- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For the most part, you can only find good Thai Massage in very rare locations. Just because it’s an Asian spa does not mean their Thai massage is good. Asia is a big continent with many different people, the word “oriental” is just as misleading. The best Thai massage you will receive will probably come from a yoga studio or from me.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Getting to know the client and what their goals are for the session. Is it pain release? A particular problem area, a chronic discomfort due to lifestyle, recovery from an injury, may need an emotional release, etc Every client is different, we will typically start with a full-body alignment, to observe what’s needed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Aside from my Thai body work training (which is always continuing), I have a Bachelor’s in Philosophy meaning I have an understanding of life as a whole. This aids me greatly when I work on this profession because I see how the field of healing develops through metaphysical means along with physical means.
