confident can get my body where I'd like it to be, but I also feel like I've gained a real friend :-)
Training with Christian has been nothing short of life changing. He is an incredibly talented personal trainer and extremely knowledgeable when it comes to nutrition. Never in a million years did I ever think I would step on stage as a fitness bikini competitor. Christian's training lead me to 1st place in my first ever bikini competition and I'm now a proud owner of a Pro Card!! Ive trained with Yaniv for more than four years and have made remarkable progress thanks to his expertise as a strength coach. We started with basic lifts, movements and kettle bell training and then moved on to the classic power lifts: bench press, squat and deadlift. In that time, Ive gone from being a skinny couch potato to competing in my first powerlifting competition, where I deadlifted 390 pounds (more than double my bodyweight) and eventually reached my goal of 405. My squat hit 315. Yaniv does a great job of fostering healthy competition to make people push themselves harder and his commitment to his own training makes him an especially strong motivator.
3 words, Distant Performance Program!! This is the most awesome and innovative idea I have ever taken part in. I had my own gym, I hated their trainers, I thought their rates were ridiculous and all of them looked 19 years old. I could already out lift most of them. Vertex showed me that I could control my routine, on my own time and allowed me to include my input and experience. It was the best strength routine I had ever had...I have never, in the 10 years I've been lifting, seen faster results than with Vertex's routines. Greatly impressed and will be going back for round 2 in 6 months.
I hired Trainer Shawn two years ago because I had spent a decade doing intense endurance sports (including long distance competition) and had neglected my strength and flexibility. As a professional in my late 40s who had worked with numerous other trainers, I knew immediately after meeting Shawn that his perspective and approach to fitness was different than other trainers. Shawn went beyond asking me about my fitness goals and identified weaknesses and imbalances I was not aware of that were impacting my health and athletic performance. Shawn then developed a program for me that let me pursue my goals but also addressed my weaker aspects. Shawn plans each session in advance so that I pursue my program. He's focused and keeps me the same. What really impressed me most about working with Shawn is that his fitness "toolbox" is so much larger compared to other trainers. His knowledge and experience are vast. He can expertly coach techniques and movements that focus on power, strength, endurance, injury recovery, Olympics and/or flexibility. He can work comfortably with someone brand new to fitness all the way to professional athletes. He will support sport specific training or general fitness. He is truly a personal trainer (focused on me) and has raised my fitness level to a new level (my flexibility is the best it's been and I've achieved PRs in certain power movements). He's the definition of the trainer's trainer. I highly recommend Shawn and can virtually guarantee he will dramatically impact your fitness and your life.
Allison has helped me tremendously throughout my fitness journey. When I started working out consistently last May I had little knowledge with weights or resistance equipment and what was the point of it. Now that I have been training with her I learn something new everyday. That's exactly what I was seeking in a trainer, not someone who was just going to tell me to do generic cookie cutter exercises but someone who would really care about my lifelong fitness journey and providing me with the knowledge to eventually continue on my own. Vanessa and I have been working out together for about 5 years now. She is by far one of the best if not the best trainer in Miami. Not only does she train people but she also compete in fitness competitions giving her all the knowledge necessary to change your body. She can lead you through various work outs including circuit training, boot camp, pilates, cardio, weight training, boxing, and trx etc. I highly recommend training with her!!
With Andres guidance I became a bikini competitor again and am starting a new in Fall 2016 competing again under his guidance. He is a true professional and is passionate about his coaching. I contacted Elio when I was in South Beach for a holiday. Back home I work out a lot and I wanted to experience a PT session in Miami. I reached out to Elio based on the good reviews and he responded immediately. He was already willing to work out with me the next day. Communication was fast, friendly and efficient. The next moring he showed up at my hotel and we had a good work out! Elio is a very professional trainer and knows how to push you in the right way. I went home with inspiration to continue my dream to compete in a biki pro competition. He gave me advise and support and even offered to check my current training routine and diet, so I will stay in touch with him even back home. I will definitely contact him for a training if Im ever in Miami again.
